With a speed of lighting, Si Ning pulled out four arrows and laid it on his bow then shoot instantly without even spending a second to set the arrows, this close range unexpected attack took four out of the seven men at once within a blink of an eye that even Lan Zhang and Lan Wan were so shocked for a second that they froze but it wasn’t only them that froze at their spot, those that witnessed it also got frozen and one of the reserved force that witnessed the attack eyes almost bulge out because like one out of hundreds of thousands of soldiers could pull it off.

That was the signal so Lan Zhang and Lan Wan quickly recovered but they never expected Si Ning to shoot four men precisely where their heart was located leaving out Ge Liang, the Priest, Lee and his follower who was sent to call Ge Liang. Shooting four arrows at once and meeting the targets was almost impossible yet Si Ning did it like a flash that no one realised until the men were hit and how it hit the men showed them that he purposely left those four out because he could have taken those four men instead and they knew Si Ning was a true master of the bow.

The next moment contained a series of attacks that happened simultaneously which involved the two Lan Zhang men that were sparring playfully with the spears turning after seeing the signal of Si Ning taking a person down with an arrow so they threw their spears uniformly which instantly pierced two of Lee’s men deep in the stomach and they jumped at once while they pulled out their sword in midair and landed on two other Lee’s men right on the chest which sent them imbalanced as they fall while the two used their sword to slash their necks instantly taking out four men almost in sync.

At the cooking area, One of Lan Zhang’s men that had his arm around one of Lee’s men who had been trying to shake his arm off brought out his dagger like a flash which he sunk into the neck of his prey, blood gushing out of the wound while his other teammate didn’t waste time in drawing out his sword which he used to slash two of Lee’s men while the one that just stabbed a person on the neck with his dagger pulled out the dagger and threw it which pierced one of Lee’s men right at his neck and the cooking area became bloody.

The two Lan Zhang men making gest of the reserved force also pulled out their swords the instant they saw the signal and made sure to take two of Lee’s men down swiftly just by swinging their swords not more than thrice before one of them threw a dagger in front of one of the reserved force because he was busy attacking the other Lee’s men so he had to leave the reserved force to cut themselves free.

The other Lan Zhang subordinate that went to ease himself used that opportunity to cut a tent open and attacked those in the tent who were drinking alcohol and laughing loudly as they gist. Before Lee’s men in the camp could act to the surprised attack their numbers had already been cut down.

"What is the meaning of this!" Ge Liang yelled after being confused for a second as his eyes rolled around in shock witnessing the attacks. "Atta..."

Si Ning released another set of three arrows, one piercing Ge Liang’s mouth making him stop his order because his mouth got pierced by the arrow that passed through his cheeks tearing them apart while the other two arrows pierced the chest of some men running out of the tent.

"Lan!" Lee yelled in anger when he finally recovered from the shock that the grass in his mouth fell, he yanked off his eyepatch to see better because both his eyes were good and he threw the eyepatch away as he pulled out his sword and clashed with Lan Wan when he was about to attack Lan Zhang who was standing at his front. "You!!!" He shook in anger as his eyes turned red since Lan Wan got in his way and the shoulder pads on his shoulders got shifted to his back almost making me to take a comical appearance.

"An opp...ortunity to kil..l me." Lan Wan turned as the sword clashed again. "... you should be.. glad." He laughed out loud as he continued attacking Lee who was also meeting his sword skillfully and not giving each other any opportunity to cause real damage because after clashing their sword like five times they jumped back to reorganise their attack and steady their swords this time Lee’s shoulder pads were already stuck at his back and only his sash was keeping it from falling.

Si Ning also didn’t slack in shooting those coming out from the tent down purposely leaving Ge Liang like he was invisible, Ge Liang knew if he makes any move he was going to get shot but he wasn’t holding a sword so his eyes dart around looking for a weapon and his eyes finally laid on the weapon stand but his attention got shifted as he caught sight of the Priest that took to his heels, the weapon stand was a bit far from him so he stood up and tried to run to it.

When Si Ning saw Ge Liang’s miserable attempt, he pulled two arrows but due to the number of arrows he had been shooting at the same time which damaged the bandages around his finger so one of the arrows fell and he was only able to shoot an arrow which sank into the right leg of Ge Liang and that made him fall as he lost his balance grunting in pain.

Except for Song Feng who stayed next to Si Ning with his dagger out, the rest including Lan Zhang scattered to attack Lee’s men, the man who went in to call Ge Liang earlier looked so confused and stupidly tried to help Ge Liang up so they could run together. Si Ning knew his time was up so he didn’t hesitate to shoot him down instantly with an arrow.

The camp turned into a battlefield but surprisingly the men Ge Liang hired were no fighters, they started dropping like flies, the seven reserved forces that were able to free themselves also found some weapons to fight and the ones that were intelligent among the men Ge Liang hired took to their heels as one person kept yelling ’retreat’ at the top of their lungs like their throat was vibrating in pain as they ran in a different direction into the woods.

Ge Liang was crawling on the floor slowly with much difficulty, his torn mouth dripping with blood, his diadem crooked, his eyes red with pain as red veins appeared all over his neck, his golden robe already stained with dirt and blood and the elegant looking man turned into a pathetic soul within a second. Si Ning didn’t give him any breathing space as he shot his other leg to make him immobile and he watched as the golden robe got socked with blood at the part he shot just like the other leg. He pulled out another arrow and shot one of his hands nailing it to the ground, he was about to pull another arrow from behind him only to see his bag was empty and Song Feng quickly gave Si Ning his sword like he had been waiting for the arrows to finish.

Si Ning balanced the sword in his hand and watched as Ge Liang turned to his side, his eyes locked on Si Ning, his eyes bloodshot as he started to choke on the blood that was pooling in his mouth as he made a pained expression, his hands shaking terribly as he tried to grip the ground for his dear life. Si Ning took his time walking up to Ge Liang like a predator that cornered his prey and he first kicked off the diadem on Ge Liang’s head as he placed his foot on his chest and pressed it down hard making Ge Liang who was trying to sit up to lie back down flat and Si Ning put pressure like he was trying to crush the man below him chest, Si Ning looked at Ge Liang with pity, people like Ge Liang needs to stay down and be trampled upon just like he trampled on his emotion and his family then proceed to use his mother’s head to play a game, Si Ning couldn’t believe the man that stood high and mighty looking down on him in the pit would be in a merciless situation, it was such a reckless move to bring out two heads without even bringing out a weapon in case things didn’t go well.
