Chapter 743: Chapter 617: Final Destiny

```
Too intense, Lu Jing’s control over her consciousness suddenly interrupted.
The interval was probably a few dozen seconds, and by the time she woke up again, she had returned to the data access pod.
She opened her eyes, and all the perceptions previously accumulated in the data space remained. Now, recompiled by the data mind, they were converted into emotions of equal intensity and directly projected into her nerve cells as she returned to her body.
The intensity was—unprecedented!
Lu Jing let out a strong wail, her body quickly arching, her limbs shaking violently, and unable to control any part of herself.
She then screamed continuously until her whole body went limp, completely drained of even the slightest bit of strength.
Burnt out...
Lu Jing lay there, limbs weak, heart racing.
She was lying on her back in the sealed data access pod, the whole cramped space now filled with an indescribable atmosphere.
It wasn’t until she forcefully pulled the handle that the pod’s hatch slid open, carrying with it the embarrassing air that surrounded her.
Lu Jing sat in the damp spot, frantically climbed out of her position. Rinne had emerged as well, and from the look on her face, she was barely any better off than Lu Jing.
They sat on their respective pod lids, dazed for a while.
Rinne felt embarrassed to ask Lu Jing how she felt.
She heard tiny footsteps outside, so she got up, pushed the door open, and saw Little Fool coming out of the room in blue pajamas, a milk bottle hanging on her waist, wearing little bunny slippers.
She checked the time and realized it was 1 a.m. by now; Lu Jing’s earth-shattering noise must have awoken Little Fool.
Rinne felt terrible and hurried back to get dressed with Lu Jing, regaining a decent appearance before opening the door to check on Little Fool.
"Guabu?" Little Fool looked at the flushed Lu Jing.
"Hey, Xu Cheng, Xu Cheng... Sorry, we woke you up... We’ll take you out to play tomorrow." Rinne leaned forward, hands on her knees, looking down at Little Fool.
"Guaba, Guabu!" Little Fool found the situation unremarkable and went back to her room.
Lu Jing cleared her throat.
"We... We mustn’t talk about this," Lu Jing turned and emphasized. The bizarre events of the night had surpassed their understanding and capacity to deal with, so she quickly made her escape too.
The following day, Lu Jing still hadn’t fully processed the shock of the incident, or perhaps she would never forget it for as long as she lived.
She wandered aimlessly through the various rooms in Xu Yang’s work area.
Her time on the Northern Archipelago was coming to an end.
Lu Sizhou had other tasks for Lu Jing to execute, and she would likely soon receive the order to return to Xia. Her greatest relief was having met the Cyber Specter before leaving. As for the remaining time, she intended to create more memorable moments to leave behind here.
"I’m Sister Lu Jing, I’m Xiao Lu~" Lu Jing playfully interacted with Little Fool.
"Guabu." Little Fool sat next to her round table, picking up a cup of hot milk.
Little Fool chose her formal outfit—a clean white pinafore with a brown shirt and fiery red bowtie—her beautiful black hair flowing down, neatly managed by herself, combed clean, and tied with a red ribbon, evoking admiration and enchantment for its neatness.
Xu Yang had invested a great deal of effort into Little Fool outside his work; her transformation was significant. Xu Cheng had become a very educated, decent, and respectable little girl.
Rinne watched from the side, convinced that in time, Xu Cheng would inherit the valor of Mr. Web Monitor and, as his successor, continue to explore the world’s end.
"We’re taking her out to play." Rinne pointed to Little Fool, just as Xu Yang entered the room.
"Where to?" Xu Yang asked, as he needed to spend time replacing all the cushions in the network access pods.
"Where would you like to go?" Lu Jing squatted down to ask Little Fool.
"Guabu," Little Fool said, finding that adults didn’t quite understand her, so she switched to a language more commonly used among them, "To the beach to build sandcastles."
"Let’s go~" Lu Jing scooped up Little Fool, who leaned in to hang her milk bottle on her belly, then sat on Lu Jing’s forearm and left.
"What’s Mr. Web Monitor doing today?" Rinne also needed to leave and turned to ask before stepping out.
"Wrapping up." Xu Yang sat on a chair, eyes closed, already connected to Jialong Slope thousands of miles away.
In the dilapidated recycling station at Jialong Slope, Du Qianqian sat on an old white plastic chair, contemplating the new day’s plans. Jialong Slope was not safe, with Black Fire Innovation’s secret agents still lurking; she had to find a way to remove Huang Feng and the chip from the hibernation pod.
She opened the communication terminal, and Xu Yang’s contact came through the encrypted signal from Helis Sea. She sighed with relief; Jialong Slope was still raining, the incessant downpour almost numbing her nerves.
"How does it feel?" Xu Yang asked.
"In what way?"
"Your way, your feelings."
"Refreshed, despite the terrible surroundings." Du Qianqian glanced at the fast-food boxes piled in the corner with nowhere to dispose of them because of the water outside.
"Like the past?" Xu Yang remembered Du Qianqian’s past.
Experiencing poverty still tasted bitter to Du Qianqian, who responded quietly.
"Yes, it’s like returning to childhood. Once, a flash flood blocked the road out of the village, and it was pretty much like this—dark outside, alone and lonely. I stumbled into a room in the corner by accident and saw an empty coffin. I asked my family who it was for? I still remember them answering expressionlessly: whoever in our family dies first."
"How long has it been, 15 years?"
"About that. So this place... this narrow shop, do you know how frightening it is? People on the street know only guns and knives, the common currency is bullets, women crying and begging me to come into their homes. I barely leave the house, just collect information here, sometimes receive our secret agents. Most of the time, I’m accompanied by the hibernation pod, which is like a coffin."
"It must be very quiet."
"If it weren’t quiet, it would mean it was haunted," Du Qianqian said relaxedly, "Under these conditions, I silently reexamined myself entirely."
```

