Chapter 4756: Chapter 3829: The School Doctor’s "Daily Routine" (7)
On the other side, the three Batmans were brought to the principal’s office by Strange. Just as Strange was about to start scolding them, Bruce interrupted him before he could open his mouth, saying, "I didn’t see anything in the forbidden book area."
Immediately, all three of their gazes were fixed on his face.
Strange instantly realized that something was wrong. He had some understanding of what kind of person Batman is — a dangerous paranoid and an incurable sufferer of persecution delusions. And very aptly, the knowledge that could be found in the forbidden book area, besides the history of the magic realm, also includes various evil and dangerous ways to contact Demon Gods.
Should Batman get hold of these things... Strange couldn’t dare imagine what kind of mess they would create.
This is a threat, isn’t it? This is definitely a threat, right?
Strange looked at Bruce. Bruce’s gaze remained clear, with a hint of an imperceptible smile. Strange took a deep breath and pointed to the door.
"It’s late, I’m going to sleep now, bye-bye." Bruce said while walking, even helping them close the door.
"What’s in the forbidden book area?" Primary Universe Batman asked, looking at Strange.
"What kind of attitude is this?" Strange furrowed his brows and said, "In any case, I am the principal of this school, and also your professor. You violated school rules on your first day and caused such a big trouble. Shouldn’t you give me an explanation?"
"How big of a trouble we caused depends on the value of the things in the forbidden book area," Arkham Batman stared at him and said.
Strange cursed Bruce a million times in his heart for stirring things up. If it weren’t for him, these two wouldn’t be fixated on this issue.
"That’s none of your business," Strange said, "there it records much of the history of the magic realm..."
His intention was to emphasize that the value of the books in the forbidden book area was primarily historical. Yet, he heard Primary Universe Batman say, "And we just so happen to be very interested in history. Shall we discuss it?"
"It’s nighttime now; you should be in your dorm sleeping."
"No, when a person is in a heightened state of longing for knowledge, they really can’t sleep," Primary Universe Batman said. "We are eager to know how your universe’s magic realm reached such high achievements under your leadership..."
"Don’t give me that nonsense." Strange was slightly annoyed. He waved his robe sleeve dismissively and said, "Go back to your dorms to sleep."
The two had no choice but to leave. It wasn’t until they left that Strange realized: What was it he had called them to the office for again?
Oh right, wasn’t he planning to give them a good scolding? How did he end up letting them go just like that?
These cunning Batmans!
At the school clinic, Night Owl had left too. Shiller glanced at the clock on the wall — it was late, nearly dawn, but since he wasn’t a professor, the school doctor wouldn’t need to be up early for classes. He thought he could catch a few more hours of sleep, so he went back to the rest area above the office to continue sleeping.
Shiller was awakened by a knocking sound. Groggily sitting up, he looked at the dim morning light outside the window, even wondering if he had slept an entire day and night. "Who’s knocking this early?"
He had no choice but to get up. Opening the door, he saw Wanda’s somewhat exasperated face.
"Gosh, Doctor, if you don’t get up soon, I’m going to break in," Wanda said. "Go check the ward quickly, there are several injured."
Shiller looked at Wanda, on the verge of speaking but stopping short. Seeing her guilty expression, he couldn’t say much more, so he hurriedly changed clothes and went downstairs. The entrance to the ward was bustling — Strange, Hippo Goddess, Jarvis, and Lucifer were all present.
Shiller truly couldn’t understand how anyone could get injured under their supervision. But as soon as he walked into the ward and saw the bed, he understood — no one was lying in the bed.
"Have you all gone crazy?" Shiller turned to look at the group by the door and asked, "Or am I the one who’s gone mad?"
"I’m afraid it’s the latter. Take a closer look," Strange said irritably.
Shiller couldn’t believe it; he turned back to look at the hospital bed again but still didn’t see anything. He rubbed his eyes vigorously, walked over, and looked once more to discover — lying on the bed was Lego Batman.
Isn’t this a coincidence? The uniform of the academy that Lego Batman was sent to is brown, and so is the bedding used in the school clinic. Plus, Lego Batman is only about the size of an adult’s palm. Shiller, still not fully awake, thought it was a ghost at first glance.
"So, you all gathered here early in the morning just to watch me treat a plastic figurine?" Shiller’s eyes scanned back and forth between the groups, finally landing on Lego Batman as he said, "Where does it hurt?"
Lego Batman extended an arm towards him. Shiller leaned in, looking from various angles, but couldn’t figure out what was wrong. He went to the side, took out a monocle, and put it on, only to still find nothing, then rummaged through the drawers for a magnifying glass...
"Stop looking; he’s hurt in the waist." Strange said, "Clearly, Saturn Academy didn’t have any combat classes today, yet he sneaked into Neptune Academy’s class. Even the smallest Magic Wand is three times his size, but he insisted on grabbing one, and ended up being knocked flat."
"Magic Wands are magical creations; I can’t say for sure that they don’t affect plastic products," Wanda said apologetically. "This was my first class. I was a bit nervous, preoccupied with recalling lesson plans. This student’s body type is rather small, and I didn’t notice him sneaking in. You better examine him quickly, Doctor."
