Elina came in the morning a week after I know that I pregnant by the doctor, that morning it was drizzling rain, the wind was so cold, the snow melted because of the rain and the streets became so slippery. I waited for Elina in the room, enjoying the hot tea that Ave had prepared.

There are no problem whatsoever in this pregnancy, I can still eat and drink normally. However, I feel restless without Gruvv. This morning he kissed my whole face before leaving for work, he kept hugging me and saying "See you tonight."

Elina picked up the cup and sipped the contents with a smile, "You know what? I asked Gruvv when he was going to mark you."

I rounded my eyes at what she said.

A few minutes after the message came in, my phone rang. A number I didn’t recognize appeared there. Was this really Dad calling me? No one knew my number except Dhurudatta’s family. How could it be?

I covered my mouth with both hands, throwing my phone onto the bed. Is he really dad?

My phone rang again, making a deafening sound. My sweat was pouring down and I was really nervous now, I slowly picked up my phone and pressed the call reception button.

There was no voice on the other end of the line, only the sound of breathing. I didn’t even dare to breathe, I held my breath tightly. Trying to deny that what I heard was my father’s voice.

The smell of rain wafted over me as I woke up, my eyes slightly shadowed, a man sitting in front of me. I frowned, trying to focus my eyes. Slowly I could see the figure in front of me, my body felt sticky and wet.

"Shiloh..." The voice sent chills down my spine. I opened my eyes and the figure was present in front of me, a smile so wide that my chest ached. The smell of pheromones.

"Dad..." I called out to him nervously.

We sat in the car, facing each other. Dad is wearing a neat black suit, his face looks much more messy than the last time I saw him. The suffocating smell of pheromones wafted up again, I hugged my stomach, trying to hide it. He can’t know that I’m carrying Gruvv’s child.

"SHILOH!" Dad’s voice snapped at me, making me look at him. He looks so angry, why is he angry?

"Come with me. Get out of here. Shut up and just follow me, we are family after all."

I remember how warm the Dhurudatta family was to me. Are they no longer my family? Do I have to go back to this person in front of me? The one who abused me for so long? Should I leave Gruvv?

The sound of someone screeching could be heard from the video he showed me, where Gruvv was beating a man mercilessly.
