Chapter 315 - Chapter 315 Chapter 315 Get the Hell Away

Chapter 315: Chapter 315: Get the Hell Away Chapter 315: Chapter 315: Get the Hell Away “What did you say?!”

“You, dead woman!”

Goway clenched her fists, ready to fly into a fight at any moment, and Roger rushed forward, straining to pull Goway away from Amanda’s side.

Amanda had her hands in her pockets the whole time, not even glancing at Goway, and this disregard only fueled the girl’s fury.

“Damn it, I am the master here!”

Roger had not expected that Amanda, who was originally gentle and the least confrontational, would undergo such an earth-shattering transformation after the Awakening Ceremony.

“You really have changed a lot.”

After barely calming Goway down, Roger found Amanda again; they clearly could not stay in the manor any longer, or these two women might actually come to blows.

“This can’t be called a change, but a rather miraculous experience, as if a door has been opened.”

“I’ve found the real me!”

Amanda smiled slightly, clenching her fists, and Roger noticed flames burning in the girl’s eyes.

After an initial awkwardness, the two soon became comfortable with each other, and Roger asked Amanda about life in Baytown and how Adeline was doing.

The Sheriff had been of great help to Roger when he first integrated into this world, and gradually, as they communicated, Roger also began to adapt to some of Amanda’s changes.

Indeed, as Amanda had said, this transformation of her personality wasn’t abrupt or without reason.

It was more like another side of a person unmasked and unconcerned, completely oneself.

In fact, interacting with this Amanda was somewhat delightful.

“Some things happened in the Hunters Guild, causing changes in New Moon City. Teacher Margaret said it was no longer suitable for us.”

“After the awakening, all of us left Bordeaux.”

“Magicians pay more attention to bloodline inheritance than nationality. Besides being a member of the Armenia Sorcerer’s Association, our teacher is also a mentor at the Engelman Royal Sorcerer’s Academy.”

“Before leaving, I told my mother that I was going to Europe to start a new learning journey.”

Amanda laughed.

“I didn’t lie about this issue, it’s just that I wasn’t going to study acting, but spells.”

Roger was amazed at the transcendent talents Amanda displayed through her bloodline. At this stage, Amanda wasn’t sure which bloodline she had awakened.

But from the potential and purity she had shown so far, Amanda had surpassed all her peers. If nothing unexpected happened, she would soon become Margaret’s official disciple.

“Engelman Royal Sorcerer’s Academy.”

Roger made a note of this address.

According to Amanda, the Sorcerer Academy couldn’t be found in the real world; it existed in a special realm.

The two left the manor and strolled casually along the paths by the street.

The architectural style of Blair County was diverse, even a bit surreal with magical elements, and there was a winding river and a large expanse of wetlands and forests in the city.

The slow pace of life made it seem like a fairy tale world.

The two wandered aimlessly, sharing their experiences, and occasional eye contact revealed the passion in each other’s gaze.

Roger had a premonition that something was bound to happen tonight.

But what he didn’t know was that the events of that evening would be partly what he predicted and partly what he didn’t.

Two figures blocked their path, and Roger’s gaze shifted from a well-endowed body to recognize the woman before him.

“Inola.”

Amanda frowned slightly.

“I shouldn’t need to remind you, we did not come here for leisure.”

Inola gave Roger a once-over, her eyes carrying a hint of condescension.

Two months ago, she could have been considered an Apprentice Sorcerer, half a step into the Transcendent threshold, while at that time, Roger was just an ordinary Demon Hunter.

When she was in a good mood, she might even tease him a bit.

But two months later, after Inola had her bloodline awakening, even though Roger had entered the Transcendent, he was merely a Demonic Hunter.

It can be said that the differences in bloodline levels ensured that the gap between them would only grow wider, and from this perspective, Inola indeed had a reason to be proud.

“When do we depart?”

An ominous voice carried over, spoken by the man standing beside Inola. His cheeks were gaunt, his skin pale, and his pupils a light yellow.

Though not particularly muscular, he was sufficiently tall and straight, and with a handsome face to boot–a sight that would undoubtedly catch the attention of many women on the street.

As he spoke, Roger noticed the man’s tongue was thin, with the tip seemingly split into two like a snake’s.

The man’s greedy gaze swept over Amanda as he suddenly stepped forward, positioning himself in front of Inola.

“Beautiful lady, send away this useless fellow by your side. I alone am enough to help you complete the task.”

His mouth split into a smile, revealing his stark white teeth, “You can come at me one by one.”

“I’m very confident in myself. It doesn’t matter who comes first, you or Inola.”

His words were laden with double meaning.

“Rober, what are you doing?”

Inola held back her anger, “Don’t forget what you promised me.”

“How could I?”

Rober shrugged.

“A Lava Flower, this plant thrives near volcanic craters, occasionally guarded by some monsters.”

He looked back at Inola.

“Trust in my strength.”

He chuckled, “You’ve just experienced it, haven’t you?”

Inola’s complexion turned exceedingly ugly.

Roger scratched his head, glanced at Amanda, and through the conversation of the others, he seemed to grasp something.

“You all go ahead.”

Amanda said decisively, “I’ll reach the task location by myself first thing tomorrow morning.”

Inola was initially taken aback but then a flicker of joy crossed her eyes, which she quickly concealed.

“How can that be? This is not an ordinary task, the teacher specifically instructed us to act together.”

“We’ve already delayed here for some time; we must head to the designated place immediately…”

“No need to say more, I understand.”

“I will personally explain the rest to the teacher.”

“Just go.”

Amanda was firm.

“Since you insist, we’ll split up. Rober and I will go get the Lava Flower, and you can take care of the other item.”

Inola spoke as if with good intentions.

“No problem.”

Amanda nodded without hesitation.

“Then it’s settled. But if you don’t complete the task…”

“I will take full responsibility for the consequences.”

Inola revealed a satisfied smile.

“Alright, Rober, since Amanda wants to stay here for her lover, let’s be on our way.”

Inola chuckled softly.

But when she turned around, she found her male companion hadn’t moved.

Rober took a deep breath, a strange light flickering in his yellow pupils, “Beautiful lady, I like that on you…”

“Boom!”

In the next second, a violent gush of air hit them head-on, and Rober was sent flying like a cannonball, his body crashing through the trees seven or eight meters away.

Roger silently withdrew his hand.

“I hope you can roll far away.”
