Entangled with My Cousin's Fiancé
Chapter 89: Is She Pregnant?

Chapter 89: Chapter 89: Is She Pregnant?

"I’m sorry, I mistook you for someone else."

The woman turned around, and Yolanda Greenwood realized she was not Lola Gold.

The two had similar silhouettes and eyes, both strikingly beautiful, but their auras were distinctly different.

Lola Gold usually went makeup-free, blessed with a divine beauty that had charmed many a young man during her university days.

The woman before her, however, clearly came from a wealthy background, a formidable figure with meticulously applied makeup and a flawless smile, adorned with expensively crafted necklaces, rings, and earrings, all perfectly suited.

She nodded politely to Yolanda Greenwood and left.

Upon returning, Yolanda Greenwood curiously asked Lola Gold, "Do you have any super-rich cousins or something?"

"No," Lola replied crisply, "Our family has been dirt poor for generations."

Yolanda Greenwood fell silent and didn’t bring up the woman again, dismissing it as a coincidence.

She had no appetite for lunch. Despite being famished, she could barely eat anything—whatever she ate, she threw up, and she felt utterly awful.

By evening, Lola Gold could no longer bear it, "Yolanda, maybe I should take you to the hospital for a check-up, you can’t go on like this."

"It’s nothing." Yolanda Greenwood forced a smile, "I’m just too worried about Grandpa."

"You can’t do that. You’re neglecting your own life while worrying about your grandfather," Lola insisted, pulling her, "Come on, let’s go to the hospital."

"Really, it’s nothing." But Yolanda Greenwood lacked the strength to resist Lola Gold.

"Lola..." Suddenly, her eyes reddened, on the verge of tears.

"Oh no, don’t cry," Lola said frantically, grabbing tissues, "You really are like a child, crying just because you don’t want to go to the doctor."

Yolanda Greenwood laughed through her tears and shook her head gently, "Lola, I’ll listen to you, I’ll go to the hospital."

"Really?" Lola’s furrowed brow finally smoothed.

"Yeah," Yolanda Greenwood nodded, then pulled Lola to sit down, "We’ll go tomorrow."

"You want to delay another night?" Lola expressed her dissatisfaction.

"Tomorrow..." Yolanda Greenwood sighed, handing her phone to Lola, "After I finish the procedures with Cooper Coldson, I’ll go with you to the hospital."

Lola Gold took the phone and saw a message from Cooper Coldson.

"Tomorrow at 9 AM, meet at the entrance of the Civil Affairs Office, bring your ID."

Lola’s nose tingled, and she hugged Yolanda Greenwood tightly, "Good riddance. The sooner you distance yourself from that kind of man, the better."

"Yes, I know," Yolanda Greenwood sniffed, struggling to hold back her tears.

"Then what would you like to eat? I’ll make you something or else I’m afraid you won’t be able to go tomorrow." Lola got up to start preparing.

Yolanda Greenwood didn’t actually have any issues; her mood was just exceptionally low, not only because of the impending divorce from Cooper Coldson but also because of Old Master Coldson’s illness, and Gemma Morgan.

It felt as if everything was crowding into her life all at once, overwhelming her.

Eventually, Yolanda Greenwood simply had some millet porridge and went to bed early.

She felt she really needed to go to the hospital tomorrow; her period was over a month late.

That night, Yolanda Greenwood slept restlessly, her dreams bizarre and fragmented; she even dreamt she became a mother.

But even in her dreams, everything was harsh—there was always a thick fog separating her from her child, visible yet untouchable.

Yolanda Greenwood awoke abruptly, sweating profusely.

"Having a nightmare?" Lola Gold mumbled sleepily.

"Yes." Yolanda Greenwood sat blankly for a while; as she got out of bed, a wave of dizziness hit her, nearly causing her to fall.

Lola Gold reacted quickly to support her, "Yolanda, are you really okay? Your face looks worse than a dead person’s right now."

"Stop it, Lola!" Yolanda Greenwood weakly pulled away from Lola Gold’s support.

No matter what, she had to go through with the divorce today; otherwise, she felt like she would go insane from the constant turmoil.

Lola followed Yolanda out of the bedroom, watching as she sat on the sofa, her steps seemed unsteady.

In the end, unable to persuade her otherwise, Lola made a cup of honey water for Yolanda.

Yolanda, holding back nausea, drank it, gathered her things, and just as she was opening the door, she felt something was off.

Suddenly, everything went black, and she fainted.

"Yolanda!" Lola was terrified. She rushed over and tried to shake her awake, but Yolanda wouldn’t respond, "Yolanda, wake up, please don’t scare me."

She dragged Yolanda back to the room, crying as she went to look for her phone, only to see Yolanda’s phone ringing.

She glanced at the caller ID: Noah Coldson.

Lola didn’t know him, but she answered anyway.

"Do you want to speak to Grandpa? I’ll give him the phone." A man’s deep voice came from the other side.

Lola, in tears, said, "Yolanda has fainted."

"Give me the address, I’m coming right now." Noah Coldson hung up and rushed outside, just as Cooper Coldson was also about to leave.

"Where are you going, big brother?" Cooper Coldson was preparing to go to the Civil Affairs Office to finalize the divorce with Yolanda.

Noah Coldson gave him a cold glance and, without answering, hurried away.

He quickly found Lola’s address and, upon entering, saw Yolanda lying in a pool of blood.

Noah’s face turned several shades paler, "What happened?"

"I don’t know," Lola was covered in blood, her hands too, crying inconsolably, "She has been depressed lately, not eating well, always nauseous and vomiting. This morning, she drank some honey water and was preparing to leave, but she fainted at the door."

After dragging Yolanda inside earlier, she had gone to change clothes, planning to go to the hospital together.

But when she came out after changing, she found Yolanda lying in a pool of blood and collapsed to the ground in fright.

"Okay, don’t cry now." Noah quickly calmed down; he had learned some medical skills in the military.

He quickly checked Yolanda and asked Lola, "Is she pregnant?"

Pregnant?

Lola shook her head unconsciously, "I don’t know. She shouldn’t be, she was... she was going to get a divorce today."

She didn’t notice that upon hearing the word "divorce," a layer of frost covered Noah’s face.

Just then, Yolanda’s phone rang again; it was Cooper calling.

Noah took the phone and turned it off.

"Let’s go to the hospital." Noah took a deep breath and carefully lifted Yolanda horizontally.

His movements were extremely gentle, a stark contrast to his stern appearance.

Lola was slightly shocked; she had never heard Yolanda mention Noah, yet here he was, covered in blood, still treating Yolanda like a precious treasure.

Grabbing some tissues, she wiped the blood off her body while following Noah.

They went downstairs, and Lola noticed a car not far away—it was a car that Christopher Coldson also owned, worth several million.

If Yolanda woke up, she would never live with the thought of dirtying such an expensive car.

Lola ran over quickly, "Mr. Coldson, let me go out and hail a cab instead!"
