The serene water that surrounded the omega suddenly started to develop ripples. The ripples turned into strong currents that swirled around the stone platform that the omega sat on.

The column of power changed its shape into that of a silvery, gigantic dragon. It let out a mighty roar as it flew around Xie Jianyu.

The currents turned into a deep vortex, and then the water froze abruptly, turning into a wall of ice.

The dragon stopped moving. It hung in the air like a decorative ice statue.

For a split second, nothing happened. And then, the wall of ice started to crumble. The dragon disappeared into a pile of silvery scales.

Xie Jianyu clawed into the edges of the stone platform as he endured the collapse of his meditative array.

When everything settled down, he lay flat on the stone platform while breathing heavily.

Another bottleneck, he thought when he opened his beautiful eyes and gazed at the cave wall in front of him.

Xie Jianyu sighed.

Xie Jianyu put one apple after another into the paper bag. Next to him, the heavenly steed was rather impatient. It tried to eat directly from the paper bag several times.

"What a handsome horse," a voice was heard next to Xie Jianyu.

Xie Jianyu looked at the voice owner with wary eyes. It was none other than Liu Wenyuan, Zhang Fengxi’s soon-to-be wife.

The omega stood in front of him with a gracious smile on his lips.
