"Minister of Foreign Affairs you should let him speak for himself." Si Ning said to Ling Qi before turning his attention to the man that kowtowed on the floor, his body quivering. "Who are you?" He unconsciously raises a brow.

"I a..m S...."

"What is your position?" Si Ning said cutting him off, purposely sounding annoyed, he doesn’t want to know his name. He already knew him as the Minister of Education but he still wanted him to say it himself.

"I a...m the Mini...ster of Edu...cation."

Si Ning narrowed his eyes. "For you to attend the meeting involving warfare as the Minister of Education means you must be well versed in the acts of reading which means you must have studied lots of books becoming a person with an abundant knowledge and talent surpassing others in your field and since you said I am useless..."

"Ahhhh No noooo Your Majesty!" The Minister of Education cried out as he raised his head, his expression looking pained like he had just been stabbed. "I never said that." He said quickly as he cried.

Si Ning was taken back because the man kneeling and wailing before him seemed to have found his voice. He couldn’t help but find the man pitiful because a grown man in front of him was wailing terribly like a toddler. "Do not interrupt me." He gave a slight warning.

When Ling Qi interrupted Si Ning earlier, he didn’t say anything about it because they were in the courtroom and he wanted to solve the matter before Xiu Zhicheng arrives but this case was different, they were outside the courtroom and he had a lot of time in his hands so he didn’t mind wasting time straightening the man kneeling in front of him out.

"General on your word." Xiao Pei that appeared from nowhere said firmly as he unsheathed his sword and raised it to the neck of the wailing man, this made the Minister of Education to paused his lips with bulging eyes, his face getting red like he was trying not to breathe because even breathing might not be tolerated because a scary tall man in black just arrived and he had bloodthirsty eyes.

Si Ning gave Xiao Pei mental thumps up, he didn’t even need time to think of how to deal with the man before him because he won’t spend his precious time doing that so he was going to just say whatever comes to him.

"Minister of Education, I will give you the honour of being in charge of overseeing Xiu defenses that runs by itself as you said and if it is not feasible then you will bring up ways to defend Xiu and if any of your plans fail then you will lose your hand which you use in writing, another mistake you lose your second hand, the next mistake will cost you your eyes you used to see the many books you have read, another mistake you lose your tongue never to be heard again, I don’t think Xiu will have any more need of you at that time so you will be stripped down of your position."

"Ahhhhhh, Your Majesty! I beg you, I beg you!" The Minister of Education yelled as he raised his head, his eyes were filled with tears, even mucus was coming out of his nose.

Si Ning doesn’t understand why a man with so much confidence speaking without watching his mouth or his surroundings could be shaking, begging when caught and kowtowing, his head making a loud thud on the floor it was starting to bleed while ignoring the sharply pointed sword to his neck as he wailed like he had been hurt. Si Ning almost cringed when the floor got stained with blood that all he wanted was to leave.

"Imperial Tutor... Please for the sake of heaven help me beg his Majesty!" The Minister of Education cried out, tears trickling down his face to his beards.

Imperial Tutor?

Si Ning paused as he felt a presence join them, he had never seen the Imperial Tutor so he wondered what the man Xiu Junjie seemed to have a little fear for would look like.

"That is the highest mercy the slayer of Sauron and its children Saruman can give you." A gentle soothing voice said.

Si Ning’s face flushed red in embarrassment as he turned in the direction of the voice and he found himself facing a graceful extremely tall man with light brown eyes, the man wore a purple diadem to hold his light brown hair that was styled into a high ponytail, the diadem was tall, high up with a flat surface, his purple robe grand and long that his boot was hidden behind it, and he had a striking slim face with a slimly built body that showed the man was not only was versed in the art of books but martial art too but what surprised Si Ning most was that he looked young and at the same time old like he had learned all the knowledge in the world, he seemed like a person who everybody would want to respect and not get on his bad side because his eyes seemed to captivate a person’s soul. Even though the man was much taller than Si Ning, he bowed gracefully and Si Ning had no idea when he also bent a little to return his greetings.

"Greetings Your Honour." The Minister of Defense said as he saluted the Imperial Tutor.

Your Honour?

"Imperial Tutor, Your Honour... please help me...." The Minister of Education cried.

Seeing that the Minister of Education seemed to hold some hope as he looked up to the Imperial Tutor like his god so different from how the Ministers seemed to look at the Prime Minister Song Ouyang, it seemed the Imperial Tutor commanded more respect even Si Ning had no idea what he was going to do if the graceful man in purple robe turns to plead with him to show mercy. Si Ning was not actually going to cut the wailing man’s hands nor remove his eyes or cut out his tongue, he only said those words so that the man won’t be able to sleep well at night which was going to teach him a great lesson never to talk bad about a person ever again.

"I can only help you in getting a clean quiet meeting with heavens by beheading." The Imperial Tutor said with a smile like he just gave his best trying to make his judgement better.

The statement the Imperial Tutor made the Minister of Education collapse and Ling Qi with the other Ministers jumped to help him. Even Si Ning was surprised the man called ’Your Honour’ could say that, he would have preferred the Imperial Tutor to be called ’Your Grace’ because saying those cruel words didn’t even sound cruel at all.

"Oi oi... Wake up!"

"General Si if you need my help with the Defenses of Xiu then I will be glad to offer my services to Your Majesty." The Imperial Tutor said ignoring the two men helping Ling Qi.

"Thank you very much Imperial Tutor for your extended service." The Minister of Defense said with a clear hint of happiness.

"Remember General Si that when dealing with one soldier ant you should not spare the queen nor the rest of the soldiers because when a tree is bad, it has to be cut from the root."

Si Ning found himself nodding and just like that the man left, his walk graceful that even Si Ning admired him while wondering what his last statement means and seeing that Xiao Pei even nodded like the Minister of Defense while Ling Qi and the other Minister face went pale and it seemed Si Ning was the only one that didn’t get it, he wondered if the Imperial Tutor means he should deal with the gossip group matter from the root or not.

"Your Majesty this is great, the Imperial Tutor is a brilliant man and with his help, there won’t be a tiny hole in the defense," The Minister of Defense said happily he almost jumped.

"Good." Si Ning said starting to walk away from the scene which had already started to gather attention because some Ministers were already in a hurry to check what happened while keeping their distance.

"It better for General to take the Imperial door leaving in and out of the palace in order not to be in a position to deal with unessarary situation." Xiao Pei told Si Ning as he fell behind him.

Si Ning had never taken note of it but he knew Xiu Zhicheng and Xiu TianZhao do come in and go out of the courtroom using another door so that must be the reason the three men thought it was safe to talk about him just a place far from the door and courtroom because they thought he used the door to exit the room.

"Young Master....!"

Si Ning turned and there he was, Ah Dai in a hurry to meet him, his eyes crinkled at the edge that Si Ning had no idea when he started to smile too, seeing his favorite servant could cause that.
