"Hmm-hmm~ all set~"

Feng Yuan clapped his hands, proudly surveying the room he had just finished tidying up. Although Agunas seemed a bit puzzled, he didn’t speak up; after all, traveling around the world after graduation was just something he’d said in passing. Xiao Ji rushed to its mat and lay down to test it out. Even though Xiao Ji could transform into an Eggshell Chicken, Feng Yuan didn’t build it a small house for sleeping, but rather prepared a round blanket for it, much like he did for those slightly larger Spirit Beasts.

The blanket was embroidered with various poses and expressions of Xiao Ji in its Eggshell Chicken form. Agunas landed on the table, watching the room that Feng Yuan had meticulously decorated, while Veronia drifted toward a corner of the ceiling where there was a model of a celestial body.

"How about this spot for me?"

"Whatever you like, Agunas, how about you?"

Feng Yuan said nonchalantly, turning his gaze to Agunas, who glanced around the room and then out the window before saying,

"I’m easy, this spot is quite nice."

Hearing Agunas’ words, Feng Yuan smiled, pulled out what looked like a halved Astrolabe, and placed it on the table. At the center of the Astrolabe, a brass-colored metal bowl floated, perfectly sized to serve as Agunas’ bed. The bowl was engraved with beautiful decorations.

Even though it was missing its upper half, the Astrolabe didn’t look awkward, its thoughtfully designed ornaments made it seem as if it was meant to be that way.

"Here you go, at least it’s a bed, right?"

Feng Yuan pushed the Astrolabe-styled bed toward Agunas and stared at the bed. Agunas froze there—it wasn’t that it didn’t have a little nest, but somehow, this felt... different?

Huddling on the bed, Agunas couldn’t grasp this strange feeling and took a long time to realize that this was the same feeling he had in Hamilon’s room; why didn’t its own nest feel this way? Agunas couldn’t figure it out right then.

Sitting on a blue celestial body, Veronia glanced at Agunas without explanation. Naturally, she could sense his discomfort, but that Little Crocodile seemed not to understand exactly why. Cradling her orb, Veronia looked at the celestial bodies, thought for a moment, and left the orb there to enter the World of Mirrors, from where she eventually brought out a nebula-like soft object.

She placed the soft, nebula-like object between the celestial bodies and, cradling her orb, Veronia contentedly lay on the nebula.

Little Green Snake didn’t seem to care much about where it rested and simply coiled up under the desk to ponder something. Seeing this, Feng Yuan, unable to help but smile, picked up a bamboo woven basket and carefully placed Little Green Snake inside; though it seemed unnecessary, Little Green Snake hissed and flicked its tail in thanks to Feng Yuan.

Setting Pomiti into a Spirit Beast crib and seeing the tall rails, Feng Yuan said contentedly,

"Now there’s no worry about it wandering off~"

Little Ice Cream yawned and looked at Feng Yuan. Although it showed no expression, he could still sense its anticipation. After poking Little Ice Cream’s soft body elastically, Feng Yuan smiled and said,

"Yours too, of course."

Pointing at the little mat on the bed, Feng Yuan grinned and said. Xiao Ji lifted its head, eyes gleaming fiercely as it stared at Little Ice Cream, who, seemingly oblivious, meowed softly, jumped on the mat, pawed at it, yawned again, and curled back into a ball. Looking at another mat beside the computer, Feng Yuan regretfully said,

"It’s a pity Big Cat isn’t back yet, or I could ask whether it likes this place."

"Are you done?"

Upon seeing Feng Yuan emerge, Qi Chen asked curiously. Feng Yuan nodded, pushed open the door, and proudly said,

"Take a look~"

Qi Chen stood outside the door, puzzled, and then was surprised to see that Feng Yuan had decorated the whole room so quickly. He smiled and said,

"Not bad, I was going to ask if you needed help, but it looks like there’s no need."

Qi Chen looked around the room unsure how to address the plush toys; Xiao Ji and Ball Whale toys had been pulled out. If not for the wrong color scheme, he almost thought it was Qi Xiaoshuang’s room, though not even Qi Xiaoshuang was that extravagant.

"What about it?"

Feng Yuan looked at Qi Chen, puzzled. He thought everything was fine; why did it seem like there was a problem? Hesitating for a moment, Qi Chen said,

"Do you have a bit too many plush toys?"

It wasn’t just Xiao Ji. To his surprise, he discovered that Feng Yuan had brought back plush toys of Big Cat and others at some point. The room was occupied by these toys in every corner. If the room didn’t have such good lighting, he would have been somewhat worried that it might seem gloomy and eerie.

"They are fine, don’t you think the plush toys feel nice to hold?"

Feng Yuan said nonchalantly. Seeing this, Qi Chen didn’t say much more. He was aware of Feng Yuan’s fondness for plush toys, and although it felt a bit odd, he found nothing wrong with it.

"Let’s go then, since you’re ready, let’s grab something to eat, it’s already past one."

"I took a leave of absence to come check on you," she responded.

Although Qi Chen was a bit upset about Qi Xiaoshuang skipping school to come home, he knew that she was indeed smarter than him, and moreover, she was only facing the middle school exams.
