Chapter 356: Chapter 356: William Griffith is back Chapter 356: Chapter 356: William Griffith is back Boarding the yacht, Grace Harper sprinted to Cherish Turner, affectionately embracing her and whispering, “It seems like Hailey is in love! She brought a handsome guy with her!”
A thought suddenly flashed through Cherish’s mind. Could it be Sam? Aren’t Hailey and Sam very close?
As Cherish wondered who the handsome guy was, she looked up and saw two figures walking side by side.
Hailey was wearing an orange and pink velvet princess gown, which was unlike the image she usually had. Her makeup was fresh, but she looked thinner than before. Her hair seemed to have grown, and with the sea breeze brushing against her black hair, she looked serene and beautiful. Her gaze shifted, and the other figure made her feel unfamiliar.
It wasn’t Sam.
She didn’t know who the young and lofty-looking man was, but his outfit matched Hailey quite well.
Hailey turned her head and saw Cherish, immediately coming over to greet her, “Sister-in-law, when did you arrive?”
Cherish smiled, “I just got here.” She felt a bit awkward being addressed as sister-in-law. Now, where was she a sister-in-law? She never had been.
.
“Wow-” Someone suddenly screamed, a joyful female voice, “Yannis, can we go fishing?”
Everyone looked in the direction of the voice and saw a beautiful woman in a big flower-patterned dress. She was also Yannis’s friend.
“Alright! Let’s get going!” Yannis Griffith put down his things and went up to the deck, his voice deep and authoritative.
“Let’s set off!”
With that said, they raised the anchor and prepared to set off.
The yacht was extremely luxurious, with high-grade decorations, equipped with the most modern communication and navigation systems, top-notch materials in the cabins – teak, leather, gold-plated hardware, modern electrical equipment. Even the ornaments, antiques, calligraphy, and paintings had specially designed lighting that accentuated the luxurious atmosphere from the inside out.
Grace Harper was organizing some things and suddenly sighed, “I wonder if Brother Griffith will come.”
Sitting on the sofa reading a magazine, Cherish paused momentarily, her gaze somewhat vacant.
The yacht sailed out of the harbor and anchored in a calm sea.
The tranquil night, the starry sky shimmering with radiance.
Everyone had a candlelit dinner on the deck, the atmosphere incredibly romantic.
Suddenly, a white wave lifted on the distant sea surface, and a small speedboat sped towards the yacht. Moonlight sprinkled silver-white rays of light, and in the darkness, a towering figure could be vaguely seen, standing in the wind, his eyes bright and piercing.
“Who’s coming?” Hailey exclaimed in surprise, squinting to get a better look.
Yannis was holding a wine glass, but his gaze was firmly fixed on the Cherish across the dining table. Her eyes, fixed in the darkness, bloomed with dazzling, multicolored, glass-like brilliance, so mesmerizing. He put down the glass, as if laying down some expectation, some decision, and casually said, “It’s my brother, he’s here.”
As the small speedboat docked alongside the yacht, a rope ladder was promptly lowered.
Bathed in the bright lights of the yacht stood a man.
It was William Griffith himself.
He swiftly climbed up the rope ladder, his movements exceptionally agile, quickly reaching the deck. His tall and slender figure, not wearing a suit but dressed in a black knitted shirt, couldn’t hide his regal aura. Perhaps it was because the speedboat traveled too fast, the splashes wetting his clothes and dampening his black hair.
With his bangs hanging above his eyes, his gaze was as cold as a sharp blade, seemingly cutting through the air, yet hidden within was a raging fire.
