The trio charged to the end of the crystal corridor, where a throne made of crystal awaited. Before the throne, a massive and burly silhouette brandished a scepter, its eyes ablaze with pale blue flames, seemingly watching the intruders. Just as Feng Yuan thought they would be caught in a tough battle, the figure didn’t last more than ten moves against Ah Lan before being completely sealed in ice to one side.

As the trembling continued, the buildings of E Hua Temple began to collapse. After commanding Ah Lan to rush out of the temple, Elder Li saw that the surroundings had returned to the normal sky. Seeing both Elder Li and Captain Yang using their Spirit Beasts to block, Feng Yuan turned to Agunas and asked,

Agunas nodded, tossed the book in his hand, and a multitude of clock illusions began to spread across the entire region of E Hua Temple. Everything around them came to a standstill. Elder Li glanced at Agunas and said,

"Thanks."

Looking around at the frozen debris, Elder Li sighed and prepared to command Ah Lan to descend to the ground. Feng Yuan pulled out the Dark Ancient Book and opened it; the souls that had previously been captured inside reappeared. Feng Yuan glanced at Agunas again and said,

"Try reversing time."

Hearing Feng Yuan’s words, Agunas ignored the book floating in front of him, waved the pen in his hand, and an inverted clock illusion appeared behind the soul. In a short while, the soul turned into a point of light, dispersed, then quickly gathered again into the form of a human. At that moment, the clock illusion still lingered, and the eerie tissue on the individual’s arm rapidly squirmed before dissolving into points of light that reassembled into a salamander-shaped Spirit Beast, which, finding itself hovering in the air, frantically jumped onto a piece of the nearby debris.

"Salamander Baby? No wonder his arm was so strange."

As the clock illusions faded, Feng Yuan looked at the additional Spirit Beasts somewhat speechlessly and said,

"This guy doesn’t hold back, that’s quite a few Spirit Beasts."

Seeing the frightened Spirit Beasts hiding behind debris, Captain Yang glared at the man and said,

"I’ll deal with this guy’s issue properly."

"First, rescue whoever you can."

Sighing, Captain Yang spoke to Feng Yuan helplessly. Smiling at Xiao Ji in his arms, Feng Yuan said,

"Xiao Ji~"

Seeing Feng Yuan look towards himself, Agunas shook his head and gestured with his hands. Feng Yuan scratched his head and said

"Safety-wise, Xiao Ji being there might be a little dangerous, but it’s not particularly dangerous, and..."

Looking up at the night sky, Feng Yuan smiled and said

"What do you want to eat?"