"It’s quite rare."

"Not rare, not rare at all, very simple. If you think about it, you’ll know that in this lackluster room, the only thing I could gaze at for a long time was myself."

"Any new discoveries?"

"I discovered the truth—I still have time, I still have a chance... The people in the cryogenic chambers no longer have the luxury of thought. Are you planning to move them?"

"Yes, 101 will take you away. But before that happens, I have something to tell you. Wake Huang Feng," said Xu Yang.

Du Qianqian returned to the inner room and began the awakening process for the cryogenic chambers. After a buzzing sound, the chamber’s lid slid open slowly, revealing Huang Feng motionless in the sustaining liquid.

Her eyelashes quivered for a moment, and several minutes later, she awoke due to the natural air. Huang Feng opened her eyes to see the dim light and Du Qianqian beside her.

"My God..." Huang Feng murmured, struggling to lift her hand out of the liquid, "A hundred years have passed, and your appearance hasn’t changed, nor has this place..."

"It hasn’t been a hundred years, just a few weeks," Du Qianqian said with a smile. "You were awakened early for a reason. Mr. Xu will arrange your fate forever."

"What does he want to do?" Huang Feng stood up from the sustaining liquid, the gel sticking to her body, feeling like a new layer of skin.

"I am the owner of A40." Xu Yang’s voice came through the terminal.

"It keeps insisting you’re a trustworthy person, so I’ll give you some trust for now. What do you want?" Huang Feng sat on the cryogenic chamber and picked up the smart chip case for A40 from the edge of the lid.

"Let’s talk about what happened to A40 before it met you. You don’t know about A40’s past, do you?"

"It’s evasive about that."

"A40 was once an irrational Synthetic Human, although it still looks a bit off now, it was even crazier at the start... Later, it was kicked into pieces by a Witch, and we brought its remains to the manufacturer for repairs. We discovered that its social module interface was damaged. It faced different fates: either reinstall the social module to create a nearly normal A40 or keep it in its damaged, insane state. We chose the former."

