Chi Yue caught the photo and her face instantly turned pale.

Fu Rao didn’t miss her expression, and he said sarcastically, "Are you scared now? Why didn’t you think about the consequences when you were doing this?"

Chi Yue’s hand trembled as she held the photo.

It was a photo of her with Fu Rongyin.

It was taken the night she went to the bar to drown her sorrows after breaking up with Fu Rao.

She clung to Fu Rongyin’s arm like an octopus, almost plastering herself against him.

Her naturally flamboyant appearance, coupled with the alcohol, made her look like a vixen in the picture.

Most importantly, how had they been photographed?

Also, why had it only come out now?

"No words to say? I really didn’t expect you to be such a fickle woman!"

Chi Yue finally regained her composure and crumpled the photo in her palm, gripping it tightly.

"Fu Rao, these photos, who gave them to you?"

"Why, do you want to destroy these photos?"

Fu Rao’s voice grew even more sarcastic, "Isn’t it too late to think about destroying these photos now? I can receive them even when I’m not at home; people who are at home have probably received them long ago. Chi Yue, you don’t think the elders of the Fu Family will just let this go, do you?"

Chi Yue had calmed down by now.

The photos only showed her and Fu Rongyin at the bar; as long as she denied anything happened with Fu Rongyin, nobody could do anything.

Thus, she said, "I have nothing to do with Mr. Fu, a single photo proves nothing."

"Chi Yue, if you leave just like this today, you’ll never be able to go back."

Chi Yue turned around, "What do you mean?"

"Just what it says, I’ve already sent a copy of the photos to my grandparents. They are getting a divorce, and it’s a good distraction for them."

Chi Yue looked at him incredulously, "You’re insane! How can you spread such baseless accusations?"

"This is not baseless. If nothing had happened between you two, how could someone have taken a photo?"

Chi Yue trembled with anger, "Why are you being so unreasonable!"

"Correct, I am being unreasonable! Chi Yue, on that day, right after we broke up, you went to find my Fifth Uncle. You could have chosen anyone, why on earth did it have to be my Fifth Uncle?!"

Chi Yue took a deep breath, thinking to herself that she had been drunk at the time and only knew she wanted the man with the best demeanor in the place; little did she know it would be Fu Rongyin.

But, saying anything now was pointless.

"Do whatever you want, I need to go to work."

Fu Rao blocked her way, his gaze dark.

Chi Yue grew angry too, "What exactly do you want? If you keep this up, perhaps tomorrow you’ll receive photos of us together. I don’t care about being photographed, but think about yourself for once?"

Fu Rao sneered, "Now you’re considering my feelings? If you had thought about my feelings earlier, I would be marrying you right now."

"Stop joking, Fu Rao. You wouldn’t defy your family for me. If you really couldn’t marry anyone but me, you wouldn’t have married someone else the day after we broke up. We’re all adults here, let’s end this amicably."

Chi Yue grabbed her suitcase and walked away.

Fu Rao’s voice came from behind her, "And what about my Fifth Uncle? No matter what happened or didn’t happen between you two, as long as this photo spreads, you’ll be in trouble. Aren’t you afraid of the trouble?"

Without turning her head, Chi Yue said, "I have nothing to fear."
