Fu Rongyin’s face darkened even further, "Can I see it or not? If not, I’ll take the person away."

"What’s the rush? These things can’t be rushed."

Jiang Ye was speaking, but his hands were rapidly flipping through the documents.

After a while, he asked Chi Yue, "Have you undergone any treatment?"

Chi Yue: "Yes, I remembered quite a few things."

Jiang Ye looked at her, "Was it Nan Yuan who treated you? Tell me what you have recalled."

Chi Yue mentioned the things she had remembered, and when she spoke about having been in love with Nan Yuan, Fu Rongyin suddenly interjected with a sarcastic remark, "Last time was too lenient."

Jiang Ye glanced at him, "It wasn’t your turn to speak. Please remain silent. Miss Chi, do you know if these memories of yours are the whole truth?"

Chi Yue didn’t speak.

She was very aware that these were not the entire truth because several people had told her that it was Fu Rongyin she had been involved with, not Nan Yuan.

She didn’t dare mention this in front of Fu Rongyin.

Seeing that she didn’t speak, Jiang Ye packed up his notes, "Alright, let’s stop here for today."

Fu Rongyin frowned.

Jiang Ye explained, "I’ll go back and check some information to see if my judgment is correct."

Fu Rongyin immediately stood up, pulling Chi Yue and heading out.

"Where’s the thing I wanted?" Jiang Ye asked as he followed.

"Expecting a reward without doing anything? There’s no such good deal."

Jiang Ye laughed in annoyance, "Alright, you win."

When Fu Rongyin left, his mood was clearly worse than when he had arrived, the displeasure practically written on his face.

Chi Yue, hardly daring to breathe, silently sat in the passenger seat, already prepared to be used as a scapegoat for his frustration.

Unexpectedly, Fu Rongyin actually dropped her off at the entrance to her workplace.

And she noticed that the reporters below her studio had been cleared away.

"Not willing to get out of the car?" he said.

Chi Yue immediately pushed the door open, got out, slammed the door shut, and without looking back, headed up to her studio.

Fu Rongyin watched her back for a long while, then took out his phone and dialed a number.

After hanging up, he drove away.

It was in the afternoon when Chi Yue received a call from Nan Bingyu, informing her that Fu Rongyin and Nan Yuan were fighting again.

Nan Bingyu was crying on the phone.

"Do you think they are trying to kill themselves? It hasn’t been long since they last recovered, and now they’ve ended up in the hospital again. Do they think they’re invincible?"

Chi Yue also felt a headache coming, "Don’t cry, I’m coming right over."

Chi Yue packed up her things and rushed to the hospital. While waiting for the elevator, she overheard a patient in a wheelchair saying, "How many times do I need to tell you? I was hit while trying to break up the fight; I wasn’t fighting! It was Fifth Young Master Fu and the Nan Family son who were fighting. Why don’t you believe me?"

The woman retorted impatiently, "Who do you think you are, to witness their fight? Besides, why would they fight if they were fine?"

"How should I know? If you can, go ask them yourself..."

As the elevator door opened, Chi Yue didn’t join them but instead headed in a different direction.

Fu Hanyan also worked at this hospital. When Chi Yue arrived at the gynecology outpatient clinic to find Fu Hanyan, she happened to catch her at the end of her shift.

The two of them went down to the garden.

Fu Hanyan said, "It’s been a long time since we last had a chat like this. Did you come to the hospital to see my brother?"

Chi Yue: "No, I came to find you. Mr. Fu and Nan Yuan, don’t you ever feel like stopping them when they fight like this?"

"I never know when they are going to fight. I’m just as helpless."

Chi Yue said, "Nan Yuan has already told us about you and him. Xiao Yu has a temper, and if she knew Nan Yuan was fighting Mr. Fu over and over again because of you, she’d be very upset as well."

"Are you saying that my brother and Nan Yuan are fighting over me?"

"Isn’t that the case?"

Fu Hanyan’s expression became subtle, "Chi Yue, you might have misunderstood."
