A few days ago Maeve came to see me, she is Mateo’s wife and also Seth’s mother. She came to give me news about Seth, at first she was a little angry and disappointed with what I did, even though I didn’t know that what I did endangered my son’s life.

She explained many things and also told us a little about Seth.

When she was about to return home she waved her hand and said congratulations to me.

"Shiloh, congratulations on your pregnancy! Seth is going to love being a big brother!"

Honestly, Gruvv and I didn’t notice anything at all.

A month had passed since Gruvv and I had experienced HEAT and RUT together during my therapy session with Elina. We had a blast with both and completed the whole thing in two days.

That day, I opened my eyes and found Gruvv sleeping next to me. My head hurt so much, and my eyes ached when the sunlight came through the open window. I felt pain all over my body and was also thirsty.

"Mr. Shiloh..." I heard a knock from outside the room, Ave’s voice came from there.

"Ave?"

"I’m going in." She said. The door was pushed and Ave entered carrying a trolley of food. She came over to me, poured a glass of water into a glass and gave it to me, my whole body felt so sick and weak.

"How many days have I been here, Ave?"

Ave put the glass on the trolley and brought me a bowl of mushroom porridge, she gave me a spoon and placed a small tray on my thigh so I could eat comfortably. The hot porridge looked appetizing and smelled so good. I blew on the spoon of porridge and started to eat it, my stomach was hurting too.

"You have been here for two days, sir."

I paused while chewing the food in my mouth and swallowed it slowly, "Are our RUT and HEAT overlapping again?" I scooped the porridge a second time, I’ve never eaten this porridge. Did Ave just make it for the first time?

"Right, oh, Mr. Ian and the obstetrician are already here."

I choked on the porridge I was eating, while I was coughing, Gruvv opened his eyes, he immediately cupped both my cheeks with his big hands.

"Y..You, are you okay?" He said half-sleep.

Ave and I looked at him, we looked at each other and then laughed at Gruvv’s behavior. The man just realized that there was Ave there, he got into the blanket and covered half of his body.

"Mr. Gruvv, please get ready, Mr. Ian is already here."

"Father?" Gruvv frowned, he looked at me.

"We did this for two days, Ian brought the gynecologist here."

Gruvv closed his eyes and sighed. He massaged his forehead, I glanced at him and I already knew what he was afraid of. And so do I.

Ave brought the trolley out after Gruvv and I finished our breakfast, it was already eight in the morning when we came out of the room and met up with Ian. He introduced me to John, a Dhurudatta family doctor.

Ian didn’t ask any questions, he just invited me to follow John into a room. John examined me and asked me a few questions about our crossed RUT and HEAT.

"You don’t feel anything?" John asked me as Ian walked into the room, Ian closed the door. I turned to him, not understanding where this conversation was going.

"Shiloh, can I see the back of your neck?" Ian asked me softly, I looked up at him, he then sat next to me and I nodded. I pushed my hair aside and exposed the back of my neck, Ian touched it.

I looked at him, the two people looked at each other and smiled.

"Shiloh, doctor John, he’s an Alpha."

I looked at the two of them in turn, my head still trying to understand what happened. After I came to my senses, I covered my mouth with both hands, I looked at Ian with teary eyes.

"Gruvv successfully marked you."

I couldn’t help but feel happy even though I didn’t remember how it happened, Doctor John explained to me why I had pain all over my body when I woke up. The effects of marking usually disappear after three days, the pain throughout the body is a sign of an Alpha’s successful marking of his Omega.

"You are free." Ian said it in the softest voice I’ve ever heard.

Ian called Gruvv and explained everything to him, Gruvv turned his head and looked at me before running over and hugging me tightly. The suffering that had made it difficult for me to interact with many people was finally resolved, although the trauma was still there, the marking made me unaffected by the smell of other Alpha pheromones. That helped me recover faster.

Our days went on as usual, nothing changed.

Until Maeve came along and told us about it. Gruvv quickly called the doctor and here we were sitting in front of doctor John, nervous and worried. News of my pregnancy spread quickly to the entire Dhurudatta family.

Now not only Ian, Joshua, Cross and even Sage were present to hear the results.

John invited me to lie down on the small bed, he then started to do an ultrasound on my stomach.

I could see the confusion on Gruvv’s face, as well as mine, but I had seen it. Yes, that little creature inside the monitor screen, just like Seth when he was still inside my womb.

"Congratulations Mr. Shiloh, you are pregnant."

Gruvv turned to me, I could tell by the look on his face that he was happy. but he waited for me to react, he knew that I might still be afraid of having another child.

I swear to God, if it’s with Gruvv, I’m sure everything will be fine. I smiled widely while crying, Gruvv immediately rushed into my arms.

"Shiloh, congratulations, congratulations!" He said in a half-whisper to me.

He immediately left the room and told the happy news to all Dhurudatta family members, oh, quickly the news spread and everyone now knew about my pregnancy.

When I walked out of the room, Ian hugged me tightly and congratulated me once again. I smiled widely, at least this time, I wasn’t alone. My son, will have a big warm family.

Oh, Seth, if only he could feel this happiness too. He will be a big brother.

Ian as well as Sage congratulated me, they looked happy and relieved. We planned to have dinner together, I was happy that I could go anywhere without the fear of having another seizure. Just like me, Gruvv’s sense of smell was not bothered by the smell of other Omega’s pheromones. It’s just that he is still adapting to smelling other Alpha pheromones that he don’t know.

Gruvv told Ian and Sage that the wife of the Elnathan family wanted to see me and asked me to do another pheromone shower on Seth. Ian explained that an Omega male who gives birth does have a strong pheromone bond with his children.

"This is different from Omega women who can breastfeed and connect with their children, Omega men only rely on pheromones for their children to recognize that they are the ones who conceived and gave birth." It was a long explanation but I came to understand that an omega male works harder, pregnancy makes their bodies weaker, as well as after giving birth, they have to be with their children until they are three years old so that they can clearly recognize who the person who gave birth and carried them is.

"Isn’t it that when you’re pregnant, you have to be close to the father of the child you’re carrying?" Ian asked.
