Chapter 293: Chapter 293: Those Who Are Not Loved Are Jokes

Smith subconsciously looked toward Noah Coldson, "Mr. Coldson, won’t you join the photo?"

"Huh?" Noah Coldson came back to his senses, trying to ignore the discomfort in his heart and nonchalantly said, "I’m not taking part, just her alone is fine."

"But if you took the photo together..." Smith still wanted to insist, feeling that the photo would definitely look better with Noah Coldson and Yolanda Greenwood together.

"It’s really not necessary." Yolanda Greenwood stood up, interrupting her, "Could you please help me find an outfit? I’ll change into it in a moment."

"Okay, Miss Greenwood, wait here, I’ll come soon to take you over." Smith quickly glanced at both of them.

She faintly felt that something was off between the two.

She had also vaguely heard what Cooper Coldson had said earlier. Could it be that the Mr. Coldson staying isn’t the father of the child?

"Big brother, sorry, but Cooper seemed to doubt whether the child is really his," Yolanda Greenwood said apologetically to Noah Coldson, "I wanted to dispel his thoughts, which is why I purposely suggested the joint photo."

Noah Coldson forced a smile, "It’s alright, I obviously know. Don’t worry about me, I’m really fine."

"If you want to join the photo later, after the maternity shoot, we can also take a group photo," Yolanda Greenwood added as if possessed by a spur-of-the-moment idea, "We can call Lola and take a photo with the three of us."

"No need, I also don’t like taking photos," Noah Coldson motioned Yolanda Greenwood not to worry about him, "You just enjoy the shoot."

Soon, Smith returned and took Yolanda Greenwood to change clothes.

Melissa Greenwood, after changing, came back and saw that Yolanda wasn’t there, so she asked Little May to wait at the door while she spoke a few words to Noah Coldson.

"Okay, May will be at the door, she won’t run around." Little May greeted Noah Coldson and obediently went out.

Melissa Greenwood walked over to Noah Coldson with a light laugh, "You and I are indeed both unfortunate souls."

"I don’t understand what you mean." Noah Coldson casually picked up a magazine and sat on the sofa to read.

"Don’t understand?" Melissa Greenwood chuckled, "Let me clarify a bit more then, both of us are jokes. Those unloved are always the butt of the joke."

Noah Coldson paused while flipping through the magazine, and then quickly resumed as usual.

"What do you think Cooper will do?"

"What do you mean what will he do?" Noah Coldson still felt uneasy, completely distracted.

"Cooper, now knowing that the child in Yolanda’s belly is his, what do you think he will do?" Melissa Greenwood was somewhat critical.

Despite having aligned with Noah Coldson from a long time, the things he was willing to do were really too few, and she could not bear to completely fall out with him.

She always felt, as long as Noah Coldson loved Yolanda, it was already a great help to her.

Noah Coldson continued flipping through the magazine, "I don’t care what he will do, but as long as Yolanda does not want it, this child has nothing to do with him."

"Heh, don’t underestimate your brother too much," Melissa Greenwood added sarcastically at the end, "But, I don’t mind raising someone else’s child, especially Yolanda’s child..."

She silently clenched her teeth, "I will definitely take good care of it."

Noah Coldson abruptly closed the book, his face dark as he looked at her, "I’m warning you to stay away from Yolanda and the child."

"Tsk, tsk, I’m so scared," Melissa Greenwood said carelessly, "I also warn you, if Yolanda wants to start over with Cooper, I’m capable of anything."

With that, she turned and left and soon took Little May away.

Noah Coldson rubbed his temples, clearly agitated. Yolanda still didn’t want to accept him, and he didn’t know what to do.

After changing clothes, Yolanda came out and saw a figure in a wedding dress not far away, whose silhouette looked very familiar.

She tentatively called out, "Lola?"

The person turned around, and it indeed was Lola Gold.

"Wow, Lola, this wedding dress is so beautiful and it suits you so well," Yolanda Greenwood walked up, her face filled with awe.

"Really? I like it too," Lola Gold lifted the hem of the dress and twirled in front of the mirror.

"Do you want to take a photo?" Yolanda picked up her phone.

"Miss Greenwood," Smith immediately reminded her, "if this lady isn’t getting a photoshoot, our shop does not allow trying on dresses and taking your own pictures."

Upon hearing this, Lola Gold laughed and said, "It’s okay, Yolanda, let’s not take photos, I’m just trying it on."

She turned around, reluctantly looking at herself in the mirror. She thought this was her first time wearing a wedding dress and perhaps also the last.

She wanted to keep the image of herself as a bride in her mind.

"Lola, do you want to do the photoshoot?" Yolanda sensed her thoughts and quickly asked.

"No need, it’s too much trouble." Lola Gold knew this shop was definitely not cheap, and she didn’t want to spend the money.

"Let’s do it," Noah Coldson, who had walked over unnoticed, said to Smith, "We’ll take another set of wedding photos, just for the bride."

"Sure, I’ll call the makeup artist over," Smith was delighted, having opened two jobs at once, she didn’t have to worry about her performance this month.

"How much is it?" Yolanda asked Noah, "I’ll transfer it to you."

Noah pretended to be annoyed, "If you keep being formal with me, I’m really going to be upset."

"Then, after we’re done here, I’ll treat you both to a meal," Lola quickly said.

"Deal," Noah quickly agreed.

When it was Yolanda’s turn to take photos, Lola spoke to Noah, "Big brother, I’ll transfer the money to you when I get back."

"No need, why are you being formal with me?" Noah looked at her, speechless.

"Big brother is spending money on Yolanda because he’s pursuing her, and as Yolanda’s best friend, I shouldn’t take advantage of this. Don’t worry, I can still afford this set."

Lola Gold was sensible and didn’t want to spend Noah’s money without reason.

"Suit yourself," Noah didn’t insist, knowing that both Yolanda and Lola were good girls who wouldn’t covet others’ money.

Lola instantly felt much happier, took a selfie, and posted it on her social circle with the caption: "Wishing myself happiness!"

By the time Yolanda and Lola had finished, it was already noon, and the three went to have hotpot together. Lola’s appetite was still not great, she didn’t eat much, but at least she wasn’t constantly throwing up.

After the meal, Noah dropped the two off at the entrance of their apartment complex.

"Big brother, won’t you come up for a while?" Lola invited.

"No, the holiday is almost over, I need to go back and prepare for work," Noah declined for the first time, still feeling somewhat uneasy.

"Big brother, drive safely," Yolanda waved her hand.

The two watched Noah’s car disappear from view before turning to walk back.

"Big brother seems to be in a bad mood," Lola nudged Yolanda’s arm, "He probably wanted to do the photoshoot with you today."

How could Yolanda not know, she sighed softly, "It’s all my fault."

"Yolanda, honestly, after all this time, don’t you have any feelings for big brother?" Lola couldn’t help but ask.

Yolanda looked down, "Feelings? Familial love? Friendship? Or romantic love?"

Lola was speechless, "Don’t play dumb with me, don’t you have any romantic feelings for big brother?"
