Chapter 111: Chapter 111 : Rescuing Liu Wenyuan (8)
"..."
After attacking its own master, the Three Realm Spear returned to its original form.
"Are you alright?" Xie Jianyu asked. He had never seen a weapon attack its own master.
Zhang Fengxi laughed awkwardly. The bite contained no poison. The Three Realm Spear merely bit him out of fury, probably because he used it as bait to win the Fourth Demon King’s trust.
Sometimes Zhang Fengxi wondered if the Three Realm Spear were a woman. It sure had the temper of one.
"I am fine. Let’s go."
Xie Jianyu performed a hand seal in the air.
Winter Frost disengaged itself from his grip, enlarged itself, and then hovered obediently above the ground.
Xie Jianyu stepped onto his sword and said, "Quick. We have to leave now."
Zhang Fengxi carefully repositioned Liu Wenyuan on his back before he stepped on the spot behind Xie Jianyu.
"Ready."
Zhang Fengxi wanted to hold Xie Jianyu’s arm to gain stable footing, but the latter was injured. In the end, he awkwardly grabbed Xie Jianyu’s shoulders instead.
The sword ascended into the air with a wheezing sound, cutting through the Demonic Realm’s bright red sky. When they flew across the First Demon King’s territory, Xie Jianyu felt an inexplicable shiver run down his back.
It prompted him to cast his eyes downward. Hundreds of feets beneath his feet was the riot that they incited.
Amidst the roaring and fighting demons on the battleground, a majestic-looking demon with a humanoid appearance was looking straight in his direction. Despite having two Demon Kings joining forces to take away his throne, he did not look bothered at all.
In fact, he almost looked bored.
When Xie Jianyu met the First Demon King’s eyes, the latter shot the former a wicked grin.
Xie Jianyu quickly averted his eyes. His heart pounded loudly against his chest. It was the First Demon King. He saw them. Was he going to take revenge for the disturbance in the Demonic Realm?
Xie Jianyu crossed the realm borders and brought them all to the Human Realm. Afterward, he toppled off his sword and fell to the ground.
"I need a minute," he gasped as he panted heavily.
Zhang Fengxi nodded in apprehension.
In the first place, Xie Jianyu already wasted a lot of spiritual power when he fought all the demons. And then he had to expend more spiritual power to transport himself and two additional people from one realm to another.
Good thing that Zhang Fengxi had a solution to this problem.
The alpha cast his gaze into the sky and whistled.
A while later, his spiritual mount descended from the Heavenly Realm to answer his summon.
Zhang Fengxi hoisted the unconscious Liu Wenyuan on its back. He then extended his hand at Xie Jianyu, who was sprawled on the ground.
"Come."
Xie Jianyu shook his head instead of taking Zhang Fengxi’s hand.
"You should go first. Ask a physician to take a look at him."
"Don’t be ridiculous," Zhang Fengxi said. "I am not leaving without you."
Xie Jianyu gave him a weak smile.
"I am just too tired. Sorry, I can’t move. Just go without me."
Without wasting another word, Zhang Fengxi hauled the Crown Prince across his shoulder and carried him to the tiger.
"Zhang Fengxi! Let me down!"
Zhang Fengxi responded by landing a smack across Xie Jianyu’s rear side. This seemed to be a standard procedure on how to deal with Xie Jianyu when he was being an immature brat.
Xie Jianyu slapped hard against Zhang Fengxi’s back.
"This is already the second time you dare to hit me!" he cried out in fury. "Not even my father hit me there!!!"
The words earned him another smack.
"That’s why you are such a brat," Zhang Fengxi grunted. "I will teach you some manners in place of His Majesty, the Heavenly Emperor."
Zhang Fengxi put the disgruntled Xie Jianyu behind Liu Wenyuan, and then he placed himself between the two omegas.
"Hold on tight," Zhang Fengxi said to Xie Jianyu after he took Liu Wenyuan into his arms. "Otherwise, you might fall."
Xie Jianyu faced the same problems as Zhang Fengxi when it came to holding on to him. He candidly put his hands on Zhang Fengxi’s shoulders, but it did not come easy for him because he was one head shorter than Zhang Fengxi.
Chuckling, Zhang Fengxi took Xie Jianyu’s smaller hands and wrapped them around his waist.
"I am very huggable," he teased the Crown Prince.
Xie Jianyu pursed his lips.
He took revenge by pinching Zhang Fengxi’s belly.
"You are very fat," he said with a flat tone.
"..."
Nerves popped up at Zhang Fengxi’s temples. Fat?
Him???
"You are really a brat," he snapped at Xie Jianyu. "How dare you call me fat?"
"If you don’t want to be fat, then train properly to get rid of the extra layers in your stomach."
"I have NO extra layers in my stomach! What you are pinching is the one and only stomach layer that anyone has! Including you!"
Xie Jianyu sneered behind Zhang Fengxi’s back.
"Whatever, fatty."
"..."
What followed was a round of bickering over each other’s body fat content. Zhang Fengxi was convinced that Xie Jianyu had more fat in his body. How, otherwise, could he maintain the alluring curves that all omegas had???
They were so immersed in their verbal fight that they did not pay attention to Liu Wenyuan at all.
Lying against Zhang Fengxi’s broad and warm chest, Liu Wenyuan awoke in the middle of their flight.
He quickly shut them again and pretended to be asleep when he heard the ongoing petty arguments between Zhang Fengxi and Xie Jianyu.
A sour feeling arose in Liu Wenyuan’s heart. The sound of his teeth grinding against each other was, thankfully, masked perfectly by the other two’s fervent exchange.
This was how close they were.
Had he not known about the scandalous relationship between these two, and Xie Jianyu’s real gender, he might dismiss it as a ridiculous banter between two alphas.
Now that he knew the truth, he could no longer do so.
Zhang Fengxi was a very attentive lover. He was generous with his affection whenever they met, always showering Liu Wenyuan with gentle kisses and warm hugs. And yet, Zhang Fengxi the lover was only one side of his complex self, the one side that he cared to show Liu Wenyuan.
The only one who had the privilege to experience all facets of Zhang Fengxi’s personality was Xie Jianyu.
The shameless omega.
Liu Wenyuan curled his fingers into fists.
Unforgivable, he thought to himself.
The Crown Prince was a horrendous thief.
