Because of Daniel Peacock’s words, Cherish Turner was always worried that something would actually happen to William Griffith.

Ever since he went to the United States, she felt that something seemed to have happened over there. Moreover, since Chloe returned to Kyoto City, there was no news about her either. On the other hand, Daniel Peacock had been getting busier and busier.

William Griffith looked around but didn’t see any man trying to hit on Cherish. He suddenly understood. Turning to face Butler, who was drinking at the side and raising her glass triumphantly, she found it amusing to tease someone for the first time. Only Cherish blinked her eyes in confusion.

They simply ate hot pot in a private room at a bar, enjoying the lively atmosphere while hearing customers repeatedly singing their favorite songs. It was a great feeling. However, the two people inside the private room began to "compete for food."

"Cherish, I want to eat beef."

"I’ll get you some." Cherish obediently picked up beef, but was stopped by William Griffith, "She has her own hands!"

Butler raised her eyebrows, "Cherish, I want to eat beef."

Cherish only glanced at William Griffith, and he loosened his hand.

Now, Butler was even more amused.

After finishing the hot pot, Cherish wanted to go outside for a walk and have a look around.

William Griffith and Elijah Butler were just about to chase after her, but the green light had turned red, and they couldn’t move forward.

The crowd on the street swallowed her thin figure in an instant, disappearing from sight. When the traffic light turned green again, William Griffith and Elijah Butler both looked in the direction where Cherish had gone.

Suddenly, there was the sound of brakes and screams ahead, "Ah——"

It seemed that an accident had occurred!

"A girl has been hit!" someone shouted from the crowd.

A girl? William Griffith suddenly felt an inexplicable fear, his brows furrowing as he forcefully pushed through the crowd. He spotted a girl lying on the ground, her glasses fallen, and she was wearing the same white sweater as Cherish. In his panic, he didn’t see her face clearly and ran towards her like an arrow.

Butler was also shocked but couldn’t pull away from the crowd, so she forced her way through.

William Griffith reached the girl and helped her up, "Cherish!"

"Miss! Are you okay?" The driver got out of the car and asked anxiously.

The girl was obviously frightened, but she wasn’t really injured. She just couldn’t speak.

Only then did William Griffith realize that she was not Cherish Turner!
