Chapter 1376: Chapter 1373: Abbie Helps Father, Father Is So Pitiful

"Daddy, what do you want Lulu to do?" the little dumpling asked Aidan Lucas with a confused look on her face.

Her peach blossom eyes, identical to Lily’s, twinkled, making Aidan Lucas’s heart melt.

He held his daughter, feeling a sense of elusive happiness welling up inside him.

But the thought that he hadn’t yet coaxed the child’s mother back darkened his deep black pupils slightly.

"Do you miss Mommy, Lulu?" the man coaxed gently.

"Yes, Lulu misses Mommy so much!"

"Since you miss her, how about Dad calls Mommy to ask her to come back, would that be okay?"

Hearing Dad’s words, Lulu’s beautiful little peach blossom eyes immediately lit up with excitement, "Yes! Lulu misses Mommy, Lulu wants to see Mom..."

Before she could finish, a voice suddenly interrupted.

"No—"

Abbie, with a cold expression, looked at the father and daughter embracing.

"Um... why not?" little Lulu pouted, her eyes brimming with tears.

She really missed her mother.

Aidan Lucas, standing nearby, glanced sideways at his youngest son.

Abbie had a pair of narrow, delicate blue eyes.

Those dazzling blue eyes, currently filled with some hostility, were staring intently at Aidan Lucas.

"Abbie, tell Daddy, why not?" Aidan Lucas did not frown as Abbie might have expected.

He asked patiently, his voice unusually magnetic and pleasant.

His eyes, remarkably similar to Abbie’s, narrowed slightly, his deep black pupils showing unmasked concern for his child.

From the children’s births to their growth, he had always been away from them.

Even the last time he hurried back, he did not have enough time to spend with them.

Aidan Lucas looked at the two little ones with nothing but love and guilt. Even though Abbie was clearly being provocative, he still looked at his son with extreme tenderness.

"Hmph, don’t think I’ll help you coax Mommy with Lulu!" Little Abbie pointed out without hesitation, revealing Aidan Lucas’s intent.

He wasn’t the unsuspecting Lulu; he could see right through the old man’s plan.

However, Aidan Lucas, upon hearing this, far from being annoyed, affectionately ruffled Abbie’s hair.

"Abbie is really smart, truly my son," said Aidan Lucas proudly.

Looking at Abbie’s resistant little face, the man was deeply moved.

He regretted that he had once thought that Abbie was a mixed-race child Lily had with another man.

This child could so insightfully read people’s hearts at such a young age, almost exactly like himself as a child.

Such an intelligent child could only be his, Aidan Lucas’s son.

Ignoring Abbie’s resistance, Aidan Lucas reached out and pulled Little Abbie into his embrace.

Now, with Lulu in his left arm and Abbie in his right, Aidan Lucas felt extremely fulfilled having been apart from the children for so long.

"Abbie is right, Daddy has indeed made mistakes that upset your mommy. So, Daddy wants Abbie and Lulu’s help to bring Mommy back. You wouldn’t want Daddy and Mommy to be apart, would you?"

"No, Lulu doesn’t want Daddy and Mommy to be apart!" Lulu immediately hugged Aidan Lucas’s neck, cooing.

She and Abbie had grown up without a Daddy, and now that they finally had him, she did not want to be separated from him again.

"Um, thank you, Lulu. Daddy also can’t bear to be apart from Lulu."

The man kissed Lulu’s little cheek and turned to look at Abbie, who was wearing a disdainful expression.

He softly said, "What about you, Abbie? If you don’t like Daddy, I can disappear for a while after coaxing Mommy back. But Daddy doesn’t like seeing your mommy unhappy. Can’t you help Daddy make Mommy happy together?"