Shiller slightly helplessly covered his forehead, picked up the Lego Batman and placed it in his hand, making him lie down, then took out a monocle and magnifying glass and looked for a long time, discovering that Lego Batman’s waist was indeed dented.
Shiller poked it with his fingertip. Lego Batman let out a scream and "whoosh," shot up to the ceiling — where there was a huge chandelier made up of over 200 candles.
Everyone stood under the chandelier looking up. JARVIS hesitated, but still objectively said, "I don’t think he really needs to learn magic."
"Yeah, how did he get up that high?" The Hippo Goddess was also puzzled.
Lego Batman’s pants got caught on one of the sharp protruding decorations of a candlestick, leaving him hanging in mid-air, waving his short limbs and shouting, "Don’t just stand there watching, get me down!"
Strange waved his hand, and the magic cloak flew out, floating near the chandelier. Shiller waved and said, "Jump down!"
Lego Batman helplessly waved his limbs again and continued to shout, "I’m stuck, I can’t jump!"
Wanda quickly reached out a hand, using the power of Scarlet to snap off the sharp protrusion that had caught his pants. Lego Batman flailed as he fell, caught by the cloak, and managed to come down.
Shiller held Lego Batman in his hand again but was a bit troubled looking at the injury on his waist. So he could only hold Lego Batman and look at Strange, saying, "Mr. Godhand, do you have any insights?"
"Plastic is not under God’s jurisdiction," Strange said.
Then he looked at JARVIS. JARVIS was stunned, then said, "He can’t be considered a robot, his material is different from mine."
"What about Reduction Magic?" Shiller looked at the Scarlet Witch again.
"I can try it, but what if I restore it back to raw plastic materials?" Wanda was also a bit hesitant.
Lucifer couldn’t stand it anymore, he snatched the little plastic figure and placed his index finger and thumb on two sides of the square body, then squeezed hard towards the center.
"Crack."
The dent disappeared. Lego Batman rubbed his waist and said, "Magic hands restore the old!"
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Shiller was about to shoo everyone out when he heard someone shouting in the corridor: "Oh no! Principal! Someone is fighting during study class!"
Strange hurriedly rushed out. A little wizard in Neptune Academy’s school uniform stood at the entrance of the school hospital, shouting: "Those adults who always have dark faces are fighting! You guys hurry over and take a look!"
Hearing this, Strange knew he was talking about Batman, waved his hand, and opened a teleportation portal. Several people quickly walked in. Shiller didn’t intend to go, but Strange didn’t plan to let him off either, as the cloak kicked him straight into the portal.
Passing through the portal, the classroom was chaotic. Strange shouted, "Stop it all!"
In fact, it was completely ineffective. He could only use magic to manifest a magic wand and struck it hard on the ground, a gust of wind blew everyone over to the ground.
"What is going on here?" Strange asked, his face darkened.
He abruptly turned his head to stare at the Primary Universe Batman. The Primary Universe Batman wasn’t knocked over, seemingly stepping aside when he saw the light of the teleportation portal. The Arkham Batman looked rather embarrassed, half-kneeling on the ground, looking at Strange with a somewhat unfriendly gaze.
Being stared at like this, Strange felt somewhat nervous. But as it pertained to the principal’s prestige, and considering the seriousness of this group fighting incident, he had to handle it. So after everyone stopped moving, he said, "What exactly happened? Describe the situation briefly. Gwen, you speak."
"This gentleman discovered what he suspected was a case of school bullying and came out to stop it. As a result, the other party somehow conjured a basin of water, pouring it on him, and then the people from two academies started fighting," Gwen pointed at Primary Universe Batman.
Strange finally noticed that Primary Universe Batman was all wet, his uniform seemingly just soaked. Arkham Batman also had one wet sleeve, and just half-kneeled down, seemingly trying to get the water out of his boots.
"School bullying?" Strange squinted, his gaze swept back and forth between the students of the two academies.
This morning’s basic magic class was Wanda’s first class. The students attending were from Mercury Mercury College and Neptune Academy, including Primary Universe Batman, Arkham Batman, Night Owl, Bruce, and others.
Originally, this class was supposed to be about the basic use of magic wands, but because the intruding Lego Batman was injured by a magic wand, Wanda had to hurriedly send him to the school hospital, and this class had to be turned into self-study.
Self-study wasn’t supposed to be a problem, as the magic wands distributed to everyone hadn’t been activated yet, so they couldn’t use magic. Most Batmen were relatively cautious and wouldn’t act rashly without knowing the situation. The Primary Universe Batman didn’t want to provoke Strange’s displeasure and was honestly sitting in his seat, doing nothing.
However, the problem was that these academies didn’t just have Batman—actually, Batman was in the minority. Most were ordinary people with magic talent who were selected this year, like Gwen.
With Gwen’s explanation, Strange finally understood that the root of the problem, namely the so-called school bullying incident, was actually caused by a movie.
