Chapter 160: Hakuna Matata
"Can I change your mind?" Viviana asked as she didn’t get any answer from him.
In this issue, or any other issue, will he hear her opinion?
She didn’t know how she got the urge to ask him. About this issue, or any other issue, will her voice matter to him? He’s a Kastello. He won’t listen to her. If she’s living with him, she’ll have to accept that.
There is no way she will have the relationship her parents had where each of them respected the other’s input in everything. She will have to accept him as her husband in the traditional sense where he is the head of the family.
Good thing she doesn’t have to think hard about it. It’s not like she’s going to live forever where she will have to decide if she should choose him or her principles.
She decided to go with the flow. Right now, she wanted him inside her. Even after having her fill last night and even though she feared pain, she wanted him as she felt his heavy breath on her face.
Leander chuckled. He didn’t understand the depth of her question. He just thought that she wanted to stop him from going to Venus Point. He thought she’s being cute.
"Silly, I’m just going there for business," he said and thrusted himself inside her and she clutched his shoulders. Breathing in her mouth, he looked into her deep eyes. "You can’t change my business meeting."
Viviana leaned on his face. Her forehead pressed on his nose and she exhaled sharply as he slid deep inside her. He gave her an answer she expected him to say.
She cannot interfere on his business. She cannot leave. She cannot escape. What she can do is have fun while it lasts.
Hakuna matata!
"Will you try to stop me if I want to sleep with another woman?" he asked.
She didn’t know why he asked that question. Just seconds ago, he told her that she cannot change his mind. So why should she care?
She wrapped her hands around his neck. She moaned as he moved. It was hard for her to focus on his eyes. "Why should~"
Before she finished, he kissed her. He didn’t want to hear her answer which obviously going to change from the way she was acting some time ago. He knows she cares and that’s all he wanted to know.
His hand slipped inside her shirt and he still was holding her up with her back pressed to the wall. His thrusts were intense and his kisses on her neck made her lose her mind.
As she reached her peak she could feel her insides getting filled up with something warm. He was leaning on her cleavage panting against her skin.
So, this is a quickie...? This too is amazing and intimate.
When he slipped out of her and let her down, she leaned on the wall to compose herself. He leaned on her and peppered kisses on her forehead.
It was different and was almost like a trust exercise as she lost herself as he carried her. She didn’t think she would have trusted anyone else to hold her for that long. And she wouldn’t have allowed herself to become this vulnerable with anyone else.
Out of all people, Leander Kastello is the one person who could catch her off guard. There is something changing inside her, she could feel.
But she doused that spark with her confident opinion that she doesn’t have long to live.
She opened her eyes sensing the wetness dripping down on her thighs. She will have to shower before getting out. She probably smells like him although she couldn’t smell anything. She’s been engulfed in his scent for so long, she almost got used to it just like she got used to her scent.
Leander pulled up his trousers and she blinked her eyes. "You’re not changing? It’s all wrinkled..." she pointed at his shirt and trousers where the wrinkles were visible.
Usually, he leaves his home in a prim and proper way. She’s never seen him walking around with creases on his clothes. But he shrugged as if he didn’t care.
"Just change!" she unbuttoned his shirt.
Is this guy loose in the head? Everyone’s going to know how he got those creases. She shivered imagining everyone looking at her with a knowing, teasing smile. By everyone, she meant the nasty kitchen maids who finds joy by teasing her.
He tried to say something, but she pointed at the suit rack. "Change! Just change!"
It was not a request but an order. Leander stared at her for a few seconds before walking to the rack to get a new set of suits. Viviana walked to the bathroom only after making sure he was changing.
She had a quick shower and when she came out, he still was in the closet. She was still in the bathrobe. He shook the collar brooch in front of her face.
"Why are you this way?" she sighed. "You’re stubborn as a toddler!" she mumbled. If he wants something, he won’t leave unless he had it. Today, he wanted her to dress him and here he is...
He bowed to her with a smile. He observed her as she pinned the brooch. He loved how gentle she is when she does that. Never once did she scratch him or let the pointed tip get anywhere closer to his skin. She’s pricked herself once though. She’d rather hurt herself than let him get hurt.
He was beyond happy. Never once he thought that someone would make him do anything. But then this one came to his life.
He’s worn lipstick because of her, and even now... he changed because of her. Why? What makes him do what she wants him to do? He didn’t know.
But he had no regrets. He might change more. Maybe one day, she might change his mind in serious matters like his business.
Would it be bad though?
He pecked her lips before leaving the room. "Change. I’ll ask the kitchen to bring you breakfast. And... Lionel is in the guest bedroom in the first floor. I think he won’t wake up until noon. So, don’t disturb him..." he looked at the distance. "I’ll be home for lunch," he gave her a smooch.
"You don’t want me to talk to Mr. Yannis without your presence. Am I getting that right?" she asked.
She interpreted what he said that way. But she wanted to know for sure.
Leander didn’t say anything. He patted her head and turned to leave. She might think that he does not trust her. But he doesn’t want her to know that her life is in danger from Lionel. He wanted to deal with it in his own way. And he wanted her to take rest. She doesn’t have to slave off in the kitchen today.
Viviana locked the bedroom door after he left. He’s not locking her in, but now he is asking her to lock herself in. He might make it appear that she has a choice, but she knew she doesn’t.
Well, she decided to sleep some more. But before that, she had to change the sheets. It looked dirty. In just a day...
She let out a deep breath. Her lips curved up as she thought of the intimacy they shared. In a way, she loved her life. She doesn’t have to think hard or have to decide for herself. Everything will be decided by her warden a.k.a. her husband.
Thinking about it, she can write a snuff film with that storyline. She shook her head. She shouldn’t fill her head with dirty thoughts all the time. It can’t be healthy.
All she has to do is just chill! Not bad... not bad at all...
Well, he’s not too bad, for real. She couldn’t think of any warden trying to fix an air conditioner in the kitchen for his prisoner. He’s a weird one. He gets happy with her sloppy gifts and he smiles like a boy to make her heart skip a beat. She doesn’t know what he thinks most times but he treats her so gently lately.
The shower...
When was the last time she felt so relaxed...? She didn’t remember.
Maybe this is for the best!
Hakuna Matata!
Just as she changed the sheets, Mary brought her breakfast. Viviana had her fill. She refused the coffee as she was planning on sleeping. She was so tired.

Leander walked inside his grandfather’s room. Evander was already there. By his appearance, it looked like he was complaining about something. Barnabas was leaning on the recliner with a smile.
"Don’t involve yourself in the fight between women. Leave it for them to settle," Peter waved his hand.
Evander gritted his teeth. "But grandpa, how am I a man if I let my woman cry?" he asked.
Leander wanted to roll his eyes. That idiotic child went to complain to Evander, it seems. And what’s with his attraction towards that child? Eww!
"Find a smarter one, then!" Barnabas chuckled. "She shaved her head herself. Why is she so impressionable?"
Evander glared at Barnabas, but he didn’t stop laughing. Leander saw that even his grandfather was holding back his laughter.
"She is dumber than her father. Who would have thought?" Peter said. "But her stunt will get her father a seat! At least, she was lucky Leander’s wife was there."
