Chapter 696: Chapter 582 Expelled from the Door

```
Arriving with excitement, returning with disappointment.
Rinne tried to complete the Helis Sea training, but her debut was anything but auspicious.
The last step proved harder than anticipated, for without Digital Mind, Rinne failed time and again in her attempts to conquer the Helis Sea.
Technically, she could grasp the general idea, but her processing speed was as slow as a snail’s, and the frequency of her errors was more than she could believe.
The Helis Sea System was precise, allowing no room for even the slightest error, and the more Rinne failed, the more anxious she became, increasing the chances of making mistakes.
It seemed like success was within reach, but without the support of Digital Mind, total control over the Helis Sea remained an elusive dream.
Days went by, and Rinne wasted opportunity after opportunity.
With each exit from the system, she would look guiltily towards Xu Yang, who now wore his mask, his expression unreadable. Rinne imagined that behind that inscrutable mask was surely disappointment, his patience with an incompetent disciple gradually wearing thin.
Thus, Rinne could only seek consolation in her bed, trying to find that sense of fulfillment that eluded her in training.
To her, Xu Yang was a mentor, a lover, and sometimes an equal-status friend, but no matter what their relationship was, Rinne never wanted to disappoint Xu Yang.
However, by the fourth day, Rinne still hadn’t managed to thoroughly control the Helis Sea.
The ever-shifting data units almost drowned her fragile consciousness. A competent controller could easily dive in and out; Xu Yang, whether delving deep or surfacing from the Helis Sea, did it with ease. But for Rinne, it was like a giant swamp glued together, arcane and unpredictable.
In the end, she even developed a psychological shadow, no longer daring to delve deep into the bottom of the Helis Sea.
Failure had shattered Rinne’s last bit of confidence. After her final attempt, she crawled out of the tech pod, her face flushed with shame, dizzy and staggering, quickly walking out, afraid that Xu Yang would call her back.
"You can’t try again for a while. The logs show your neural cells have been overworked and might risk injury again," Xu Yang said, seeing only Rinne’s retreating back as he stood up from inside the tech pod, compelled to remind her.
"I know," Rinne said, her tone uneasy.
"Go out and eat something," Xu Yang suggested, putting on a white coat. This string of setbacks must have destroyed all of Rinne’s confidence, and he needed to find a way to distract her, to keep her from focusing on this series of heavy defeats.
All the giant corporations cultivate Digital Mind users internally – this was the highest barrier, erecting an unbreakable wall between ordinary hackers and corporate hackers.
From the start, Rinne longed to reach the pinnacle of technology, but without the key element of Digital Mind, her chances seemed slim, and no amount of talent could bypass the limitations of technological rules – slow is slow.
She bit her lip, walking out with her head bowed, her eyes filled with regret.
Laughter streamed from the adjacent game room, and as Rinne looked over, she saw Little Fool sitting next to her town model, which had expanded a hundredfold compared to before – if it was once a small village surrounded by railroad tracks, now it was a small city complete with all necessary features.
If only mastering the Helis Sea were as simple as playing with toys, Rinne thought to herself.
Little Fool placed down the platform and tracks, connecting the carriages precisely, then used tweezers to carefully set the entire train onto the platform.
Around the train, cars were neatly parked in the lot, track workers, attendants, and travelers stood near the station. Little Fool had also patiently assembled complete models of overpasses, expressways, apartments, fast-food restaurants, and schools, and nearby were even some foam and plastic mountains, shaped and painted brown, with large patches of plastic trees attached.
There was no doubt that to assemble such a wonderfully complete town required long-term perseverance, dedication, and patience – qualities that Little Fool was not short of. Through her efforts, she had become the creator-god of this miniature railroad diorama.
Rinne was distracted by the sight.
It was less a toy and more a work of art; seeing this, Rinne couldn’t help feeling ashamed. What in life doesn’t require calm and concentration? Time is long; perhaps all she was lacking was a bit of luck.
Little Fool set the train in place, then pressed the power button, and the train slowly started moving, driven by the motor.
It picked up speed.
Little Foolstood up excitedly, watching how her creation advanced along the carefully laid tracks she had laid. Standing outside the diorama, her gaze fixed on the train’s engine.
Faster and faster!
Just like a real train, after Little Fool gave it full power, the electric model train’s speed became incredibly fast.
The sound of the wheels against the tracks was distinctly loud, and the rhythmic clacking was also especially pleasing. Little Fool gazed dumbly at the smoothly running railroad model, as if it was her greatest treasure.
Little Farosa watched the whole scene from the side, like a white-clothed phantom.
She had pre-emptively pinched a few little plastic people in her hand, and as the electric train reached high speed and charged straight ahead, Little Farosa swiftly acted, scattering a handful of plastic people onto the tracks in front of the train.
Clang!
The train rapidly ran over those plastic people!
```

The neat iron wheels roared past, sending them flying through the air, all deformed by the impact!

