Chapter 623: Chapter 600: Do You Know How Much I Love You

His embrace was unimaginably warm, causing Cherish Turner to loiter. His words were like a warm current flowing into her body. He hugged her so tightly without causing her any pain. Deeply inhaling his scent, her heart eventually settled. She softly assured him, "I’m really fine. It will not happen again."

William Griffith gently patted her head, murmuring a soft "Mm".

The pair were lost in their embrace, oblivious to the others, making Yannis Griffith somewhat awkward.

Miss Jiang’s face was somewhat stained black. Busy taking care of Mother Rivers, she didn’t bother to wash up and still had some smudge marks on her. She looked flustered and stood still, as if in deep thought, her eyes flickering, unable to decide and showing restlessness.

Cherish walked over to Miss Jiang and took out a wet wipe to clean the smudges on her face, "Your mother is fine. Don’t worry."

Cherish held a friendly appreciation for Miss Jiang. They were not only subordinates but also friends. She remembered the good old days when the three of them would go shopping, have meal, and chit-chat together. It was really fun. Cherish, however, never expected that one day Miss Jiang would not stand by their side.

All of this made her not want to reflect too deeply, she didn’t want to face it.

Including the close-knit trio they had once been.

Standing in the doorway, Miss Jiang saw William Griffith and Cherish embraced, and heard their exchange. Even if she was naive, she could confirm that this man would never hurt Cherish. If the bomb wasn’t his doing, then there was only one answer left - the Johnson family.

At this point, it wouldn’t be surprising if the Johnson family chose to betray and threaten her.

Miss Jiang looked at Cherish, knowing that Cherish had been truly nice to her. She took the wet wipe from Cherish’s hand, gripping it tightly, "Can I still call you Sister Yvette?"

"Of course." Cherish said with a smile.

Miss Jiang bowed her head, making up her mind, "Sister Cherish, I’m sorry for what happened before. I don’t expect your forgiveness, I got what I deserved, but I have a favor to ask of you. Can you assure me that my family will be safe?"

Yannis Griffith spoke at the right time, "You can rest assured that they will not be harmed and I will help you move."

"Take it easy." Cherish patted the back of her hand, indicating her not to worry.

Miss Jiang bit her lip, showed a troubled face, thought for a moment and finally said, "I am willing to tell the truth."

As soon as these words came out, Yannis Griffith and Cherish were delighted. Cherish looked up at her, unable to conceal her joy either.

William Griffith let go of her hand, crouched down in front of Cherish, and said solemnly, "You don’t need to change your testimony."

"William?" All present were taken aback.

Just as Miss Jiang was willing to tell the truth, he actually says it’s not needed?

Miss Jiang looked at him puzzledly, but he had his back to her, so she couldn’t see his expression. All she could hear was his low voice, "If you change your testimony, it won’t be 100% credible and it will do you no good. Stick to what you said before, just tell them that you will do what they say, and they won’t hurt you."

"What do you plan to do?" Yannis Griffith wondered if the likelihood of the case being resolved would be a problem if Miss Jiang switched sides.

William Griffith stared at Cherish’s exquisite, pretty face and gently wiped her off with a wet wipe, "There’s always a solution."

Cherish knit her pretty brows and quietly looked at him, his handsome face still calm.

The four of them left the hospital with Hailey supporting Cherish by her side.

William Griffith and Yannis Griffith followed behind. Yannis couldn’t figure out what William wanted to do, so he couldn’t help but ask, "What do you want to do?"

"Leave the company’s affairs to you."

"No problem." Yannis understood that he was referring to those old relics.

"Calculate along the losses of the recent collaborative projects between Griffith and Seashore Corporation, present a report to me."

"Alright."

As they were heading to the parking lot, William Griffith’s phone rang again. He answered the call and heard the delicate, yet cold voice on the other end, "President Griffith, this is Abigail Johnson, I’d like to meet and talk."

"No time." William Griffith uttered these two words and hung up the phone.
