"I’m not comfortable staying in the hospital; I prefer it here."

Chi Yue, lacking even the energy to smile, walked towards the main bedroom, "As you wish."

"You already know?"

"Know what?"

"Know that Nan Yuan and Xiao Yan have slept together."

Chi Yue’s footsteps faltered momentarily but she quickly continued to the room, "So what if I know? What difference does it make if I don’t?"

"Since you know, you should understand what you need to do."

Chi Yue had already entered the room, her voice sounding distant, irritating Fu Rongyin slightly as he furrowed his brows.

Chi Yue did not hear him speak, so she let it go.

After a busy night, all she wanted was to take a shower and get a good sleep.

After getting her pajamas, she turned around, only to see him leaning against the door frame, watching her—it was unclear for how long.

Chi Yue went numb with fright and glared back expressionlessly.

The man quietly watched her, saying nothing.

Chi Yue didn’t listen to him and closed the door in his face.

He spoke solemnly, "There’s an implicit rule between adult men and women, when a person of the opposite sex is in your home and you go take a shower, it’s essentially sending a signal..."

Before he could finish, the bathroom door opened, and Chi Yue emerged with a dark expression.

"Fu Rongyin, what exactly do you want!"

"You."

Chi Yue almost choked.

It wasn’t that she had never seen this man shameless before, but it was limited to the bedroom. This was the first time she saw him speak so seriously outside of it.
