Viviana leaned back unconsciously and looked at Leander with her eyes wide. The neckline of her dress got uncomfortable for her and she felt like it was squeezing her throat.

She knows what the Vitale family is about. They are powerful but they are well known for hurting the women of the families they don’t like.

Not only does Leonardo Vitale know about her past, but he also said that he took vengeance on her behalf. Why would he do that?

Everyone stood up and Viviana joined them. They were going to lower the coffin into the grave. For not so surprising reason, the Kastello family’s tradition involved only men for this task.

As the brother of Evander, Leander was asked to be at the grave. Leander patted her back before leaving. Viviana bit her lips and stood silently.

"Want to see what’s inside the casket?" Leonardo asked.

After Leander left, he got brazen and stood closer to her. She scooted to the side but it was no use. As if he was attached to her, he moved closer to her.

"It’s not the Kastello family’s tradition to cremate. But they cremated Evander’s body, heh..." Leonardo scoffed. "They cremated the parts I sent to them because they didn’t want anyone to see the pitiful state Evander was at his last moments. Comical, isn’t it?"

Leonardo leaned to her ear. "I heard Peter likes to see things burn. Do you think he enjoyed burning his grandson? How will he feel to see his arm or leg burning?"

Viviana took a side step. Father Patrick said that vengeance is of the Lord. Then what should she call this? More importantly... Why is Leonardo saying all these to her?

"Don’t talk to me!" she said as he stepped closer to her.

"Why not?" Leonardo raised his brows. "I know. I have to apologize too. I didn’t mean to shoot you. It truly was accidental. I am sorry I~"

Viviana removed her sunglasses and interjected him. "You shot at my husband, you fuc~"

Viviana took in a deep breath and turned to the front. Leonardo looked perplexed as she cussed at him. But she was so mad.

What would it take for him to shut his mouth?

But Leonardo did not mind her angry glare. Her aversion did not deter him. He bent to her ear and continued.

"You’re mad at me? Hey, Angel! I apologize. I’ll do anything for you. Ask me~"

"Do not talk to me," Viviana bit out every word between her teeth.

"Why?" Leonardo pouted.

He wanted to talk to his sister. But she does not want to talk to him. He was disappointed.

"I am Leander’s wife. I do not want~"

"So what?" Leonardo shrugged. "I’m talking to you casually. What’s wrong with that? Is the great Lion that insecure?" he sneered.

"Keep my husband’s name out of your fu- effing mouth. You might be talking to me casually, Vitale. But your reputation precedes you. People are going to think that you are making an indecent proposal to me! Don’t think that you can humiliate my husband using me!"

"But~"

"I will not have my reputation ruined by you, Vitale! Stay away from me!"

Viviana clenched her jaws. Her eyes looked distant as she looked at him with disgust. She did not shout but spoke with the base of her voice. Even those right behind them wouldn’t have heard what she said. She reeled back her anger seeing him retreating.

Leonardo looked like he was punched in the face. He stumbled in the grass as he took a step back. "I’m your brother..." he mumbled.

Viviana was glaring at him. Although she couldn’t hear him well, she thought he said that he was her brother.

"Brother?"

She scoffed in her heart. As if anyone would believe Leonardo Vitale talked to a woman with brotherly love.

"I am your brother," Leonardo said. This time he made sure she hears clearly.

Viviana blinked staring at him. Wearing her sunglasses, she searched for Leander.

What a weird guy! He has lost his marbles.

"Did you see that?" Don Waldorf whispered to Lionel. "Looks like the terms of the deal are set! In the end, the young lion too found a deal with the Vitale family more attractive than the woman he married. Oh, look how feisty she is. She still doesn’t know that her husband sold her off."

Lionel fisted his hands seeing the smirk on his father’s face. His father is implying that Leander offered his wife to Leonardo in exchange for some deal.

Lionel looked at Viviana. He couldn’t say for sure what Viviana said. But Leonardo stepped farther away from her and he looked pale as if he has seen the grim reaper. He might be wrong but Leonardo looked like he was feeling ashamed. But there was no anger accompanying his shame.

She must have said something that got him.

He looked at his father. His father noticed that too. His smirk disappeared. Lionel’s smile reappeared.

"Looks like the lioness got the snake," he whispered to his father. "Maybe there’s more to her than what meets the eye. We are not sure who she is. Do you really think Peter allowed his grandson to marry a nobody?" he asked.

Lionel already was pretty sure that Bellissima was Helena’s sister and Tabitha’s daughter. But is Tabitha’s husband her father? If the rumors are right, Tabitha was "with" Vito Vitale a lot.

Could he have fathered the twins?

It was not Leonardo’s method to not touch a woman he wants to have. He’s an aggressive predator. But he’s been acting pretty respectful towards Bellissima. He observed his micro expressions.

Leonardo wants to impress Bellissima. He was looking at her with affection. Whatever she said, broke his heart. He is feeling ashamed of himself.

Lionel knows facial expressions. He is a movie director. Leonardo does not have any ill intention toward Bellissima. He saw Leander returning to his seat after finishing his duties.

Leander is not going to think the same, right?

Leander returned to his seat. Viviana asked him if they can change seats.

"Did he do something?" Leander reached for his gun.

Viviana held his hand. "He said a lot. He also said that he is my brother. I don’t know... I don’t want to be near him..."

"Brother?" Leander furrowed his brows.

"I know, right? I must have misheard. What a weird guy!" Viviana walked around Leander and took his seat.

She understood why Leander looked at her like that.

What is the chance that Leonardo Vitale is her brother?
