Chapter 625: Chapter 530: Recovery Star_2
"Ah!" 102 thought for a moment, "It’s no surprise, if it’s Lady Farosa, anything is possible. She’s incredibly powerful, turning the Law of Recovery into such a flashing big ball. That way, we won’t always have to bother her and can fix things ourselves here."
Mysterious and unfathomable. Rinne looked around; the magic power inside her had returned to its limit, and then there was no further increase. Her magic circuit had been damaged due to body modifications, not as fully charged with power as a true Witch.
There’s a particularly powerful witch here. Rinne pursed her lips in thought, her brows faintly furrowed; she had never encountered this person before.
"Is she a member of Nestor Corporation? Will I have the chance to meet her?" Rinne had to ask since the existence of such an enigma was unknown to her, which was quite unsettling.
"You will, you might meet her very soon," 102 believed that Lady Farosa would treat Rinne well.
was fond of Lady Farosa because she constantly showed 102 new things, new powers, new mystical knowledge, and hopes for a new world. Moreover, there was the Law of Recovery that reversed everything, giving her and her sister the chance to survive. Even for this reason alone, she would willingly serve Lady Farosa.
"What would happen if I fell down there?" Rinne turned to look at the void of the universe on either side of the golden threads. She always felt it was an illusion, that solid ground would be waiting for her if she jumped, but she dared not risk it.
"Then you would be directly devoured by Lady Farosa," 102 said with a laugh, looking down where the Starry Sea was connected to the chamber itself.
Now Rinne was beginning to understand how terrifying Lady Farosa could be.
Her feelings oscillated between peculiarity and awe. However, born not to be timid, Rinne looked down at the boundless starry landscape. As the Hacker Witch, she knew she had to exceed the limits of all traditional witches. No matter how powerful this Farosa was, she wouldn’t make Rinne falter.
Rinne, with Seeking Shadow in tow, walked outside; once in the corridor, she felt a reassuring sense of returning to the real world.
Her first act was to question Taro Tanaka via communication.
"Mr. Tanaka," Rinne said with a stern tone, "the A999 you created is completely arrogant and has caused a lot of trouble for the entire squad. But we weren’t warned in advance."
"I told you it was wild and unruly; otherwise, it wouldn’t have slipped away from me," Taro Tanaka replied, equally adamant.
"You’d better keep an eye on it yourself; we don’t have room to take care of such a maniac synthetic human," Rinne warned.
"I’m not familiar with your squad, but it seems you always have tough challenges," Taro Tanaka explained, "why not try to get along with A999 and improve its personality? A40 was even more erratic, but in the end, it seems A40 was more help than hassle, wasn’t it?"
What a cunning scientist, Rinne sighed inwardly. He had thrown the problem at her.
After some social training in the Disciple Squad, Taro Tanaka would have more confidence bringing A999 along in the future, not fearing it would cause trouble at international expos.
And the squad did indeed need A999’s superior combat power, including Rinne’s own greatest ambition: to hack into Enomoto Bank! If a powerful squad breached the lower levels, helping Rinne take out those hackers, she could break into Helis Sea without any trouble, taking what she wanted and destroying Enomoto Bank, fulfilling her longstanding desire.
Bringing down a major corporation, indeed the more helpers the better. Dealing a heavy blow to a company that had no regard for human life would be revenge for all of Rinne’s past and present suffering.
"Seeking Shadow?" Rinne silenced her communicator, then softly asked for Seeking Shadow’s opinion, "A999 got you into this shape with its nonsense; are you willing to let A999 join the team?"
"No problem," Seeking Shadow replied indifferently, "it’s the last Class A Synthetic Human in the world, let’s be lenient."
Yes, Rinne nodded inwardly. Taro Tanaka would not create any more Class A Synthetic Humans and would probably shift his focus to more diverse household service and companion synthetic humans, which better met market demands.
"Alright," Rinne returned to the communication channel, agreeing to Taro Tanaka’s request, "we’ll look after A999."
"Thank you, I will provide you with the necessary funds," Taro Tanaka ended the communication content, and while he was generous with money, Rinne received a transfer of 300,000 in funds.
"A999 is not well-liked right now," Rinne divided the money with Seeking Shadow, "I have to find a way to deal with it. I’m going to the hospital to find Masasuke Hazuki and have him help contain the maniac A999, then continue with the training."
"I’ll go buy supplies," Seeking Shadow nodded briskly, "there are other weapon projects at headquarters that we can test."
"This squad is going to be something else," Rinne couldn’t help but smile, "each of us is working very hard."
"Miss Rinne," Seeking Shadow said solemnly, "I like the feeling of all of us fighting together. This squad has never been so strong, and I’m so happy!"
"Me too!" Rinne couldn’t help laughing.
With a group of trustworthy companions, what could be happier than that?
After splitting up, Rinne contacted Masasuke Hazuki using the information left in the Shangjing bounty hunters directory.
Masasuke Hazuki informed Rinne that he was currently at the Rose Medical Center in Shangjing, so she took a taxi there. Rose Medicine was the world’s most powerful medical company, dominating the Britannia region, and its medical centers are often a representation of the highest standard of medical service in their respective locations.
