The buildings that we thought where they kept Shiloh were investigated, but judging from the video that Madam Rose sent us, an basement with many rooms like that it’s impossible to build in a crowded downtown.

Panic attacks still get me several times, I almost lost it and still tried to control it. Andrew was still at my house while Elina was sent home due to her condition, she couldn’t stop crying, worry for Shiloh.

The video that Madam Rose sent showed a lot of flower petals scattered around Shiloh, which explained that Shiloh vomited a lot. My head was so noisy every time George told Shin that there was no sign of that bastard, Rose.

Meanwhile, Father, Cross and I were still discussing the deal with her.

"I think finishing her off is the only way." I said in the middle of Father and Cross’s discussion, both looked at me.

Father pressed his back against the chair he was sitting on, he adjusted the glasses perched on his nose and glanced at Joshua, "See? Your brothers chose a violence rather than using their brains." He said as he tapped his own head with his finger.

Joshua shrugged his shoulders, munching on his chocolate bar ⏤I don’t know how many chocolates he ate⏤ guess he already decided, rather die of diabetes than die of a damaged lung. A choice that could be either wise or foolish.

"She’s going to use one of the nightclubs in Apollo to selling the Omega she has, I also don’t know if she’ll sell drugs inside the club. Then do we have any choice but to finish her?" I said, taking one cigarette and smoking it, I hope this nicotine can ease my anxiety because this damn tranquilizer doesn’t seem to work well.

"They will kill Shiloh first before you attack them." Father flashed an annoying smile after saying that.

I knew that storming and ransacking their base would put Shiloh in a lot of danger. Moreover, now we still didn’t know where he was, the clock was ticking, it would soon be midnight and Rose would ask the deal to have access to a nightclub in APOLLO. I had to do something immediately.

Shiloh was not treated well there, he only had a scarf that had my pheromone. That scarf would sooner or later be ineffective to cover the other Alpha’s pheromone. He’ll be in danger.

And hearing Father’s talking about Gil gave me goosebumps, everything Father said and what I read in the file that George gave me were exactly the same.

Gil killed his family members fifteen years ago, RUDA accounting firm belongs to the extended Rudapriya family. Twenty years ago there was a massacre at the Rudapriya family office and home with unknown motive, all Rudapriya family members died on the spot some lived but many became disabled. The only survivor was Gil because he was on leave and traveling abroad with his family.

The police could not investigate further, Gil’s alibi and motives could not make him as a suspect. After that, the accountant’s office was held by him. The family that was still alive, that bastard moved them to another country.

"Shiloh’s mother Graciella is from Sherburne family." Father said in the middle of the discussion, he was reading the file Shin had give him regarding all the buildings and areas owned by Madam Rose.

"Sherburne? Isn’t that the elite family from your country, Father?" Cross asked.

Father nodded, "I know her, she was married into Rudapriya family for business. But afterwards her family announced that they were removing Sherburne name from Graciella. They wrote off Graciella as their daughter."

"Why?" I asked, turning to Father out of curiosity. This story wasn’t in the file George had given me.

"I guess it’s because they already know Gil is working with several gangs and underground businessmen. Sherburne is the most reputable and clean family in my country, no one can touch them including Harding family. One bad thing will give them a bad reputation, I guess that’s why they prefer to throw away their daughter. Also, they work for the government. After their release the news about Graciella it wasn’t long before the massacre happened."

What Father said bothered me a lot. Is it true that Shiloh has been living good all this time? His mother must have some trauma of her own and and I don’t think his mom would be okay after being discarded by her own family and living with a psychopath.

"Graciella’s passed away wasn’t due to illness either, she committed suicide."

I’m massaging my forehead. How much more pain must Shiloh got besides physical and mental? He knew nothing about his mother’s death and thought his mother died because of illness.

"I think Gil told Rose about one of the clubs in APOLLO that she could use to sell drugs and open a brothel inside the club." I said as I remembered something. One year ago Milner family suddenly contacted George and asked to schedule a meeting with me, it turned out that they were asking for permission to build a club in APOLLO. The Milner family is one of the influential government families in this country, Dhurudatta owe them a lot because they also provide a lot of backdoor access for our underground businesses.

"Is there someone you suspect?" Asked Father, he took a sip of the hot coffee in the cup Ave had just served.

"Milner?" Cross guessed right, he sighed when I nodded. "No, not Milner. I know you told me after our conversation on the phone that night. I think there’s far more you could suspect, Shem Powers for example?" Cross said as he pointed to the file containing the massive corruption committed by Shem Powers a few years ago, which coincided with the announcement of the Rudapriya family’s bankruptcy.

I took the file and read the contents, it said that the Rudapriya family was the only accounting firm that handled all of Shem Powers’ ledgers, but during the investigation Gil Rudapriya denied that he knew anything and was just doing his job as an accountant.

Again, there was no evidence that Gil was involved.

Father sitting on his chin and tapped the table, his blue eyes leering and glancing at Joshua, "Hey, Josh. Did you find any information about Gil’s new business??"

Joshua took his tablet and checked something on it, then showed it to us. There were some photos showing a building and also a lot of Gil’s photos.

"One of my informants was stalking him before he disappeared without a trace, he went to that building several times. Every month there is money coming in from that company building in his account book history, I think he started his business there." Joshua said.

Father frowned, "Isn’t this Gilmore’s office building?"

I paused for a moment, then realized what Father was saying, "Oh, no, no way." I babbled.

"Right, that’s Gilmore’s office building. And, Mosha Gilmore opened a new business in that office called PACKAGE. It opened right after Gil took out a big loan in Dhurudatta."

I covered my face with both hands, while Father and Cross stared at each other.

Of course they can’t just say what they have to say, because Mosha Gilmore was my ex-fiancé ten years ago. Yes, Dad forced me to get married and go on a blind date. Of course I refused. But bad things happened, my relationship with Mosha Gilmore was not good. To be more precise, it got worse after we met on a blind date.

"Damn it, why did that bastard have to work with Mosha Gilmore?" I muttered while massaging my head.

"Hey, hey, this doesn’t mean he’s related to Mosha Gilmore, right? You can ask her first. Because until now, Shem Powers’ corruption money has not been found, about $2,440,000." Cross showed the file he had been holding.

It was written that his fuel oil corruption in government offices reached ten million dollars and only seven something million dollars was found. The police did not find the rest and could not even track down where he kept the money. Meanwhile, Shem Powers admitted that he only took eight million dollars.

"If Mosha Gilmore is involved, PACKAGE was set up to launder Shem Powers’ corruption money and lending money to Dhurudatta is just a cover for that money laundering." Joshua said, he glanced at me while drinking the hot chocolate in his cup.

"This is crazy, I can’t believe that Gilmore knew about this. I mean, her family’s reputation is so good. Father, you even talked me into marrying her?!" I said with a little shout while pointing both my hands at him.

Father sighed, "There are three people here that we suspect are involved with Madam Rose and Gil, first is the Milner family. More precisely, Arthur Milner then Shem Powers and also Mosha Gilmore. You should contact Gilmore, if she is involved with this we can find out where Shiloh is. I’m sure Rose didn’t take the kid to her place, she must have kept the kid somewhere else we don’t know."

I sighed. Damn it, if Father brings Shiloh’s name into this. I can’t avoid it. I’m pressed for time to find him and uncover all the things Gil is up to.
