Shiloh and Gruvv were wrapped in thick blankets when they got out of the car and transferred to hospital push beds, they entered through a special door built only for Dhurudatta family. The nurses and doctors on duty had been notified directly by the hospital director about their situation, and they immediately took Shiloh and Gruvv to different rooms.

Gruvv’s pheromones were still so strong that the nurses and doctors who came were just beta so they can’t be affected by the pheromones, the doctor get rid of the blanket. Gruvv condition was not okay, his breathing was so heavy and he lost consciousness, his body temperature also increased. He has a fever.

"This is serious, call doctor Andrew. At this rate, he’s going to have a heart attack." The doctor said to one of the nurses who then made a quick phone call.

Not long after, Andrew came from the other side of the door, looking worried.

Ian looked surprised when he saw Andrew, his heart sinking. Something must have happened considering Andrew is a cardiologist.

"Andrew..." Ian called in a trembling voice.

The man was wearing a white doctor’s robe, he just nodded and ran over to the room where Gruvv is.

Ian could feel his head are blank.

"Father, don’t worry..." Joshua held Ian’s hand, he stroked it and could feel Ian shaking hard. Even though Joshua could see how his Father looked calm when he was in the room and injected the suppressant despite the fact that his father also had wrapped up in fear.

"Ian!" The heavy voice called out to him, a bearded and thin-mustached man with a fierce face appeared, the man was large and much taller, wearing a neat suit.

Ian came closer to him and slipped into his arms.

"How’s Gruvv?" Asked the man.

"Dad..." Joshua approached the man, Sage. Their Alpha father.

Ian’s trembling body slowly began to subside in his husband’s arms, the fear he had been feeling was slightly reduced after smelling the scent of male pheromones that had marked him. The worry that had consumed him throughout the ride was now slowly disappearing.

"Why did this happen?" Sage asked again, stroking Ian’s back gently.

"I think Gruvv can smell pheromones again, that’s why he lost control." Joshua said, he walked over to the chair and sat there. Actually, he also experienced tremendous fear after seeing how Gruvv behaved in the room.

Seeing Shiloh’s distressed state with open wounds everywhere, blood splattered and red flower petals scattered made him so horrified. Especially when Gruvv started undressing and kissing Shiloh. If his father had been late for even a minute, Joshua can’t be sure that Shiloh would be alive today.

For an Alpha, experiencing RUT is common. How long is their RUT time depends on whether they take suppressants or not, if they take suppressants regularly, usually RUT comes every three months, if not then RUT will occur every month. For Gruvv who has not experienced RUT for twelve years because he can no longer smell pheromones, this is a miracle.

"Ian, is it true?" Asked Sage, he stroked Ian’s head who was still in his arms.

"Andrew has not given any explanation."

Sage sighed, he could see the top of his husband’s head. He knew exactly what Ian was afraid of, this was of course the most awaited by all of them. But as Andrew explained before, it would affect many things including the RUT that would occur repeatedly and uncontrollably.

Not to mention Gruvv’s ability to adapt to pheromones again would be like when he was first pronounced as a Dominant Alpha. Also, since this uncontrolled RUT would cause him to lose his memory during that time, it would be another problem on Gruvv’s own body as well as his Omega partner.

Sage brought his son and husband into a room prepared by the hospital, Joshua was asked to contact Cross, to confirm Madam Rose’s case. All the Omegas in the building have been moved and Louis Baxter is taking care of it, there are about two hundred Omegas there, some of them are experiencing HEAT or rather being forced to experience HEAT.

Some of them were left to conceive and give birth on the spot, the children were then taken to an orphanage.

"Does the orphanage also belong to Madam Rose?" Sage asked Joshua who was curled up on the sofa in the room, while Ian was drinking the hot coffee, he was much calmer than before but still did not feel calm.

"Madam Rose built that orphanage to raise the children of those Omegas, and just as your say, after turning eighteen, those children, she make them as a prostitute."

Sage sighed, the scale of the witch woman’s human trafficking was so large beyond his expectations. When Ian contacted him and explained what happened to Gruvv and Omega he was quite surprised, Ian had never told him about Shiloh. Therefore he knew nothing about Gruvv living with Shiloh, Gil Rudapriya’s Omega son.

Even after further investigation there was a possibility that Gruvv and Shiloh were a destined mate. He remember how he finally got Elina’s contact and asked her many questions.

"It’s just a possibility, but Mr. Shiloh can smell Mr. Gruvv’s pheromones that others can’t, that’s one of the characteristics of a destined mate. We’re waiting to see if Mr. Gruvv can also smell Mr. Shiloh’s scent differently as well." So said Elina when Sage asked her over the phone.

It was a bit of a surprise, again because Shiloh is Gil Rudapriya’s son. The man who destroyed the Dhurudatta family. The man laundered money even within the company as the Rudapriyas were the Dhurudatta family’s personal accountants at the time.

Sage stroked the top of Ian’s head, the man turned his head and their eyes met. A smile spread across the man’s frightened face, facing a dominant alpha who was experiencing RUT must be so hard even though it was his own son. The pheromones released by dominant alphas when experiencing RUT are much more intense than other alphas.

Sage took Ian’s hand, fiddling with his fingers, he could see the worry still on his husband’s face.

"Mr. Rudapriya’s guardian?" The nurse walked into the room and made Ian and Sage turn their heads quickly.

"How is he?" Ian asked carefully.

"We will be conducting a major surgery for Mr. Rudapriya, please fill out the consent here."

Sage could feel his husband’s body stiffen after hear that.

"Surgery?"

"His condition is so critical, the wounds to his head and other parts are causing him to bleed out. We will also be removing his Hanahaki."

"Wait, didn’t Shiloh not want to do the surgery?" Asked Joshua who was now sitting listening to the nurse’s explanation.

"If it’s not taken out it will be a problem, our top priority is just to save the patient."

Sage glanced at Ian who looked hesitant, he could not let this matter drag on, Sage took over the consent letter and signed it. He didn’t want anything much worse to happen.

Joshua did not say anything when Sage signed the consent letter. They understood that their main goal was to save Shiloh after all.

Cross called afterwards, telling him that everything was done and he asked about Gruvv’s condition. Andrew arrived at the room after two hour, Gruvv was given a large dose of suppressant because he had RUT multiple times even in an unconscious state.

"The trigger is RUT that hasn’t happened in a long time. It will probably continue to happen in a few weeks or months, we hope to resolve it quickly. He also has a high fever."

After a six-hour surgery Shiloh returned to the room. Sage was quite surprised to see how handsome the boy was and looked so young, despite his severe condition and wounds everywhere he still looked so handsome.

Ian did not allow anyone to enter the room because after an hour of being in the room Shiloh experienced HEAT due to the influence of Gruvv pheromones spread on that floor. It was another challenge because it could lead to other complications for Shiloh.

However, Madam Rose’s death was not the end of the world. Louis Baxter called and said that the alleged money laundering was true, but to prove that Mosha Gilmore, Arthur Milner, or Shem Powers were involved in the Gil Rudapriya money laundering would require a lot of evidence and time.

They also need to find Gil Rudapriya.

"The office where PACKAGE was supposed to operate is empty." Cross said on the other end of the line to Ian, Gil had escaped and now they had to go after him.

All this was happening so fast and Ian was trying to solve it. He was sure Gil Rudapriya wouldn’t keep quiet because the news that Shiloh was Gruvv’s Omega would spread quickly. That meant the entire Dhurudatta family would be in danger especially since Gil was working with the gang from elsewhere.

And then, a month just passed by.
