Dimensional Tycoon: I Make Trillions in Every World -
Chapter 90: Messiah?
Chapter 90: Messiah?
Mo Yuhua’s arrival quickly gained attention.
Starting from monsters, both Puff and Umbu looked at her, scrutinizing her from head to toe.
Xue Hanly and Qing Xuan also shifted their attention.
The former realized that Mo Yuhua was Noa’s new contracted employee, her eyes narrowing.
The latter had guessed this earlier.
She somewhat understood how Noa operated and knew that he was collecting subjects every chance he got.
But what was truly fascinating was how eagerly people chose to follow him.
Divine product?
Yes, they were good.
Yes, they played a huge role in his ability to recruit and develop others.
However, at the end of the day, they were only part of his real strength. Just a tiny piece that ultimately barely mattered.
There was much more about Noa that convinced Xue Hanly and Qing Xuan to join him.
...His persona, the way he carried himself, was far more compelling. Every word he uttered, every tiny motion he made, stalled the world, forcing even the air to kneel before him.
The rules they once knew.
The principles by which the world operated.
All of it had been altered by him alone, showing them miracle after miracle.
If Noa knew what his two employees were thinking, he would have proudly announced to the system that he was a messiah of Ligma.
Thankfully, he had no way of reading their minds.
The girls had heard about Mo Yuhua before, as it was impossible to escape her influence for everyone who was born in Hollow Jade City.
For one, the woman was rich.
Not just any rich person either.
She owned a good number of establishments, including but not limited to smiths, restaurants, auction houses, and alchemy halls.
Her name was associated with local sects because she liked investing in them.
Though she was not a cultivator herself, Mo Yuhua was known for founding one of the strongest mercenary groups in the region.
According to the rumors, she had Immortal Ascension assassins working under her.
Of course, no one wanted to test that theory.
But one thing was clear—she had no enemies, at least the ones who still lived.
Despite her astronomical status and ability to influence the city, neither of the girls was surprised that she willingly joined Noa.
They just silently watched her arrival.
Her guards displayed reactions worth mentioning as well.
They no longer doubted or questioned her decision to speak politely to Noa.
Neither did they think that she was in any danger and needed their immediate attention, because if Noa wanted to do something, they were powerless to stop him.
Yet there was a slight shame gnawing at their hearts.
Qing Xuan and Xue Hanly charmed them easily, causing their weight to shift, their swords to tremble.
One lowered his head.
The other swallowed hard, hands clenching behind him.
They might not have done something wrong, but the feeling that they had been bought by Noa’s products didn’t disappear.
It itched at their pride.
It gave them a sense of loss, like they had been defeated, like they had been tamed like a dog sniffing after the trash.
But this time—
Instead of trash, they had been busy with godly artifacts.
Mo Yuhua, however, stepped inside the store with calm steps, still dizzy from the experience.
Finding a way out of the contract room was just as demanding. Yet the long hall and weird elevator weren’t the causes.
The idea of waking up was scary.
Opening her eyes after qi blinded her was terrifying.
Also, not knowing if she was still alive or not quickened her heartbeat.
But now she was back in perfect shape.
The way towards the store was enough for her to regain her composure, letting her calm, collected eyes sweep across the room.
The guards stiffened under her gaze.
But her mind was too occupied to spare them a thought.
Eyes stopped at Noa first. They noticed how casually he stood near the glowing slime—and also took note of a dragon hugging his neck.
Just as she didn’t look at her guards, Noa didn’t care about her entrance either.
He was still thinking about Puff.
The slime had devoured an entire bottle of protein shake, and the only progress he showed was the color change.
’Is it because of immortality?’ Noa asked in his head.
The system came in clutch, coughing before speaking up.
[Your shake was produced for mortal body and mind, and the slime is a living energy reservoir. Why did you even think that it would do something?]
Noa shrugged.
He was used to seeing the miraculous effects his products could bring.
Seeing a failure hadn’t been registered in his mind.
The system could guess what he was thinking and provided additional information before vanishing.
[It’s like putting a cup of water into an ocean. It can’t disturb the high waves, no matter how many times you do that.]
Noa made a mental note.
But he didn’t give up.
Puff was made of mixed qi and had close to no muscle tissue.
So it was understandable that the protein would have less effect on him.
But what about the fidget spinner?
Or baby shampoo could do the trick?
Possibilities were endless, and Noa wasn’t used to giving up, especially when he had barely scratched the surface.
After making up his mind, he patted Umbu.
Rubbing his back, Noa felt the dragon’s warmth and decided to experiment with another item.
But before that...
The strong scent of qi flowed in and out of the store.
It was thick.
Yet Noa cared about none of that. He sighed and only now glanced at the woman who stood silently, waiting for him to give the first instructions.
’She is my new asset,’ he thought, approaching her.
Puff, Umbu, and Yun Qiqi walked just a single step behind him, remaining silent this entire time.
"How are you feeling?" Noa asked.
The woman flashed him a bright smile, bowing. "Alive. That should be more than enough."
Just then—
The system rang in his head, announcing its new feature.
