Asmodeus brushed Serena’s hair to the side before kissing her gently. The sunlight started to fade not long after he woke up. "I bet the other’s are mad..." He spent hours enjoying sex with Serena instead of greeting his other future wives.

They would not let this go.

"Baltimore is now in a dangerous situation... Mephisto is missing, and the mainland’s troops will arrive in a matter of days."

"So you do know things are bad?"

Vinea’s charming voice came from the balcony.

She wore an elegant black and red nightgown, the low dip of her chest too alluring to ignore.

"Of course, but Serena is also my wife... I wasn’t going to ignore her either." He stepped forward, quickly taking Vinea into his arms and holding her tight. "All of you are precious to me. Are you here to take me to the others?"

"Hmmm~ maybe I just want to keep you for myself."

He didn’t mind her being a little selfish—it was the same for all his women. If he could give them peace of mind with a bit of time and skinship, he would.

Asmodeus lifted her chin. Vinea’s lips shone in the moonlight, alluring and soft.

"Then shall I let myself be kept?" He chuckled, leaning closer, the subtle scent of sweat and milk filled his nose.

"Mmmm." She moaned softly, her lips parting as he kissed her gently.

They pulled apart with a quick peck, but before he could leave, she wrapped her arms around him, giving him a deeper kiss.

However, hundreds, no thousands, of glistening silver threads poured through the open balcony door, wrapping both of them in a cocoon-like spider’s web.

"You’ve some explaining to do. V-I-N-E-A!"

The voice was low, feral and dangerous... but also a little playful.

"Wait... Lumina, this is all just a misunderstanding!"

Asmodeus sat in a comfortable chair, surrounded by beautiful women.

Various dishes and foods lay on the table, with mugs of chilled water and beer for Asmodeus.

Erika, Levia, Velvet, Alice, Sariel, Riel, and, of course, Lumina and Vinea... the only mission people were Serena, who struggled to move, and Asmodea, who seemed to be busy.

Paul chose to spend the night with his friends preparing the adventurers for what might happen next, while Simon likely went to Ygrenne.

It seems their relationship is serious...

"So, what do you think we should do?" He asked the women at the table.

Although powerful himself, Asmodeus lacked perfect tactical and strategic skills to turn any battle in his favour or limit casualties. With the limited number of knights who hadn’t fought a naval battle, he couldn’t help but have doubts.

Alice leaned forward. "I believe you have no plans to ally yourself with the mainland humans, right?" She brushed her black hair behind her ear, focusing on his reactions. "You are strong enough to kill Mephisto... and now the knights are invading the city are gone. Why not let us fight?"

"I will take charge." Velvet added, hitting her chest.

He found the two women’s attitudes comforting, but Asmodeus wondered how the people of Baltimore felt about this.

"Can we just take over this neutral city without major issues?" He asked Alice, who knew the politics of Grigor best.

Alice’s lips twisted as she contemplated a proper answer.

"A neutral city is fine, but if one of the three superpowers invades... or gets tired of the whole status quo without the previous threat, it would be pointless." She leaned back, placing her feet on the table, "Well, if the man married to the royal family of each kingdom were to rule it... Isn’t that still technically neutral?" Her eyes gleamed when she glanced at him.

"Hmm~ I suppose." He sighed.

I had planned to do so, but the issue with Alan has led King Avandar to doubt me.

"The people should be happy, since they saw us fighting I am sure they already know who saved them." Erika shrugged, as someone from the previous world with Asmodeus. She understood just how much propaganda and media influenced people.

"If we stay in this city, we can also defend against any invaders from the mainland."

She looked up with a smile.

"Do you think we can handle splitting our forces in the north and here? Whoever chooses to stay won’t be able to sleep with darling, isn’t that a hellish sentence!?" Vinea complained.

"Don’t we have Ciela and the mages working on a teleportation altar?" Leviathan corrected her.

Asmodeus watched the various women he loved discuss ideas on how to deal with the situation, but hearing them all agree to help him take over Baltimore and offer support was more than enough.

