Chapter 221: Chapter 196: The Supreme Revelation

"Zenith, it can command the power of a star?" Xu Yang was closely observing every move of Zenith.

"They are called ’extraterrestrial beings,’ fallen from the stars," Farosa said, looking up into the sky, "Some witches believe they belong to a race that dwells permanently in the galaxy, these star-born creatures can easily communicate with and master everything under the heavens."

"The stars are also the places that create and bestow Witch’s Power upon witches," Xu Yang couldn’t help but speculate, "It possesses tremendous power. If Zenith comes from such a place, it might also understand the origin of the witches."

"It doesn’t speak very clearly, as you can see. This guy is strong, but... slow and oblivious," Farosa observed, "I wanted it to go rescue the Forest Master. I thought we would have arrived here earlier, but now we’re delayed, and there’s only 1 month left for the agreed time."

"Give it its last orders, then let’s get going, lest other uninvited guests pay us a visit." Xu Yang knew drones and remote sensing satellites had already converged on this area, and soon it would be observed by the whole world.

Farosa continued to call out to Zenith on a spiritual level, and it began to respond.

"Wake up, wake up," urged Farosa.

"Zenith?" It sounded weak and breathless.

"Okay, I know you’re in pain. But now you have to get up and work," Farosa comforted.

"Zenith..." Zenith was still healing itself.

Intense light enveloped Zenith, the brilliance flashing dazzlingly, making it hard to look directly at it.

It radiated its heat, boiling the sea water, while sunlight from all over the world was gathered on this super-giant, greatly beneficial to it. Initially pockmarked and unsmooth, its body was now regenerating under the fierce sunshine.

Power gradually returned to Zenith; it regrew its rocky skin and metallic hair, and even the deeply excavated chest and abdomen slowly evened out. Though it still looked a bit ragged, it was far better than at its worst.

As the glow faded, Zenith’s true form was revealed.

This was a golden-red giant with a molten shell, eternally burning, and with a burly figure that did not lack in majesty. It embodied the pure posture of a titanic god, representing the sun and sublimity itself, awe-inspiring to behold.

The over 400 meters tall, ultra-gigantic Zenith made a huge impression on Xu Yang. The fact that the Corporate Alliance had once managed to subdue such a colossal being spoke volumes of the determination, audacity, and resources at the peak of the Alliance’s era.

Zenith felt it now looked presentable enough to meet its friends and was very pleased with itself.

"Zenith? Zenith." Zenith clapped its hands happily.

Every collision of its massive palms created tremendous sounds that Xu Yang and the others could hear clearly, even submerged at the bottom of the sea—an ear-splitting racket.

In Zenith’s view, everything was satisfactory.

A thousand years ago, a shipwreck washed Farosa ashore on a desolate island in the Archipelago Continent. At that time, she lay on the beach like a salted fish, and Zenith guided nearby fishermen and the Witch to rescue Farosa. After being saved, Farosa spent some time learning how to communicate with Zenith and then left. Later, it heard that Farosa was ultimately buried alive somewhere underground, which caused Zenith distress for a long time.

It had thought they would never meet again, but a single encounter had yielded such fruitful results!

Not only was Farosa unharmed, but she also survived these ten centuries and was willing to make a journey of thousands of miles to rescue Zenith, out of the friendship formed back then, moving Zenith immensely.

What a display of goodwill and heroism! There wasn’t another hero in the world who acted as fairly and righteously as Farosa.

"Zenith? Zenith!" It leapt down in one go, plunging into the sea, intending to find Farosa and the others, and swam happily towards the Innovation.

The splash it made while entering the water was huge; waves soared sky-high, and the incredible shockwave pushed the Innovation away, causing it to tilt violently in the water, being pushed back hundreds of meters before regaining power.

"Oh... don’t do that," Farosa was nearly flung away.

"Zenith!" It floated in front of the Innovation, overjoyed.

It saw two and a half souls.

One was a chaotic Witch’s soul, containing the power of the stars, with the great Power of the Throne of God stored within it. This seat had already been occupied and could no longer be used for Ascension, but it could still be remade to create the next deity.

Another was a rebellious Human soul, which gave Zenith the first impression of being quite healthy, without any bad habits. A peaceful and profound outer shell enveloped a fighting spirit underneath, the type that would rise again even if crushed to dust.

There was also a meager half of a Witch’s soul, having some kind of strong tenacity that enabled it to persist in that non-human body, preventing it from withering away and still maintaining its connection with the stars, capable of using Magic Power, to Zenith’s amazement.

Oh, they were all friendly, kind, and just companions, Zenith liked them so much. Not a single villain, not a single bad person; they were all Zenith’s good friends!

Zenith wanted to take them to its home, to its beautiful house, to share all the knowledge it had collected, and to bestow upon them the treasures accumulated over the years, to reward these lovely new friends.

But before that, Zenith sensed unease again. There were other Mystics communicating with Zenith.

"Dingling, danger is coming," a voice secretly transmitted to Zenith.

