Chapter 1396: Chapter 1393: Attentive and Gentle, It Doesn’t Seem Like Aidan Lucas Anymore (Extra 1)

As soon as Lily walked into the restaurant, she was practically blinded by the sight before her.

Ethan Wilson was sitting in the main seat, wearing a black knitted sweater, exuding an air of languid sexiness.

His hair, usually slicked back with gel when dressed in formal attire, now hung softly over his forehead.

In this state, he appeared more relaxed and homely and lost some of his usual firm and stern demeanor.

Next to him sat another tall figure.

David Redington wore a neatly tailored white shirt with the top two buttons undone and no tie, looking noble and aloof, his expression not particularly pleasant.

His short, compliant black hair fell over his forehead, partially hiding those deep blue eyes and obscuring his true feelings.

Ethan Wilson personally served a bowl of crab soup next to David, "Try this, see if it suits your taste."

The man, typically very cold toward others, now wore a smile on his face.

After pushing the crab soup toward David, he rested his chin on his hand, watching David, "Hurry and eat, it won’t taste good cold."

David didn’t even lift his eyelid, but his deep blue eyes trembled slightly.

Multiple thoughts flashed through his mind.

David even wondered if this might be Ethan Wilson’s scheme to push him away, to remove the obstacles between him and Lily and reconcile with her?

"Why aren’t you eating? Doesn’t it suit your taste?" Ethan Wilson frowned slightly, picked up a spoon, and tasted it from his bowl.

"It’s light and tasty, should be to your liking," he said, putting down the spoon and looking at David with concern, "Brother-in-law, are you feeling unwell?"

"Who is your brother-in-law!" Finally reacting, David glared fiercely at Ethan.

"..." Ethan was slightly taken aback.

Lily, worried Ethan might lose his temper, was about to intervene when she saw him suppress the smile in his eyes and said respectfully, "Brother David, are you unwell? Should I call someone to check on you?"

"You..." David’s handsome and cold blue eyes looked at Ethan somewhat irritably.

He thought Ethan must be sick, coming to knock on his door so early in the morning to invite him downstairs for breakfast.

David initially thought he had endured a few days and was about to lose his patience to retaliate.

Yet, upon coming downstairs, Ethan had been continuously smiling, even pleasing him with an extremely gentle and attentive manner.

This Ethan seemed like someone else in disguise!

"Don’t call me that. I’m not your brother!" David was nearly infuriated by Ethan.

"You are Lily’s brother, naturally you are my brother," Ethan, unfazed by David’s angry face, lightly refused his request with a smile.

"No matter what, I cannot neglect Lily’s relative. I look forward to learning from Brother David in the future." Ethan smiled gently, hardly resembling his real self.

Standing by the door, Lily suddenly thought of something.

She immediately walked quickly toward Ethan.

"Ethan Wilson..."

"Lily..." Seeing Lily approaching, the man stood up.

Before Lily could even get close to him, he stepped forward, laughing lightly, and pulled her into his embrace.

"Why didn’t you sleep in? You woke up so early?"

He effortlessly picked up Lily and fearlessly covered those enticing lips of hers in front of David.

Amidst their lingering kiss, only one thought remained in Lily’s mind.

—It’s over, his "adorable in the morning" syndrome kicked in again!