The distant ones flew clear out of the diorama and landed at the far end of the playroom, while the nearer ones landed on some distant little houses, tumbling on the rooftops, as if gasping their last breath.

Heavy casualties.

Little Fool’s mouth hung open.

Seeing the figurines annihilated by the train, Little Fool immediately leaned forward, her hands trembling as she reached for the control panel, but her body was shaking so much that she failed several times to pull the lever down successfully.

Rinne had no choice but to enter the toy room and turn off the engine for Little Fool, causing the train to slow down and lose power, stopping on the tracks.

Little Fool walked around, picking up the plastic figures that had been knocked away, clutching them in her palm.

Gathering them together in her cupped hands, she looked at their deformed shapes with distress, the sparkle gone from her eyes.

"Don’t worry, I can fix them," Little Farosa said gently to Little Fool.

With a wave of her hand, she released the Law of Recovery and restored all the plastic figures to their original state.

"..."

"Be sure to watch for a safe speed next time," Little Farosa said softly.

Little Fool put the plastic figures back in the toy bucket and turned to look at the model railroad town she had built, scratching her head with her mouth open.

This child is going to develop a psychological trauma! Rinne tensed up at the thought.

The toys had become instruments of destruction for the little people, and what child could accept such a thing happening?

Rinne pondered how to comfort Little Fool.

Just then, Little Fool turned and looked at Farosa for a few seconds.

Following that, she extended her hand to release an air wall, pushing her hands forward and directly driving Little Farosa out of the playroom!

Thrown out the door, Little Farosa’s expression changed dramatically.

"Hey!" Little Farosa banged on the air wall with her hand, "Let me in!"

With her back to Little Farosa, Little Fool continued to play with her toys, looking happier than before.

"I want to play too!" Little Farosa tried to get back in.

"We should leave quickly. You can’t continue to do that kind of thing," said Rinne, who didn’t recognize Little Farosa and thought she was a mischievous little girl who had come to play, so she took her hand and led her away from the playroom.

Little Farosa was crestfallen.

At that time, Xu Yang also got his things ready, took his belongings with him, and seeing Rinne leading Little Farosa, he felt they had a good relationship.

"Let’s go together, but she can’t stray too far from Nestor Headquarters," Xu Yang said, taking Little Farosa’s other hand, just like a family heading out together.

As they passed through the corridor, Little Fool turned her head to glance at them, reached out to say goodbye to Xu Yang but didn’t wave; instead, she just coolly lifted one hand as if to signal, "Hurry up and go."

Walking past the Wolf Girl fast asleep at the door of the workshop, they decided to go out for a walk.

Nestor Headquarters was located in Shangjing’s ancient architectural district, surrounded by low-rise old nobility residences. Due to the complete decline of the nobility, the former residents had disappeared, leaving behind estates that served only cultural tourism and commemorative purposes, continuing to attract tourists.

Some buildings along the street had also been demolished to widen the road. On their former sites, new commercial streets had been built, including coffee shops, izakayas, ramen restaurants, clinics, and various entertainment venues. They all cleverly designed their decorations to look antique, blending in with the surrounding old-world architecture, keeping the look of the entire area cohesive.

Still, despite all these efforts, the shops remained eerily quiet.

When Xu Yang, Rinne, and Little Farosa entered a small eatery, the greeting robot at the door, the server in black stockings and a pink waist-cinching skirt, and the chef in the open kitchen area all welcomed them loudly—they were undoubtedly the first customers in a while.

Being watched by the entire staff, Rinne felt somewhat awkward. She looked around at the decor—upright white porcelain vases, bird-patterned screens, warm lights, sake bottles, and Daruma dolls—all quite exquisite and creating a great atmosphere.

Xu Yang, as usual, showed the menu to Little Farosa.

Rinne scanned the surroundings, and when her gaze landed on the black hanging smart screen, the server hurried to turn it on; it was as if Rinne had controlled the machine with her eyes.

But the news broadcast was not so pleasant, and as Rinne watched, her brows furrowed deeply.
