Chi Yue had a headache, supporting her towards the guest room, "You go to sleep first, stop making a fuss."

Nan Bingyu tilted her chin, "Baby, don’t you want to sleep with me? When I got drunk before, I always slept in your bed. Are you disgusted with me now?"

Chi Yue was genuinely curious. Despite being so drunk that she was barely coherent, Nan Bingyu still remembered the past events, and her thought process was surprisingly clear.

Chi Yue said, "I want to sleep alone today. You go to the guest room."

As she spoke, she pushed Nan Bingyu towards the guest room.

Halfway there, Nan Bingyu suddenly stopped, "Wait, I think I hear a sound from the master bedroom."

The two of them paused, and Chi Yue heard the ringing of a cell phone coming from the master bedroom.

Chi Yue’s eyelid twitched, before she could react, Nan Bingyu had already pushed past her towards the master bedroom.

Nan Bingyu stood dumbfounded at the doorway, her bewildered eyes gaining a semblance of clarity.

"This... isn’t this Fu Rongyin?"

The worst part was that Fu Rongyin responded to her, "It’s me, do you need something?"

Chi Yue took advantage of Nan Bingyu’s momentary lack of response and forcefully pulled her into the guest room, locking the door.

"Yueyue, how... how is he here?"

Chi Yue said, "I didn’t get the chance to ask before you came over."

Nan Bingyu said, "Then go ask now."

Chi Yue said, "You lie down first. I’ll come tell you after I’ve asked."

Nan Bingyu obediently lay down.

Chi Yue stood beside her for a while, watching Nan Bingyu’s breath gradually become steady, before she left the room.

Fu Rongyin was still in her room, lying on her bed.

Chi Yue had given up; she went into the room, grabbed a blanket, and went to the living room, lying down on the couch.

Without further communication, they spent the night this way.

The next day, Chi Yue was woken up by the sound of the door closing.

She sat up and looked towards the master bedroom, where Fu Rongyin’s figure was no longer present. Presumably, it was he who had left just now.

As she was about to get up, she noticed a coat draped over her.

She had only covered herself with a blanket last night and didn’t take a coat. Thus, the coat must have been placed by Fu Rongyin.

Her feelings were complex for a moment.

After a simple wash-up, Chi Yue went to make breakfast, then called Nan Bingyu to get up.

Nan Bingyu looked at her with a blank face, "Yueyue, how did I end up here?"

Chi Yue said irritably, "That’s what I need to ask you. Why did you appear here?"

Nan Bingyu rubbed her temples, "I can’t remember clearly... I didn’t say anything last night, did I?"

"No."

Nan Bingyu was about to breathe a sigh of relief when Chi Yue continued, "Except that you were clamoring to sleep with me and calling me ’baby’."

Nan Bingyu’s expression fell apart, and she complained gloomily, "Why didn’t you wake me up?"

"It’s not too late to wake you up now. Get up, I’ve made your favorite breakfast."

After breakfast, Nan Bingyu and Chi Yue went to the hospital together.

Nan Yuan’s injuries were quite serious, and it would still take a few more days before he could be discharged.

Chi Yue suddenly remembered Fu Rongyin, who was also hospitalized. When he ran to her place last night, he seemed fine as if nothing had happened. Could it be that he had been discharged?