"Yan Duo?"

"I don’t understand, but I see your fate is headed straight for destruction."

Yan Duo recognized the voice as that of the "liar" Mack, a cunning Mystic.

"Don’t bother with me now, if you survive, then talk to me," the liar Mack cut off communication.

"Yan Duo..." It lamented and then flew upwards, leaving the surface of the sea. Maybe this time it wasn’t lying.

Since a crisis was approaching, it had to protect its friends.

"Where is it going?" Xu Yang found it bizarre.

"I want to know too." Farosa’s heart thumped.

Yan Duo searched the skies for the source of the threat, first focusing on the retreating carriers far away. Yan Duo could still feel those annoying beings on them.

Sogi Juro had not left yet; he wanted to make up for his negligence and attempted to scout the situation of Zenith, the sky around becoming dim, as if the world’s bright colors had been drained away despite the absence of clouds, mimicking an overcast day.

"Yan Duo!" It launched a punch towards the line of carriers.

Solar energy transformed into a fist shadow, swiftly smashing towards them, completely disrupting the formation of the Shuttle Machine Cluster like wild ducks scattered by shotgun fire, fleeing haphazardly through the air. If hit by the solar energy unleashed by Yan Duo, they would instantaneously vaporize from the extreme heat, annihilated into nothingness.

"Let’s go!" Sogi Juro was scared out of his wits, fleeing for his life.

Even after dispersing the carriers, Yan Duo still couldn’t be at ease.

That sense of crisis still lingered around Yan Duo’s consciousness. Roaring, it shone with an even more dazzling golden light, and just then, a giant cross-shaped portal opened before Yan Duo.

Moments later, a spiraled spear thrust out from it, piercing Yan Duo’s chest!

A six-winged goddess emerged from the portal, holding the spear, impaling Yan Duo’s torso and driving it downwards. Her power was terrifying, enough to propel the several-hundred-meters-tall giant, causing Yan Duo to plummet rapidly.

Meanwhile, the goddess dispersed the entire sea. The waters deformed around the point of the spear’s impact, the formless force parting the water completely, causing it to sink rapidly, beginning from the middle and drying up. This also caused the Innovation to swiftly descend with the water level, forcing Lila to urgently steer the Shuttle Machine away into the open sea to avoid it completely sinking to the ocean floor.

"Unknown enemy detected." Lila captured the image and sent it back to the control panel.

"Dilnai!" Farosa was startled, "... She’s a Mystic from New Taixi State."

Dilnai was the embodiment of malice, a jealous female divine being who hated everything.

Her domain was in New Taixi State. When humanity first landed on Taixi Continent and established the Corporate Alliance, everything proceeded extremely smoothly; humans didn’t even record Dilnai’s existence. She laid concealed within history, watching as the Lighthouse Core thrived in her territory.

Or perhaps she had always been supporting the Corporation’s growth. Farosa thought darkly. The Corporate Alliance resided in New Taixi State, and it seemed impossible that Dilnai had just been sitting there, watching human technology advance by leaps and bounds over the years.

Farosa felt anxious and restless.

When she first used the power of the Throne of God to communicate with the Mystics, Dilnai had been the most presumptuous, declaring that she would capture Farosa and bring her to her side.

Previously, when Mireya attacked Suzuki Springs, it might have been at Dilnai’s instigation, given that Mireya came representing the Lighthouse Core, and Dilnai was often in that area; unknown how many deals she had made with the Lighthouse Core.

Xu Yang looked into the distance; the sea was completely stripped away from the center, leaving a ring-shaped dry base exposed, revealing the damp rocks and sandy ground with debris from the Godbinding Plan scattered all over.

Yan Duo, attacked by the mysterious female, had no power to fight back. It had just recovered, while Dilnai came prepared, her size difference not affecting the terrifying damage she inflicted on Yan Duo in the slightest.

Farosa racked her brain on how to respond. Dilnai’s ambition for the Throne of God was now clear; she had clearly come to kill Farosa. If Yan Duo interfered, Dilnai would also slay Yan Duo.

She wielded the weapon that judged the world, her six wings imbued with Divine Power, as the cross-shaped portal closed behind her.

"Bring the revelation due to all of you," Dilnai stood on Yan Duo’s chest, thrusting the spiraled spear into the core of Yan Duo, her form mostly hidden in shadow, maintaining a sense of mystery.

"Yan Duo..." It howled mournfully.

Dilnai pulled the spiraled spear out from Yan Duo’s chest, leaving behind a malevolent wound that could not heal, then she turned toward the direction of the Innovation’s retreat, blinking and swinging her spear six times, sending six deep-purple arcs of energy waves hurtling towards the Innovation, each longer than 10 meters.

"Yan Duo!" It was terrified and quickly extended its arm, releasing its Power to shatter and weaken those hostile and terrifying attacks. Those were its friends...

Dilnai, with a flap of her six wings, instantaneously moved above Yan Duo’s head.

She thrust the spear down forcefully, piercing through Yan Duo’s skull.
