Yannis Griffith returned to his brother’s side, also picking up a glass of wine.

He took a sip, looked at Cherish Turner who was dancing with Edward Smith, and slowly said, “She is like a pearl just peeled from its shell, pure and shimmering.”

Having danced for an entire evening, Cherish Turner finally got a respite by excusing herself to the restroom. She splashed her face with water inside the bathroom, the cold water seeming to dissipate some of the heat from her face. She rested for a while before leaving the bathroom.

The moment the bathroom door opened, she was about to turn around and was startled.

A tall figure leaned against the corridor, a cigarette between his fingers. Suddenly turning his head towards her, he regarded her with a look that was neither cold nor warm, and said indifferently, “Are you really enticing me?”

What? Cherish stared at him with wide-eyed surprise.

William took a puff of his cigarette, then suddenly put his arm around her neck and leaned over. He blew a cloud of smoke towards her in punishment. Unable to tolerate the strong smell of smoke, Cherish coughed a few times. As her vision blurred, his handsome face descended, and his hot tongue drilled into her mouth.

“William Griffith…” Cherish finally got a breath of air and spoke softly.

His breathing became increasingly unsteady as he continued kissing her, his large hand held her head, preventing her from resisting, disallowing any attempt to escape. His dominance was so sudden that it was irresistible. Her limbs felt weak, and standing on the deck was like standing on cotton.

The cigarette in his fingers fell to the ground, and its embers went out momentarily.

Looking at William who was holding her neck, his other hand lifting her jaw, forcing her to face him. His breathing was heavy, his voice especially hoarse, “Tonight, I will come for you.”

With each breath, Cherish got some fresh air, her chest finally ceased its oppression.

Her cheeks turned red due to fear and shyness, her lips were equally red and swollen from his kisses. He let go of his hand, and Cherish stood dazed on the spot, she reached out to support herself against the wall to prevent herself from falling.

William Griffith coldly glanced at her, spun on his heels, and walked back towards the main cabin.

He stepped out the cigarette butt that he had discarded earlier, without looking back.

He said, he would come for her.

His words made her heart feel as though it was about to leap out of her chest!
