Chapter 133: Salon Visit(4)
"Who is Monica whatever?" Ayla asked.
Viviana could only roll her eyes. Kids! They only know how to mistreat!
"I thought she looks like Deva Cassel... She even has the curls and the eyes... See..." Ayla passed her phone to Nadia.
Nadia scoffed. Viviana rolled her eyes.
Yeah, she definitely looks like Monica Bellucci’s daughter who is a MODEL!!! These kids are so...
Nadia nodded half-heartedly. "Their eyes are somewhat similar... their face structure too..." she said.
Viviana didn’t take that to heart. Confirming to what another person says whether thay agree to it or not is the norm among friends. And she wouldn’t think of herself as some great beauty. She isn’t. She knows it.
"So, Nadia... Are you here to donate your hair?" Viviana asked.
She wanted to change the topic and also to get back at Nadia.
Yeah, she was that petty to get back at a teenager. Bite her!
Leander is not here yet and she wanted to pass the time and to punish the snobby, bratty girl who knows no respect.
With a wince, Nadia shook her head.
"Oh, I thought you’d get on the trend and donate your hair... you know, for those with cancer...By the way, how is your dad’s campaign going on? He should be happy with you for supporting him," Viviana said and Nadia knitted her brows skeptically and with a reason.
Viviana must have no good intent to suggest that her donating her hair would help in her father’s election campaign.
Viviana didn’t mind Nadia and turned to the wannabe influencer. "And Ayla, maybe record a video and post in Insta... Or better yet, go live! You know what? Maybe you should do it with her too. I bet you’d gain at least a hundred thousand followers...And, it’s just hair. It grows back," Viviana shrugged casually as if she had no intention of forcing them to do it.
But she wanted them to do it.
Ayla’s face brightened up when she heard "a hundred thousand followers". "I’d reach a million followers then..." she said.
Viviana’s heart skipped a beat. This brat has almost a million followers? Wow! What a world!
Soon, there were whispers and discussions among the two.
"I did the same too, you know... To help those poor little kids who lost their hair..." Viviana added.
She was not happy with herself for invoking poor little kids, but it’s for a good cause. And bearing the Kastello name, she cannot be excluded from their bad deeds. She is not hurting anyone. So...
The bullied girl tried to join in the discussion. "But, Nadia. You cannot donate~"
"You," Viviana interjected the girl. "Come sit with me."
Of course, treated hair cannot be donated. It’s general knowledge. But Viviana didn’t peg those two bullies as someone with general knowledge or common sense. She placed her bet based on that fact.
The bullied girl reluctantly came to Viviana. When everything happened, the hairdressers acted like they weren’t even there. They pretended to not hear what was going on there.
The "live" video streaming started and the hairdresser started chopping Nadia’s hair. Of course, there was a segment they did before that expressing their well wishes and all that stuff.
"Wait and see," Viviana whispered to Celine. "From today onward, they won’t have a chance to bully you, if you’re smart about it..."
The girl looked at Viviana with her eyes wide.
The live was going on and Ayla said that there were almost 50k live viewers. Viviana was stunned. Do this many people want to watch young girls cut their hair? But this too is fine to apply pressure later on.
And reading one of those comments, Ayla’s face went pale. Of course, that comment about colored or treated hair won’t be accepted for donation caused a stir between the two. The live streaming was going on, and Viviana saw how those two teenagers will react.
Comments after comments followed bashing the girls for making a show. Some even connected Hosea Donatello’s election campaign and that Nadia is trying to be doing this for show. One slammed her for being as nasty as her father.
It went on for almost three minutes.
Ayla looked at Viviana and Viviana shrugged. Of course, not many know that some accept colored hair. But she decided not to tell them right now.
Nadia asked Ayla to cut the feed. Ayla was seeing the statistics. The viewers count increased and her follower count reduced.
"I wanted to keep it for last for you guys..."Ayla said out of nowhere.
Celine was confused and Nadia was more confused. She looked pale and her eyes looked like they would fall down.
"Actually, I didn’t want to reveal much... But since we are here..." Ayla pitifully pressed her lips and her eyes filled with tears.
"My neighbor’s kid has cancer and she lost all her hair. We wanted to help her as her mother knows how to use colored hair..." Ayla lied fluently. Viviana could only get amused by this talent that’s budding in a teenager.
Wow! Future politician right here!
"We also have a friend who recently is going through chemo... So, in solidarity, me and Nadia...we are shaving our heads, "Ayla said and pressed her cheek with Nadia.
Nadia looked like she might faint, but she forced a smile.
Viviana looked at Celine’s phone. The comment section immediately filled with praises for the girls. Nadia almost stood up and left, but Ayla grabbed her and pressed her onto the seat.
"I’ll place the camera here... We’ll go through this together," Ayla held Nadia’s hand.
Nadia looked like her soul had left her body. But Viviana was exhilarated. It’s been a while since she’d been this happy.
Well, not a long while. She was happier in the morning after the kiss. This is grade B happiness compared to that happiness which was A+.
Viviana watched as both of those girls go bald. Celine cried.
Viviana held her hand. "Only you know why they started the live streaming. So, don’t get yourself bullied by them anymore," she said. "The more you bend, the more they try and stand on your back. Stand up," she said.
Celine’s eyes filled with tears.
"I know that won’t work," Viviana whispered. "Run. Just run. Don’t let them catch you. Throw stones at them. Distract them. Run. But never lose your goal. Eventually, they’ll find someone else to bully. As long as it’s not you..."
Viviana told the bullied girl.
Not everyone can stand up against their bullies. Not when the bullies are more powerful, and you are poor. She knew because she was one of the bullied. It never ended until Leona threw those stones at them.
The girl looked at her weirdly.
"I know... it’s not sound advice, is it?" Viviana smiled.
"No," the girl shook her head. "I understand."
