Chapter 363: Chapter 363 Pollen Chapter 363: Chapter 363 Pollen “Ah!”

Roger suddenly clasped his head and let out a cry of pain, startling Steve who was standing beside him into a shiver.

Steve’s complexion changed dramatically as he quickly checked Roger’s condition.

“What’s wrong? What happened?”

Once it was clear that Roger hadn’t been hurt by the aftermath of the battle, Steve breathed a sigh of relief, but the pain in Roger’s body not only did not subside– it seemed to intensify.

“My head hurts so much, I think I saw something…”

“Palaces, crowns, and roses!”

“It’s so hot, my body feels incredibly hot, as if something in the palace is drawing me in!”

Fighting Azumani, who was multitasking, heard Roger’s words and, after a brief consideration, he instructed:

“Steve and Evelyn, take Geralt to the entrance, and make sure to protect him. Since he is a descendant of the Royal Family, the blood coursing through his veins might help us find a way to open the door.”

“The Royal Family? Who?”

The Witch’s figure swept quickly through the sky, as she shot out Magic Beams from her hands.

Azumani increased the rate of his attacks, trying to draw the Tree People blocking the door away in another direction.

Steve supporting Roger’s body, Roger with both hands on his head, all his weight bearing down on Steve.

“Why is he so heavy?”

Steve’s face changed color as the strength flowing from Roger’s body was overwhelming him.

“Evelyn, come help quickly, this guy, I don’t know what’s wrong with him, is incredibly heavy.”

With Evelyn’s help, Steve found the burden much lighter; however, when Roger was close to the Tree People, the monster they were fighting suddenly abandoned Azumani, flailing vines in hand, and smashed directly towards the trio.

“Get out of the way!”

At the crucial moment, Evelyn hugged Roger and leaped to the side, but when she was ready to hold Roger, she found that the man in front of her was rooted to the ground like a pillar of steel.

She pushed with all her might yet didn’t budge, and as the giant arm fell from midair and was about to crush her, Evelyn let out a cry of despair.

What about Roger at that moment?

He still had his hands on his head, looking tortured by pain.

“Bang!”

Roger was prepared; he calculated the angle and pretended to fall forward in panic, and at that moment, the falling arm grazed his body.

Azumani’s vision went dark– if the key figure of a prince died now, their next actions would be incredibly arduous.

A loud noise came through; Roger’s body was flung away, rolling several times on the ground. However, just when everyone thought this country bumpkin was smashed into a pancake, Roger who was lying on the ground suddenly sprang up.

“What’s happening?”

“Who pushed me?”

Azumani was first startled, but then his eyes burst with ecstasy.

“Indeed, the princes in fairytales are always key!”

“He is a member of the Royal Family, and perhaps he possesses some mysterious power that can protect him from these monsters!”

“What are you two waiting for? Hurry up and take him to the door!”

Azumani shouted loudly.

But at that moment, as Steve and the other person were preparing to approach, they were stopped by the Tree People who had suddenly gone mad.

Meanwhile, Roger stumbled to the door.

The ancient wooden door was covered with a layer of pale red glow, and its grain was carved with countless rose patterns.

Taking advantage of everyone’s lack of attention, Roger quietly pulled out the rose-shaped brooch he had obtained from the mayor’s house.

The brooch’s tip touched the pale red glow.

Buzz buzz buzz!

Like a popped bubble, the pale red glow first swelled and then completely burst.

Roger was knocked to the ground by the force, he looked up, and a crack appeared in the once tightly closed door.

“The door’s open, the door’s open!”

Roger shouted loudly.

“Haha, I truly am the Destined Child!”

He suddenly stood up and pushed the door open.

“Stop fighting, quickly follow me inside!”

The Witch yelled loudly, riding her broomstick as she charged in first.

Azumani and Evelyn followed closely behind, and finally, there was Steve, looking completely disheveled, just as the large door was closing, a thick vine pierced through the gap.

Roger stood calmly in his place, without any defense.

But before the vine could approach, a figure appeared in front of Roger.

It was Azumani.

With a wave of his wooden staff, he formed a defense, blocking the Tree People’s final attack.

“Protect His Royal Highness well!”

Azumani offered an appropriate flattery.

Once they were completely safe, they finally had time to look around at their environment.

Unlike the outer area, where vines wrapped around trees and covered the sky.

Inside the high walls, although also enveloped by green plants, it was much more refined by comparison.

Roger could even make out the basic structure within.

The roads were overgrown with plants, with green houses on both sides, and at the end of the road, the palace gates were open, seemingly welcoming the impending visitors at any time.

“This is the deepest secret of Sleeping Valley!” Azumani restrained his excitement, his gaze cautious as he glanced at the Witch floating in mid-air.

“What do we do next?”

“Let’s search for the secrets within this city, perhaps by breaking the curse, we can leave this place.”

The fragile alliance completely disintegrated, as the Witch rode her broomstick towards the distant palace.

Just then, the first ray of sunlight from the horizon struck the earth, and immediately the entire palace began to tremble along with it.

The trembling spread from the palace throughout the entire city.

The next moment, the whole Sleeping Valley seemed to come to life with the morning sun!

The vines and plants wrapped around the houses gradually began to retreat, those bizarre plants slowly shrank back into the soil.

Crack! Crack!

The strange plants split open, revealing sleepers encapsulated within!

“Has the curse been broken?”

Roger’s face lit up with joy as he lifted his head.

“It must be because of my arrival!”

The plants receded quicker and quicker, the city returned to its original state, and those who were originally wrapped inside the plants also twitched their eyes, as if they might awake from their slumber at any moment.

“According to legend, Sleeping Valley has existed for many years, yet even so, the people within still retain their original features.”

“What kind of spell is this?”

But just when everyone thought the city’s curse had been lifted and everything would return to normal.

A loud noise suddenly came from afar.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The dome at the top of the palace opened like the petals of a flower, and under the reflection of the sun, an enormous rose suddenly bloomed.

In an instant, pink pollen spread like fog.

In the area enveloped by the pollen, plants grew rapidly, vines entwined and once again covered the houses.

Roger even saw a person who had woken up early being entangled by a vine while running, immediately wrapped up layer by layer, forming a bizarre plant!

With the appearance of the red pollen, the city, which was about to awaken, was once again dragged into sleep!

“Hold your breath, let’s get out of here quickly!”

Azumani’s face turned pale as he bellowed.
