Chapter 418 - 418 419 Considerate Like Him

Chapter 418: Chapter 419: Considerate Like Him Chapter 418: Chapter 419: Considerate Like Him Reason? His reasoning was also very righteous and just – he had kicked the door and broke it, so it couldn’t be locked. Clearly, he was worried about the safety of her, a girl, staying here, so he laid out a makeshift bed and slept on the floor. Just like that night, he had already gotten used to it, acting independently and not caring about her objections.

The door was fixed the next day, and even replaced with a new lock.

After the door was fixed, the repairman left.

William Griffith handed her the keys and slowly said, “Keys.”

Cherish Turner took the keys without knowing what else to say.

“You don’t have to go to work these few days. If I see you, you know the consequences,” William Griffith said threateningly in a cold and harsh tone.

Cherish clenched the keys tightly in her hand, pursing her lips. He gave her a deep look, then turned and left. As soon as he left, Cherish sighed silently.

First, William went back to his place and changed his clothes, then drove to the Griffith Corporation. He didn’t go straight to his office, but headed for the Financial Investment Department instead. It had been a while since William left the Griffith Corporation, and while the reasons for his departure remained mysterious, and his sudden return and appointment as Vice President were similarly mysterious, people still held him in awe and respect, which hadn’t changed.

“President Griffith,” everyone greeted him in succession when he stepped into the office of the investment department.

William walked straight past them and headed towards the manager’s office.

Grace Harper’s assistant had just made coffee and was about to leave when she saw him and immediately called out, “President Griffith.”

William stopped slightly and glanced at her.

“Manager Harper is in her office,” Grace guessed who he was looking for and said with a smile.

William nodded and walked past her.

Inside the manager’s office, Grace was listening to her subordinate’s report over the phone while searching for a certain file. Her desk was cluttered with files piled up into a small mountain. Grace didn’t seem to be panicking, handling the chaos calmly. The office door was knocked and she looked up and called out, “Come in!”

When the door opened, she looked up and saw a surprised visitor.

“All right, I know. You go ahead with that,” Grace hurriedly instructed over the phone and hung up. She stood up and smiled, “Big brother, what brings you here?”

They both sat down on the sofa and Grace looked at him curiously. She heard his deep voice asking, “What do you usually eat when you have your period?”

Grace was stunned for a moment, not quite recovering from the shock.

How awkward, what was he asking? Her period?

“Um…” Grace hesitated, as if scared by his question, and finally managed to say, “Drink milk, have a cup of brown sugar water, choose foods that are warming and nourishing like chicken, seaweed, apples, and so on. There’s no need to be particularly careful about what you eat, except for cold things, like cold drinks and seafood.”

Hearing her say this, William’s face was solemn as he asked, “Is that all?”

“It varies from person to person,” Grace’s answer was rather bland, making him frown, “Some have lower back pain… and… cramps. Big brother, why are you asking about this?”

William merely uttered a “Hmm” before suddenly getting up to leave.

As luck would have it, when he opened the door, Grace was holding two cups of coffee and was just about to knock.

Without a word, William passed by as Grace stepped aside, watching him walk away. What on earth was happening with big brother, asking questions about women’s matters? How strange.
