Chi Yue left the restaurant and walked a good distance away before she hailed a cab on the roadside.

"What did she tell you?" he initiated.

"Ms. Xu said that you’re getting married and told me not to interact with you anymore."

"What else?"

"She also said that you and Xi Yihang are enemies. She said if I get close to him, you won’t let me off."

Fu Rongyin glanced at her upon hearing this, "Then you’re still daring enough to get in my car?"

"Would you have let me off if I didn’t get in the car?"

Fu Rongyin: "...No."

Chi Yue said, "Since I can’t get away either way, I might as well choose a slightly more comfortable way to die. I’m afraid of pain."

Fu Rongyin glanced at her, but did not expose her little ruse.

Once seated, Fu Rongyin introduced the man to Chi Yue, "This is the hypnosis master, Jiang Ye."

Chi Yue was surprised, "The international hypnosis master, Jiang Ye?"

Jiang Ye lifted his eyelids slightly, "Didn’t think you’d have heard of me."

"It was Nan Yuan who mentioned you."

"Huh, didn’t expect him to talk about me to others."

Hypnosis and psychology are inseparable; one leans more towards hypnosis, the other towards psychology.

"He quite admires you."

Jiang Ye gave a slight smirk and said to Fu Rongyin, "No wonder you’re so bothered. It seems their relationship is much better than you imagined."

Fu Rongyin did not display any emotional changes after hearing this, but Chi Yue sensitively noticed his gaze had darkened a bit.

"Cut the nonsense, let’s start," he said.

Jiang Ye glanced at Fu Rongyin again, but this time he didn’t say anything more.

He approached Chi Yue, "I heard you forgot about him?"

Jiang Ye chuckled lightly, "Seems you forgot quite thoroughly."
