Si Ning didn’t have to close his eyes to think of the next step, he started looking around erratically, his eyes darting around, he couldn’t sit at the hospital and wait, he had to see Liu Zhicheng. "Shang Jin do you know where the wedding is taking place?" He asked as he finally found the strength to talk, he laid his eyes on a fluffy slipper.

Shang Jin wore a confused look. "I think the engagement was all over the news but the wedding venue is a secret but I know the location because the last time your boss was in this room I heard him say the wedding will take place in secret venue away from the media eyes at the Heaven’s will church."

That was it! Great Shang Jin.

Si Ning wanted to sit up and he realised he was still weak and wouldn’t be able to do anything on his own, he had no friends to call for help so the only person that could help him was his one and only friend Shang Jin. "Shang Jin we have to go, take me there!" He said not minding that his throat was hurting as he checked the wall clock to see it was still morning.

Shang Jin’s eyes almost bulge out of their sockets. "Is your head all right? What are you talking about Si Ning? That is almost one hour away." He was now more confused as he bent a little to check if Si Ning was okay.

"Please take me there." Si Ning’s voice was laid with desperation and determination, he had to go to that wedding, he was just in a coma and was stiff and weak but he didn’t sustain any injury so he should be fine moving.

"Calm down..." Shang Jin quickly moved forward when Si Ning yanked the drip off, disconnecting it from his hand and now swung his legs to the side and got off the bed yet his legs turned to jelly that he almost fell if not for Shang Jin that caught him. "Please calm down Si Ning...." He said as he held the frail body in his arms, a body that had lost a lot of weight, a patient that just came out of a coma were always concerned about checking their face, asking about their phone, asking about their family, friends, their lover, if they have one yet all Si Ning wanted, was to attend a wedding.

Si Ning shook his head. "You do not understand please..." Tears started to roll down his eyes. Xiu Zhicheng mustn’t marry anyone but him, even if he doesn’t remember Si Ning would make him remember but would he remember? Si Ning refused to accept all that happened as a dream, he felt love, pain, hope and all the emotion in this world so it could never be a dream and deep down his gut he knew Liu Zhicheng was Xiu Zhicheng.

Shang Jin raked a hand through his hair, frustrated but he knew that look of desperation Si Ning had, it was a look he do give when he had something extremely important to do. "But aunty, your mother..."

"I have to stop the wedding, please! I have to go now! Help me Jin, please help me I am begging you, this depends on my life." Si Ning’s throat was now completely dried up and he started to cough.

Shang Jin was shocked as he helped Si Ning to sit and wore his slippers for him. He poured a cup of water and help Si Ning to drink it. He thought Si Ning wanted to attend the wedding but it seem he was going there to stop the wedding. "You know I can lose my job for this." He said under his breath, he was always weak to Si Ning’s request.

Si Ning finally raised his head from the cup as he wiped his lips. "I.."

"Do not worry we are best friends." Shang Jin interrupted Si Ning. "I will do it but first you have to change out of the hospital gown." At least Si Ning should dress appropriately for a wedding. "I don’t know if my cloth will size you, it is in the bunk.."

"No there is no time, we have to hurry." Si Ning said his voice extremely laid with haste. "Now!"

Shang Jin took a deep breath, without thinking he had to run out and came back with a wheelchair, he lifted Si Ning off the bed and placed him on the wheelchair after making sure he was seated well, he started wheeling him out of the VIP room as he empties his mind not to think, they had to act natural so he started walking while pushing Si Ning slowly out of the VIP ward towards a lift, they got closer when the lift opened and the person that was in it was no other person than Ge Mengshu dressed in a flowery dress carrying a brown bag, she was staring at her feet and she was about to look up when the elevator door opened to its extreme when Shang Jin suddenly turned the wheelchair, his back now facing Ge Mengshu.

"What should we do?" Shang Jin asked almost in a whisper as he bent for Si Ning to hear.

Si Ning closed his eye for a second and opened it. "Don’t let her see me please." A tear slid down his face. "Hurry go go go." He was so glad to see that his mother was well but if she sees him she would never allow him to leave.

Shang Jin also started to push Si Ning till they rounded the corner then he started pushing Si Ning fast until they were out of view, they had to take a long way to a busy level making sure no one sees them as suspicious, the hospital was in an emergency mode due to the road accident so the hospital staffs were busy and no one even took a glance at them. They approached another lift when the lift opened they got in, it was not crowded and when they got out Shang Jin started pushing Si Ning towards the large exit door.

"Doctor Shang?"

Shang Jin froze for a second as he wiped the sweat forming on his forehead, he took a deep breath, turned and smiled at one of his colleagues that called him. "Hi senior."

Si Ning quickly directed his gaze at his feet just to avoid being seen while hoping the man would quickly leave.

"The hospital is in short of hands, what are you doing?" The man inquired.

"I am riding my patient for some air, he tends to get hysterical if he didn’t get some fresh air by noon." Shang Jin replied as he wore a wide fake smile.

"He looks familiar..." The colleague tried to get closer to look at Si Ning but Shang Jin moved and blocked his view.

"It’s almost noon." Shang Jin said as he chuckled. "My shift will soon start and I will be seeing you."

"We are short of hands, you should wheel him back to his room, my shift has ended but I have to still work overtime, let some nurse take over." The senior said before Shang Jin could leave.

"But senior, I have to be the one to do it if not he will go..." Shang Jin said sounding like he had no choice but to be the one to do it as he gestured a finger to the side of his head in a circular form to gesture that Si Ning would go crazy.

"What is wrong with him? He looks unhealthy and thin, Let him go mad all he wants, let a nurse take over." The senior said after giving Si Ning a disdainful look.

What? Did he just call him unhealthy and thin?

Si Ning tilted his head to face Shang Jin’s senior with an open mouth, his head turned almost a hundred and eighty degrees, since he woke up he hadn’t looked into the mirror but how was he supposed to look after being stuck in a coma for a long time. "Didn’t you hear what he said." It wasn’t a question. "Do you want to see me go mad maybe I will bite off your ear and chew it since it looks so delicious but I will go more than crazy if this nice doctor here do not wheel me out in the next minute, you wretch." He further opened his mouth wide and made an ’aham’ sound as he made a biting motion taken on the appearance of a mad man which made the doctor wore a shocked expression.

As an actor it was quite easy for Si Ning to wear a crazy man’s look and Shang Jin gave the senior an ’I told you so’ look as he started wheeling Si Ning out, Si Ning turned back to focus on his feet, he had forgotten he was famous and he might be recognised but they successful got out with Shang Jin cursing under his breath while he wheeled Si Ning to the park to a red car, he unlocked the door and lifted Si Ning to the passenger seat while he folded the wheelchair and kept it in the boot before getting to the driver seat and started the car, his hands a bit shaky. "I haven’t done something dangerous since high school, I feel like I am committing a big crime which is making my heart beat so fast but I love it."

All the dangerous adventures they embarked on when they were in high school trying everything, it was a fun time but now as an adult, their fun would be limited and Shang Jin grinning happily might be the result of being cooped up studying for a long time and finally seeing something exciting to do.
