Domineering Love
Chapter 523 - 522: Come with Me

Chapter 523: Chapter 522: Come with Me

Coming down from the roller coaster, Cherish Turner felt dizzy and weak, with her feet on the ground as if they were on cotton. She took a step forward, and her whole body tilted forward. Luckily, someone caught her, allowing her to lean in. She weakly rested her head against him, no longer resisting.

Yet his demeanor showed no signs of discomfort, remaining as cool and composed as ever.

Why is it like this? Cherish felt both unwell and unwilling to accept.

William Griffith looked down at her pale face and admonished sternly, "You are not allowed to play this again."

In the future...is there a future? There is no future anymore!

William Griffith hugged her and walked towards a quiet flower bed, sitting down on a double chair. She sat on the chair, closed her eyes and caught her breath. He quietly walked away, she didn’t mind, feeling a bitter taste churning in her stomach. After a while, he returned to her side, handing her a bottle of mineral water.

"Drink some." He commanded gruffly, sitting down next to her.

Cherish squinted her eyes and reached out to open the bottle, only to find that he had already opened it for her. This caring gesture made her feel even warmer, and this ordinary bottle of mineral water suddenly held significant meaning.

After having some water, Cherish finally felt a bit better.

She carefully turned her head towards him and softly said, "Thank you."

William Griffith looked up at the clear blue sky; perhaps influenced by the blue, his eyes were clear.

The sun was leisurely, and the April spring seemed truly refreshing and pleasant. Cherish Turner started to browse the park guide again, this time excluding all the overly thrilling activities. William Griffith glanced at the park guide in her hand, his eyes narrowing as he asked, "Have you had enough rest?"

"Hmm?" Cherish muttered in confusion, wondering what he was up to.

William Griffith stood up and said, "Follow me."

He grabbed her by the wrist and led her abruptly towards a certain location.

Cherish followed behind him with confusion, only to be led to the entrance of an amusement house. She froze, feeling a cold wind chill her bones. It was... it was the Ghost Castle. In fact, she wasn’t that brave; she was even a bit scared.

However, he had already bought the tickets and stood in front of her. He took her hand and emphatically dragged her inside.

Inside the sinister castle, white bones were scattered everywhere, and cobwebs were all over the place. The floor was full of dust, and dust layered their clothes when they brushed against the walls. In the darkness, she could hardly see anything and had to carefully proceed with the help of the walls. Suddenly, she stepped on something. Looking down, she saw a skull.

It’s OK, it’s OK, this is fake.

Cherish comforted herself in her heart, trying not to be too scared. She quickly withdrew her foot, but her hand touched something else. When she turned her head, she was shocked to see a skull staring back at her.

This is also fake. This is also fake. She mumbled to herself.

However, the skull suddenly moved and bit her hand, letting out a chilling laugh.

"Ah--" Cherish couldn’t bear it any longer and cried out in fear. In her panic, she ran towards William Griffith in front of her, embracing him and hiding in his arm. She whimpered in fear, "A skeleton bit me...a skeleton bit me..."

"It’s okay, don’t be afraid." William Griffith held her, his large palm smoothing over her in a comforting manner, his voice deep and soothing.

His deep eyes flashed with a hint of sharpness.