"Do you think our beloved would neglect those who stay in Baltimore?"

"Never!" Yumiko hissed, "It’s the closest city to all three kingdoms!"

Yuina, her twin now an empress, nodded, "If darling stays in this city, then can’t he teleport to any of the different capitals to visit those who cannot leave their throne?"

He knew that Yuina, as the empress of the beast empire, couldn’t leave her land for too long, even with Aki and other trusted members filling in for her.

"Then let’s take Baltimore."

Asmodeus planned to do so from the start, but he at least wanted to hear his future wives accept and agree with him or offer vital feedback that could help him improve his idea.

"How do you plan to manage it, Asmodeus?" Riel asked with a polite tone.

"I shall have the Demon Knights train in Baltimore, with the strongest of my wives remaining here with me during the summer and autumn months of the year, then I will head to the north during winter and spring."

The women looked around the table, with Yumiko nodding and giving the answer.

"I think we should leave four women each year to help manage the territory with you. Then the other’s will remain in the north and prepare and educate our children awaiting your return."

Asmodeus touched his chin, "I will make trips to the north during my time in the south, but also the same while in the north... sometimes it might only be a week or a few days. Does this lighten your worries?" He observed the women who seemed most devastated and worried about this plan.

Alice, Velvet and Leviathan.

I didn’t think that Alice and Velvet wanted to be with me so much...

"As for who gets to stay here in Baltimore first?"

He looked at the group of women and sighed. "I’ll decide after dealing with the mainland."

"...true we shouldn’t count our eggs before they hatch."

"Master, do you need me and Riel to help with that bad guy?" Sariel asked, bringing the attention to Mephisto and the other issue.

"Also, that possession you mention sounds dangerous... since it effected Vinea maybe apart from me and Sariel the others might be in danger of succuming to that power." Riel added.

"Hmmm..." Asmodeus contemplated how to deal with the fallen god.

"Do you think he will show up?" Velvet asked. Eyes glowing with fighting spirit.

Asmodeus remembered Mephisto’s words and smiled, showing his fangs. "He said I was his vessel.. so he’ll appear."

He closed his eyes and started to organise his thoughts.

"Velvet, Levia and Vinea, please spread the knights and prepare for the future battle. If you need anything, seek out that trader I mentioned. He is someone who you must treat with respect, his wife Martha should help you out."

He glanced at Alice, Yumiko and Sariel.

"Sariel and Riel, help Erika and the adventurers get ready. Alice , Yuina and Yumiko, please stay here with me."

"Yes!" Yuina stood up with delight upon hearing his request.

"Are we going to do something naughty?"

"I am afraid it’s nothing so fun."

Yuina deflated with a disappointed frown. "Oh..."

Asmodeus shook his head, "if we managed to get things done on time, then I will reward you. This applies to everyone and the tasks we need to complete. Repairing the docks, and slum area is the priority so feel free to use the money I’ve left in the vault to do so, Alice, Velvet and Yumiko I leave that to you."

He glanced at the women, who all looked pleased with their duties.

"I want the slums cleared for a plan and the dock repaired immediately... remember the enemy is skilled in naval battle, while we have zero experience. If possible try to find some Baltimore sailors for tips and information."

This amount was enough for now.

"With that said... should we enjoy the food?" He continued.

"Ah! I am starving!" Yuina cried out, quickly grabbing a plate and piling as many delicious-looking dishes onto it as she could.

"Hahaha... yes, let’s eat." Erika laughed, grabbing her plate. "I can’t believe the food here is so good..."

Asmodeus smiled and watched all his future wives begin filling their bellies.

Many of them had eaten strange foods before they became pregnant, and now they found sour and bitter flavours unappealing, even as they once loved sweet and creamy textures. Alice avoided her favourite fish.

It was interesting to watch the women he loved evolve around him.

He couldn’t help but chuckle at the strange thoughts filling his mind.

The woman ate while he slowly sipped his beer.

A battle was coming, and he wanted them all to be fresh and relaxed when it came.
