Chapter 130: Chapter 130: Uncle, Are You Still a Virgin?
Yolanda Greenwood waited outside for half an hour before the restroom door finally opened.
She immediately went up to meet Lola Gold, and as soon as she saw her, tears started to fall.
She had known Lola Gold for over a decade since middle school, and in her eyes, Lola was like a flawless piece of beautiful jade.
Sparkling, translucent, beautiful... These all described Lola, but for the first time, Yolanda saw the words "broken" apply.
She rushed forward and hugged Lola tightly, her voice was choked up, yet she didn’t know what to say.
Lola stood stiffly, her tone flat as she said, "I just feel like I can’t get clean."
But Yolanda could clearly see the skin Lola had exposed was all exceptionally red, obviously scrubbed hard for a long time.
That bastard Enzo Harper really deserved to die!
She understood that Jonathan Greenwood meant Lola had not been assaulted, but who could truly understand the mental and physical torment Lola had endured?
"Lola," Yolanda knew she couldn’t break down now, she had to support Lola, "It’s not you who is unclean, it’s that beast!"
Lola’s eyes flickered, her gaze towards Yolanda still lifeless, "But he touched me."
She bitterly smiled, "I feel disgust at myself too."
"No, that’s not true," Yolanda shook her head desperately, Lola’s state frightening her, she shook Lola, "Cry it out, cry it out."
Just like the day she had seen Sunny Coldson crying, it somehow made Yolanda feel a bit more assured.
Now the way Lola looked really scared her.
Lola shook her head, "I can’t cry, it’s like my tears have dried up."
At that moment, there was a knock on the door, startling Lola, and she looked terrified.
Yolanda quickly helped her sit on the sofa and went to open the door herself.
Jonathan Greenwood was holding a set of clothes, "For Miss Gold."
"Thank you." Yolanda took the clothes and said to Jonathan, "You can go back, I’ll stay here with my friend."
She turned to George Ross, "You go back too, don’t tell Grandma and Aunt Ross."
"I’m not going back, I’ll wait here," George Ross refused to leave, "Yolanda, can I see Lola? I’m really worried about her."
Yolanda shook her head.
"Then I’ll wait here," George Ross let some tears fall, "Something like this happened, I also have responsibilities, I owe Lola an apology, I can’t face going back alone."
"Whatever then," Yolanda closed the door.
Whether George Ross had participated in the event, she wasn’t sure, but he might have known about it and purposely led Yolanda away.
However, George Ross probably didn’t expect Enzo Harper to be so bold.
Yolanda brought over the clothes and poured a glass of water for Lola, "Have some water."
In a while, Lola seemed to be doing better, she forced a smile, "Don’t worry, I’m okay."
How could Yolanda not worry, she gently patted Lola’s arm.
They sat in silence, watching as it gradually grew darker outside.
Lola picked up the clothes, "It’s getting late, I’ll change and then we can go back."
"Don’t you want to sit for a while longer?" Yolanda also stood up, "Or tell your family you won’t be going back tonight?"
"No need, I’m alright now," Lola shook her head and went straight to the restroom.
Yolanda sighed deeply, knowing that she could not let her family find out about this. Thinking about Lola having to pretend nothing happened when she got back made her heart ache.
Soon, Lola changed into the clothes, and clearly, that Jonathan Greenwood was no ordinary person, as he had brought a high-necked sweater that covered the marks on Lola’s neck.
Lola strained to smile, "How is it? I look pretty nice in this, and it looks like an expensive sweater too."
"Beautiful," Yolanda found it almost too hard to speak.
They went outside and indeed saw George Ross was still there.
He clearly had been squatting for a long time, he stumbled as he stood up, nearly falling.
"Are you okay?" He leaned against the wall, looking Lola over from top to bottom with great nervousness.
"I’m fine," Lola shook her head.
George Ross asked again, "That Enzo Harper didn’t do anything to you..."
"Uncle!" Yolanda glared at George Ross, thinking he really wasn’t being sensible.
"Just asking, what’s the harm? She’s still unmarried, if someone really..." Sensing Yolanda’s anger, George Ross consciously shut his mouth.
"Nothing happened," Lola quickly said, and strode outside.
"That’s good, that’s good," George Ross seemed relieved, limping behind, "I tell you, men nowadays, especially successful ones, are cunning. If they know you are not a virgin..."
Yolanda really couldn’t stand to listen any longer, "Uncle, can you just be quiet for a while?"
"Alright, alright, I’ll stop," George Ross gave Yolanda a meaningful look, "You probably don’t like hearing this."
His words obviously hinted at Yolanda’s divorce.
Ahead, Lola stopped and looked back coldly at George Ross, "Uncle, are you still a virgin?"
George Ross visibly flinched, not expecting Lola to confront him directly.
"Of... Of course not," he said somewhat proudly, "Men are different from women, we don’t have to..."
"How long can you last?" Lola questioned again, "If you can’t last an hour, women won’t like that."
George Ross’s face turned quite a spectacle with those few words.
Finally, he scolded with a red face, "Lola, you’re a young lady, how can you talk about these things in public?"
"Young lady?" Lola sneered twice, "That time has long passed."
She turned and pulled Yolanda away.
George Ross stood gaping behind them, witnessing his niece’s combative spirit for the first time. The words "one hour" lingered in his mind.
How can anyone last an hour?
Once they were in the car, he tried to save a bit of face.
"Actually, you guys are still young, don’t let certain things you read online brainwash you. Men nowadays have a lot of life stress... cough cough..." he justified himself, "What one hour, that’s just boasting."
Lola nudged Yolanda in the backseat, "Did your ex-husband last an hour?"
Yolanda’s cheeks reddened, and she actually recalled for a moment—she and Cooper Coldson had been intimate twice, and indeed, both times had lasted over an hour.
She honestly nodded her head.
Lola immediately laughed.
Up front, George Ross was furious and didn’t speak for the rest of the trip.
Yolanda didn’t understand what Lola found so amusing, and secretly texted her, [What’s up? What are you laughing about?]
[Babe, I was just trying to get you to play along with me, who knew you’d take it seriously.]
Trying to suppress her laughter, Lola replied, [Well, one can see that the Coldson’s have good genes.]
Yolanda paused before realizing, it seemed Christopher Coldson was quite formidable too.
