He took a puff and exhaled a cloud of white smoke. The smoke slowly curled up in front of his eyes, obscuring his elegant and handsome face. But a pair of sharp eyes were still keenly staring at her, as if examining her.

“Since you’re here, it means, you also have questions about the past, about William Griffith as well.” Daniel Peacock slowly spoke, his deep voice echoing.

Hearing him say this, Cherish Turner pressed her lips together, saying nothing.

Cherish Turner moved her lips, but her chest felt suffocated, “Daniel Peacock, you must know what the Griffiths mean to him, and moreover, what he means to the Griffiths, you can’t possibly not know that. You can’t casually throw such words.”

“Casually?” Daniel Peacock chuckled, a cold glint in his eyes as he said grimly, “You can ask him if I’m lying! He is no longer the president of the Griffiths, because the Griffith family doesn’t like him being with you. But, he doesn’t seem to understand the impossibility between you two! Now without the Griffiths, without the aura of President Griffith, he is just a person with nothing!”

Cherish Turner was utterly shocked, not because he left the Griffiths, but because he chose to be with her.
