Once home, Chi Yue asked Fu Rongyin to sit on the sofa, while she knelt on the couch to apply medicine to his wounds.

Fortunately, his injuries weren’t serious, with only two places where the skin was broken.

Fu Rongyin sat quietly beside her, letting her tend to his wounds.

Her touch was gentle, lightly scratching at his heart like a feather.

The moment Chi Yue finished cleaning up, he pulled her into his arms and kissed her dominantly.

Chi Yue, worried about hurting his wounds, tried to push him away, but as soon as her hand touched his abdomen, she heard him grunt in pain, startling her to jump off of him.

"What’s wrong?"

Fu Rongyin’s face had turned pale, "It’s nothing."

Chi Yue took advantage of his distraction to lift his shirt, and her vision went dark.

A large area of his abdomen had turned blue, and it looked alarming.

Chi Yue, with an angry face, pulled him up from the sofa, "Why didn’t you tell me your abdomen was injured?"

"I was testing your observational skills."

Chi Yue laughed out of anger, "How could I observe it with your clothes in the way?"

Fu Rongyin said earnestly, "I don’t wear clothes when I sleep."

Chi Yue was so annoyed that she didn’t want to talk to him.

Even with such injuries, he still had that kind of thing on his mind.

In the end, Chi Yue took Fu Rongyin to the hospital, and after a half-night ordeal, once the doctor confirmed it was a soft tissue injury, he suggested hospital observation.

Fu Rongyin would not agree to be hospitalized, it was only when Chi Yue insisted and wouldn’t let him go that he finally gave in and stayed.
