"Why me? Isn’t Lanadi more suited to your needs?"

Lorna smiled and looked down at Little Gladys, who was scuffing the tip of her shoe on the ground, and said,

"Why would you think that?"

"Everyone says so. Everything is done better by Lanadi. No matter what I do, they don’t notice; only Lanadi pities me... But now she has it! She definitely won’t care about me anymore!"

Feeling wronged, Little Gladys said, raising her head and staring at Lorna,

"She just wants to use me! As long as she acts caring, everyone praises her! Now that she has it, her position is secured, and she certainly won’t care about me anymore!"

Lorna floated over to Little Gladys, extended her hand, and gently stroked her head, smiling,

"What truth?"

Looking puzzled, Little Gladys listened as Lorna spoke in the common language of the Divine Land Region,

Still confused, Little Gladys stared at Lorna, not understanding the meaning of what was said in the common language of the Divine Land Region. Seeing this, Little Gladys laughed and hugged the mysterious doll close. Nearby, a baby bear whimpered softly, cradling its paw pitifully. Watching Little Gladys play with the two spirit beasts, Lorna floated back to the stone platform, gazing at the waterfall and murmured softly,

"You still didn’t come..."

Though she couldn’t understand Professor Yan’s words, Little Gladys could sense the worry in his tone and happily chattered away, holding the mysterious doll. Gladys, watching Little Gladys, didn’t say much, just sighed softly.

Plucking a red fruit and handing it to Professor Yan, Gladys said,

"This is the Red Fruit that can grow rapidly. Once the greenhouse is ready, it can be used to plant fruit trees. Also, pick more of these; these should be enough."

"Can grow rapidly?"

Professor Yan was skeptical, knowing that some special Spirit Plants indeed had such capabilities. But even taking into account those Spirit Plants that could rapidly grow fruit trees, the scarcity of such plants and the limited fruit they bore initially meant that only after planting the fruits, which degraded into ordinary plants, would they quickly produce a large amount of fruit in the first instance; after which, the trees would revert to growing like normal plants.

Looking at the red fruits that almost weighed down the branches, Professor Yan found it hard to associate them with those rapidly growing Spirit Plants.

"Of course, all the fruits here are blessed by Lorna, the Time Guardian. Her blessings are naturally different from other Spirit Plants."

"Lorna? Divine Beasts?"

Xiao Ji stared at the wood for a long time without figuring out how to arrange the formation inside it. Seeing Xiao Ji somewhat irritable, Feng Yuan chuckled and said to Xiao Ji,

"You could stare for decades and still not figure it out, come here, I’ll teach you."
