Chapter 79: Chapter 79 Cooper Coldson and Christopher Coldson Start Fighting

"No matter who’s interested, they can never be together."

Cooper Coldson dropped the sentence and stormed off.

He returned to the villa and after much thought, he couldn’t resist calling Yolanda Greenwood.

"Come home now."

Home?

Yolanda didn’t quite understand his meaning, "Which home?"

"The villa here!" Cooper grinding his teeth.

"Heh..." Yolanda chuckled, "You’re mistaken, that’s not my home."

She was about to hang up.

"Come back right now and sign the divorce papers!" Tonight, Cooper had to see Yolanda.

"Can’t it wait till tomorrow?" Yolanda hesitated, "It’s quite late now."

"I have to go out of town tomorrow, come over now." Cooper quickly hung up the phone.

"Damn man! Autocrat!" Yolanda cursed at the phone but still decided to go, bringing her paintings along.

Since Christopher Coldson was unwilling to help, she could only ask Cooper.

An hour later, Yolanda appeared in the villa’s living room.

"Mrs. Coldson!" Jasmine King was very happy.

"You go rest first, we have something to talk about." Cooper sent Jasmine away.

He sat on the couch, legs crossed, watching Yolanda with a cold gaze that seemed to penetrate.

Yolanda put down her paintings and went straight to the point, "Where’s the divorce agreement?"

"What’s your relationship with Christopher Coldson?" Cooper countered instead of answering.

"Uncle?" Yolanda felt baffled, "What relationship do we have?"

Cooper uncrossed his legs, leaned forward, inching closer to Yolanda, "Why do you keep meeting him secretly over and over again?"

Yolanda laughed in disbelief, "Cooper, you haven’t been following me, have you?"

Cooper snorted, "I’m not that bored."

"If you know you’re bored, then don’t talk about things that cause misunderstandings." Yolanda puffed up in anger, "Where’s the agreement? I’ll sign it and leave."

"What did I say that caused misunderstandings?" Cooper didn’t understand.

Yolanda tugged at the corner of her mouth, "You questioning me about seeing other men right now sounds exactly like you’re jealous."

"Jealous? You wish." Cooper warned her with a glance, "I’m just reminding you, you and Christopher have no chance, don’t waste your effort."

Yolanda was furious.

"Cooper, do you have some kind of problem?"

"Who I might or might not end up with, what’s that to you?"

"Bring out the divorce papers, I’ll sign them and we’ll have no relation anymore, got it? It’s none of your business!"

Cooper bit his teeth, "I couldn’t care less about you, but Christopher is part of the Coldson Family, I can’t just ignore it."

"Then go find him, don’t bother me." Yolanda shouted.

"Are you saying I’m bothering you?" Cooper blurted out.

Both paused briefly.

Cooper stood up, preparing to leave, "Regardless, we were married for a year, you should know what kind of person Christopher is, I advise you not to develop feelings for him, or you’ll only get hurt."

Yolanda genuinely laughed.

A man who constantly hurt her was warning her about getting hurt by someone else?

"It’s my business, not yours." She had no desire to argue further, "Where is the agreement finally?"

"I’ll call you when I’ve drafted it." Cooper left with long strides.

"Cooper, you bastard, did you call me here just to play games with me?" Yolanda was furious, grabbing a pillow and throwing it, missing him.

Cooper turned back and warned her, "Be mindful, this is my house."

"Bastard!" Yolanda, holding her paintings, stormed out.

She must be insane to think that Cooper would help; that damn man only bullied her.

Cooper’s voice traveled from behind, "I’ll have the driver take you."

"No need." Yolanda loudly refused.

However, ten minutes later, she was sitting in Cooper’s car.

Might as well take advantage if it’s free!

Sitting in the car, recalling Cooper questioning her about her uncle, Yolanda wiped away tears.

After all this time, this man still had absolutely no trust in her.

Utterly despicable!

It seemed she’d have to find the time herself to deliver Grandpa’s painting.

On Saturday, Yolanda attended Jenny Reyes’s wedding.

The weather was exceptional; the wedding didn’t invite many people - it was simple but heartfelt, clearly well thought out by Ryan Sterling.

The two newlyweds kept shallow smiles on their faces, glancing at each other from time to time, obviously very happy.

It was Yolanda’s first time at a wedding, and several times during the occasion, she couldn’t help but shed tears.

After the banquet, she prepared to leave and Ryan Sterling and Jenny Reyes walked her out.

"Sister Reyes, truly congratulations." Yolanda wasn’t sure if this was her first time saying these words today, but she genuinely felt happy for Jenny Reyes.

"Silly girl!" Jenny Reyes didn’t know much about Yolanda’s personal issues, but she had some guesses, "You’ll also find happiness, trust Sister Reyes."

Escorted to the door, Ryan Sterling expressed a desire to talk to Yolanda alone.

"Alright, then you guys talk, I’ll go back and entertain the guests first." Jenny Reyes left first.

Yolanda felt a bit awkward seeing Ryan Sterling, their interactions not frequent, she didn’t know what he wanted to discuss.

"How’s your hand?" Ryan Sterling asked.

"Pretty good." Yolanda smiled, "Aside from not being able to paint, it’s almost unaffected."

"That’s good." Ryan Sterling observed the girl’s discomfort and shook his head, "Don’t be nervous, I’m not here to treat you."

Yolanda scratched her head shyly.

"Actually, I want to thank you, I might get scolded for saying this but..."

Ryan Sterling looked at Yolanda’s right hand, "If your hand hadn’t been injured, Jenny wouldn’t have contacted me again, and we wouldn’t have... this today."

So that was it.

Yolanda chuckled, "Dr. Sterling, you’re too polite, it’s also because you two were destined."

"Indeed." Ryan Sterling moved a bit closer, "Actually, Jenny doesn’t know, she always thought we met through a matchmaking process, but actually, it was love at first sight for me."

"Oh?" Yolanda widened her eyes in surprise.

Ryan Sterling nodded confidently, "You have to keep this a secret for me, she previously came to the hospital for a checkup, and I saw her then, so..."

Yolanda suddenly realized, "So the later matchmaking wasn’t a coincidence but a long-held plan by you."

Ryan Sterling showed a successful smile, then cautioned Yolanda, "This is our secret, I don’t want Jenny to know how pitiful I am."

"That’s not pitiful." Yolanda was moved, "Dr. Sterling, congratulations, you and Sister Reyes will definitely be happy."

On the way back, Yolanda was filled with emotions.

So, someone really could be loved so earnestly, she was truly envious of Jenny Reyes.

Approaching Lola Gold’s place, she suddenly received a WeChat message from Lola.

[Yolanda, where are you? Come back quickly, Cooper and Christopher Coldson are fighting, right downstairs of my house!]
