Chapter 206: The Princess
Chapter 206: The Princess
Steve and the driver stood leaning on the bonnet of the car. They both cleared their throats and stood straight as the car shook.
"I thought Capo does not like smoking," Luca asked. "I heard he fired the last chauffeur because he saw him smoking off-time."
Steve shrugged. "He’s a married man now."
Even if he is the king himself, once he gets married, he will have to change to accommodate his wife. That’s pretty much the rule for every man. Their Capo can’t be the exception.
Luca chuckled and leaned toward Steve with a cheeky smile. "I never thought that the partition would go up when he’s with a woman... It would have been such a shame to not use that feature..."
Steve shrugged. He can only give the same answer. "He’s married now."
"Good for him," Luca nodded heartily. "He needs someone like Signora..."
Steve observed Luca. "You like her," he said, although Luca looked like he would build a shrine for Signora and worship her.
Luca smiled agreeing with Steve. "The other day my son came to Orchid Gardens after school because his mother was not home. I asked him to stay in the garage~"
Steve interjected him. "But you cannot bring your kids to~"
Luca waved his hand. "Listen...But he had wandered off to the garden when Signora was there. I thought that I was finished. But, you see..." Luca’s eyes lit up with gratefulness. "Signora helped him with his homework and gave him sweets. My son keeps on talking about the "Princess" he met in the garden to the extent my wife’s getting jealous," Luca chuckled. "He says he loves the Princess more than he loves his mother and his teachers."
"Princess?" Steve quipped. He found that interesting.
"He’s in the second grade," Luca shrugged. "And she was wearing a long, pale blue robe that day..."
Steve laughed along with Luca. "She is good with kids, isn’t she?"
Too bad she can’t become a mother. And too bad Leander is falling deeply for her. This is not going to end well.
"Very much," Luca agreed.

Leander hooked his finger on her panties. The tips of his finger grazed over her sensitive skin. And then he smirked at her as if he was proving a point.
Viviana’s eyes watered. Not because she did not like his touch. They were inside a heavily tinted car and no one would know what happens in there.
But she grasped the meaning of the words she heard plenty of times.
"What I wear didn’t matter..." she mumbled.
If Evander planned to do something to her, he will do it no matter what she wore. Plus, she has Leander by her side. She should have worn something comfortable.
Leander smiled as if he was glad that she got his message.
Although jumpsuits are very comfortable to wear...they lack functionality. It gets a lot tricky when you need to use the restroom.
Uh! And public restrooms... Bleh!
She loved jumpsuits very much. But that was the reason she would avoid wearing them if she had to be somewhere for a long time.
Why didn’t she think of this before dressing for the party? It’s a party for Leander and he can’t be the first one to leave. And everyone will toast him and as his wife, she should be drinking too.
Oh, Melanie, you stupid, stupid fool!
"If there is no zipper here, how will you pee?" he asked placing his hand on her crotch.
Viviana blinked her eyes.
What a logical question! Even if there was a zipper there, it wouldn’t be of much use for her. She cannot pee standing up like him.
Leander then started to laugh. "Don’t tell me... You’ll have to undress to pee?"
"Shut up!" Viviana hit him. But that didn’t shut him up.
"I should have worn adult diapers," she mumbled.
Leander started chortling. "Or pants with zippers, or a dress, or a skirt... You really think too much stupid thoughts...Adult diapers?"
He laughed so hard his eyes watered.
"Glad I’m giving you a comical relief on your birthday," Viviana grumbled.
"Yeah... thanks..." Leander couldn’t stop laughing.
Viviana wanted to get mad at him but she couldn’t. Yeah, her mind really went first thing to adult diapers. What can she do about that?
And, he was looking so adorable with that hearty boyish smile. If she could make him laugh like this at her expense, she would consider that a good deal. This guy needs a good laugh.
She sat leaning on the car door. Her legs were stretched on the seat and Leander sat beside her legs. He laughed for some time.
"Will you stop it?" she hit him in the arm. "The car is shaking. Others might think that we are doing something...naughty in here..."
"I don’t care," he wiped his eyes. "We are married. Why do others look at us anyway?"
Viviana rolled her eyes. But she couldn’t keep her eyes off him.
How many women have seen you laughing silly like this, Leander?
She asked in her heart. Gabriella told her that Leander had a brooding charisma. And if that was the case, he wouldn’t have laughed much back then.
Maybe Helena saw him laugh like this in moments they spent privately...
Private moments...
Viviana cleared her throat and bowed her head. Just then, she was jealous. She was sure she got jealous of Helena. She did not like that feeling at all.
Ugh! Why is this happening? This is terrible.
Is this how love is supposed to feel?
"Minerva," Leander held her chin and she looked up. He had stopped laughing and still the remnants of his good laugh were visible as tiny droplets of tears by the corner of his eyes. "What are you thinking?" he asked. "You suddenly went silent..."
Viviana smiled. She shook her head. "Nothing."
Leander took in a deep breath. His magnetic eyes didn’t let her look elsewhere. "You’re my wife," he said. His face zoomed in front of her and his soft lips pressed to her lips.
She didn’t protest his gentle kiss. As she wrapped her hand around his neck, the gentle kiss turned the heat and turned passionate.
When he left her, she was panting, and her hair was all messed up. She knew her makeup was ruined, or at least her lipstick was smudged red as she could see his mouth. She probably looks the same too.
"You keep saying that..." Viviana looked at him. "You’re my wife..." she asked. "I don’t think you know the meaning."
"I don’t?" his lips curved to a surprised smile. "You do?"
Viviana pouted. "If you knew, you wouldn’t have forced me here."
Leander said nothing. She let out a sigh at his expected silence.
What a chauvinist! Only she has to change herself. He won’t make an effort!
She got her clutch from him or tried to. "I have to fix my face..." she pointed at her face.
Leander gave her clutch back to her only after taking the knife inside it.
"You don’t know what it truly means to be my wife," he said.
Viviana rolled her eyes. "Of course."
