"Rashes on the back?" Yolanda had just bathed Little Gabriel earlier, and he was fine, "Is it serious?"

"It’s alright." Cooper didn’t want her to worry too much, "But I’ve already taken Gabriel to the hospital. It’s nothing serious, don’t worry."

"Which hospital? I’ll go over right away." Yolanda couldn’t possibly not be worried.

"Huh?" Cooper thought of Isabella’s angry look and carefully refused, "No need, really, it’s nothing. You don’t have to..."

"Cooper, tell me, which hospital?" Yolanda was extremely anxious.

"Alright." Cooper had no choice but to tell Yolanda which hospital they were at. The call soon ended.

Yolanda told Little Ella to stay in the bedroom with her dad and hurriedly went out the door.

At the hospital, Isabella had learned that Little Ella was fine and that only Little Gabriel was injured; she was furious, "Cooper, what did I say? Yolanda doesn’t have any sense of responsibility as a mother to Gabriel, why don’t you believe me?"

"I didn’t, it wasn’t me," Yolanda shook her head, "I wouldn’t hurt Gabriel, I wouldn’t..."

Cooper stepped forward, holding Isabella back, "Mom, what are you doing? How can you hit someone?"

He looked worriedly at Yolanda, "Yolanda, are you okay?"

"Where’s Gabriel? Is he alright?" Yolanda was only concerned about seeing Little Gabriel and couldn’t care about her own safety.

"He’s fine." Cooper looked at Noah, "Bro, you take Yolanda to see Gabriel, I’ll calm mom down."

Noah nodded and looked at Yolanda with pity, "Come on, Yolanda, I’ll take you to see Gabriel."

"Yolanda, what right do you have to see Gabriel? You don’t deserve to be his mother; you abandoned him long ago. Just get out!" Isabella shouted, disregarding her appearance.

She was truly angry; Yolanda had promised to stay away from Cooper and Little Gabriel, yet she kept appearing. Such a faithless woman was simply infuriating.

She absolutely couldn’t just watch as Yolanda destroyed Cooper once again, absolutely not!

"Mom, that’s enough, this is a hospital." Cooper was also a bit angry, pulling Isabella away.

Isabella struggled in vain, looking angrily at Cooper, "Cooper, clear your mind. Maybe you owe her from the past, but three years of heartbreak for her is enough."

"It’s not enough, I’ll never repay what I owe her." Cooper said coldly, recalling Isabella’s earlier words, he then questioned, "Mom, you’ve met Yolanda secretly, haven’t you?"

Isabella evasively shifted her gaze.

"What did you say to her?" Cooper asked urgently.

Isabella remained silent.

Cooper was in a hurry, shaking Isabella’s shoulders, "Mom, what exactly did you say to Yolanda? Are you trying to ruin me?"

"Am I the one ruining you?" Isabella looked at her son incredulously, "Cooper, don’t forget, who turned you into what you are today, it’s always been Yolanda who’ve been trying to ruin you."

She got angrier as she spoke, "And besides, she clearly promised me not to reunite with you, to stay far from you and Gabriel, yet what did she do? She broke her word, it’s utterly vile."

Cooper couldn’t believe what he heard, he loosened his grip on Isabella and took a step back, "Mom, you knew how much I missed Yolanda these three years, how... how could you do such a thing?"

"Cooper, don’t misunderstand mom," Isabella noticed the disappointment in her son’s eyes and anxiously explained, "Mom is also doing this for your own good, Cooper, Yolanda is already remarried, she has already forgotten you. Even if one day she remembers, do you think she would forgive you?"

The light in Cooper’s eyes slowly extinguished.

"Cooper, knowing the outcome, why do you still want to hurt yourself?" Isabella clutched Cooper’s arm tightly, "Cooper, now that you know both she and Ella are alive, just let go."

Cooper’s body involuntarily leaned back, and he helplessly collapsed against the wall, "Let go? Is it that easy?"

If he could convince himself to let go, he would have done so three years ago.

Isabella didn’t know that his younger son was already dead; if he hadn’t constantly told himself that Yolanda was still alive, he would have long gone to join her.

Now asking him to give up was like asking for his life.

"Cooper," Isabella saw Cooper’s lifeless expression and immediately grieved, tears streaming down as she rushed forward to hold his head, "My son, my poor son!"

"Mom, we’ve wronged Yolanda too much," Cooper looked at Isabella with tearful eyes, "Promise me, don’t hurt her anymore, alright?"

"Alright, alright." Isabella agreed while crying, she never realized how deeply Cooper loved Yolanda. She thought time had made Cooper forget everything, but much to her surprise, he never forgot; he just remembered it in another way.

Thinking of Cooper being covered in injuries pained her deeply, and she could only repeatedly promise him, "Alright, mom promises you, mom promises you."