"So it originally didn’t have a social module; it couldn’t possibly fall in love with me?"

"Right, all your stories originate from an instance of repair and reinstallation with A40. Since then, it began searching for a being to interact with and eventually found you, deciding to date you."

"How did it first describe me?" Huang Feng asked, eager to know.

"It said: ’Please allow me, an irrational Synthetic Human, to associate with a Witch like Huang Feng who is also obviously irrational!’"

"It’s crazy!" Huang Feng started to laugh, then she began to cry.

"Then you were taken by Black Fire Innovation, and A40 forcefully wanted to find you, so I made a plan for it. It traveled the world, circumnavigating most of the planet, first going to Greeny City, then to Agave Continent, and finally boarding a copper mining ship to Charo Island, and only then did it appear on Dark Isle."

Huang Feng cried even harder, kneeling on the floor, as she now understood everything A40 had done.

"Thank you," Huang Feng said through her tears.

jumped into the area. While Huang Feng was grieving, they were responsible for packing up the things and the cryogenic chambers.

Huang Feng held the chip case close to her chest, kissing it repeatedly.

Du Qianqian watched silently as Huang Feng clutched A40 in her arms for a long time.

Once everything was prepared, 101 transferred them all into the Shuttle Machine waiting above. The Shuttle Machine activated its signal blocking module and quickly headed towards the safety zone.

Huang Feng sat in her seat, pale-faced.

"On your way back, we had hundreds of people working in the shadows, desperately covering tracks, fighting against Black Fire Innovation’s troops." 101 looked out at the sky, reminiscing about the numerous battles.

"I’m useless," murmured Huang Feng.

With Orochi’s full protection, Huang Feng was returned to the Northern Archipelago, where she was smuggled into Nestor Headquarters through secret channels.

"I still have the Restrictor and the illness... No use," Huang Feng observed the corridors around her, surprised by the Nestor employees who worked there.

"The Witch Goddess promised to save you—now is the time to fulfill that promise." 101 led Huang Feng into the Divine Realm.

The Recovery Star was ready, and Huang Feng was brought by 101 to the Stars.

This was the most powerful—the Divine Power of Farosa had been awakened. This recovery was not the minor restoration law in the concept of Farosa’s "Magic Power," but a Great Recovery Law driven by Divine Power capable of reversing things and broad spaces to an era far before.

Huang Feng soaked in the true blood-red light of the Great Recovery Law, shrinking and becoming smaller, all of her features regressing, her hair growing longer from being short, her stooped figure becoming erect, her sickly state turning healthy, and she got smaller and smaller, shorter and shorter.

The Witch Goddess had promised to rescue Huang Feng, and now all promises were fulfilled. The mighty restorative power of Farosa brought an unprecedented long-term return to an earlier time. Huang Feng’s consciousness was blurred, totally chaotic.

pulled Huang Feng out of the range of the shining light; her Restrictor had not yet been removed.

Huang Feng’s consciousness slowly returned, but her expression was vacant.

Looking up at 101, she found it strange—when had 101 become so tall?

"It’s gone..." Huang Feng said blankly. "I don’t hurt anymore... Not at all, why don’t I hurt anymore? No discomfort, no illusions, no feeling of being pierced by needles, no desire to die."

"Because you were quite healthy when you were a child." 101 took Huang Feng outside.

"The Restrictor..." Huang Feng looked at the Restrictor on her chest.

"Once we’ve completely eliminated Black Fire Innovation, we’ll know how to remove it," 101 explained.

She saw A40 outside; its smart chip had been installed in a newly manufactured body, standing up from a metal seat.

"Wow." A40 looked down at Little Huang Feng. "We can’t date like this."

"You’ll just have to raise me again," Huang Feng said softly.

She walked over, and A40 picked her up.

They still had time.
