Chapter 1328: Escaping The False Heaven
...King Solomon suddenly sighed, his voice laced with both boredom and amusement.
"And so what?"
His golden eyes gleamed with a sharp, knowing light.
"What if I play God? After all, someone has to do it—
Since that old bearded fool decided to sit on his ass." he pointed towards the heavens. Obviously referring to the One Above All.
A slow rage built within Enel, but then—Something clicked.
A knowing light flashed in his eyes.
He turned his head, looking to the right—
As if he had sensed something. Then, with a swift motion, Enel lunged.
His fist shot forward, aiming straight for Solomon’s face—
But the King of Wisdom?
He only smirked.
As if the attempt was beneath him.
And then—With graceful ease, Solomon moved.
A single shove.
A precise motion—
And Enel’s entire body was flipped. Sent flying across the golden floor.
Hard.
The impact shook through his bones. Enel had fought countless battles.
He had faced enemies that shattered worlds, beings that could erase entire civilizations.
And the number of battles he had lost?
Very, very few.
Yet now—
With no effort at all, Solomon had bested him.
And the king?
He simply stood there, smiling.
The kind of look one gives a toddler who swings a wooden stick at a grown man.
But then—
To his surprise—
Enel also smiled.
Not out of arrogance, but out of certainty.
And then—
He slowly revealed his hand from behind his back.
And in his grasp—
Was King Solomon’s scepter which was his golden artifact of power.
Solomon’s smile faltered for a mere second.
His eyes flickered.
But then—He let out a light chuckle.
"And what do you intend to do with that?" His voice was calm.
Confident.
Almost amused.
"You can’t use it."
The words were said as an absolute fact.
And then Solomon added, his tone filled with an undeniable truth—
"Only those of my bloodline can wield my scepter.
And I, King Solomon, ensured with meticulous planning before leaving Earth—
That none of them survived the ages."
His words were cold.
Matter-of-fact.
As if the act of erasing his own descendants was as simple as flicking dust from his sleeve.
Enel sighed. Such ruthless even to one’s own descendants was incredible.
It was no wonder the witches were not able to find any of his descendants regardless of how much they had sear h for centuries.
King Solomon had been meticulous in eradicating all of them. Of course he got rid of all of them, except one.
One that he would never had expected or could have forseen her birth.
Of course, this was none other than Enel’s woman.
The one that was once known as Ciri, but later became Glenn when all those souls became one and born anew.
According to King Solomon’s will from thousands of years ago, Ciri was supposed to be the end of his bloodline, but Enel had added in that finally battle and Glenn had been born in Ciri’s body which carried Solomon’s bloodline.
She had a son, who later became Enel’s father.
This meant that Enel was of King Solomon’s bloodline.
Enel suddenly shook his head.
His gaze hardened.
His lips curled into a small, knowing smirk.
And in a voice filled with both certainty and challenge, he spoke—
"You should know by now, Solomon—Not everything always goes according to plan."
Enel’s smile deepened, his grip on the golden scepter firm.
A slow exhale left his lips as he whispered—
"Nice to meet you, ancestor."
For a brief moment, silence filled the grand hall.
King Solomon’s brows furrowed.
His sharp mind, so used to calculating a thousand moves ahead, stalled.
And then—
Before understanding could dawn on the ancient king’s face—
Enel turned.
His gaze locked onto the grand doors of the palace.
With a swift, decisive motion—
He swung the scepter.
Just like King Solomon himself had always done.
And then—
The walls morphed. The towering golden doors that once seemed impenetrable—Melted like liquid.
Without hesitation, Enel lunged forward.
He jumped through.
And the moment he passed—The walls snapped shut behind him.
Sealing the way.
And then—A roar of fury erupted from behind.
King Solomon’s voice—
Laced with rage.
The palace itself shook with the force of his anger.
His golden eyes blazed, his expression twisting into something dark.
And then—
He spat out orders.
A soft, feminine face appeared on the palace walls.
The palace had heard.
It had felt its master’s fury.
"Block him. No matter what."
Solomon’s voice was like a commandment.
A decree that could shake reality itself.
"Summon the others. The Greats within the palace—
Find him. Stop him.
And bring the scepter back to me."
At such a time, Enel raced through the beautiful corridor.
The walls, lined with gold and celestial inscriptions, shimmered in the eternal light of this so-called paradise.
But—
The beauty of it all no longer moved him.
Every step he took echoed in the silence, but his mind was far from admiring the splendor of the false heaven.
His grip tightened around the scepter.
It was more than just a symbol of power—
It was his way out.
His only way out. Enel understood Solomon.
He understood the way the king thought.
No one could reach this place—
Which meant that no one could find this false heaven.
A paradise hidden within the Nexus of Fate itself.
But in truth—
Enel did not care.
He did not care for the peace that had been so generously gifted to him.
It wasn’t that he didn’t appreciate it—
It simply was not a life for him.
But even though he did not want it, he now knew too much.
And that meant—
Solomon would never let him go.
The sentence had already been decided.
The Castle of Accords.
A place of unimaginable torment in the Nether Realm.
A place where those who once held greatness were stripped, broken, and left to rot.
Enel was nowhere near as wise as Solomon. And he knew that if he were captured—
He would suffer terribly.
He had to use the only advantage he had which was Knowledge.
But first—
Before anything else, he needed to rescue his mate, Allison.
