Cultivation Struggles of a Lowly Fox -
Chapter 466 – Finishing the rest and walking back
Aiko was now in the last room of this Inheritance Site, but no matter how much she looked around, she couldn't spot the weapon they were talking about.
What was more, all the walls and floors were cracked to oblivion, and this whole place was missing a roof!
It was highly likely that she either destroyed the weapon or, due to the intense clash, blasted it away somewhere far away...
"Nooooooooooooooo!" Aiko collapsed on her knees and stared blankly forward.
"You did a splendid job clearing my inheritance!" A somewhat displeased voice spoke behind her.
Aiko turned around, and her eyes shone with a strange light.
"Well, you still did clear those rooms that I have prepared, so I suppose I should- W-what are you doing?" The Ghost was startled when a Fox was next to him, already stretching her hands with a huge club.
*Whack*
"Ack!" The Ghost barely dodged the primitive club that the Fox brandished.
"Y-you brute!" The Ghost cursed her.
"Stop dodging, you jerk!" Aiko didn't care about his reasoning, but that mole room was truly diabolical, and she would make him pay!
Unfortunately, she still didn't have a good flag that would be able to affect Ghosts, but that was fine. It seemed like even blunt objects could make this Ghost shiver!
*Boom*
Aiko completely shattered the floor when she tried to whack the Ghost.
"Stop dodging!" Aiko glared at him.
"As if I will stop dodging! Who would want to get beaten by a stupid gorilla?!" The Ghost glared back.
"Who are you calling stupid gorilla, you dick! There is no weapon in here!" Aiko glared at him.
"There is!" The Ghost snorted at her. "It's right over-..." He pointed his finger in a certain direction, but that place was completely empty.
"Huh... I could swear that there was a weapon just moments ago..." The Ghost was dumbfounded that his treasured weapon was missing.
Unfortunately for him, Aiko would not wait for him to come to his senses. She had already stretched her body and flexed her muscles.
*WHACK!*
"ARGH!" It was the perfect hit that banished the Ghost.
"Tsk." Aiko clicked her tongue, since she wasted so much time and energy on this. She was even more upset since this Ghost acted all high and mighty, yet his weapon was nowhere to be seen!
-----
[Somewhere high in the sky]
'That happened, huh...' The Spiritual Weapon was currently 'gliding' through the sky like she was on some kind of outing.
'I can't believe that that kind of little Fox would be able to demolish the inheritance.' It shook gently.
'Well, that old fogey will definitely suffer, but I just hope I won't break...' The Spiritual Weapon sighed.
...
The Blood Fox walked out of the temple. She was slowly losing control over her body thanks to that idiot.
"But it turned out well." She obtained some Herbs in this temple, which would allow her to bargain with Mei better.
Just then, she noticed something approaching at staggering speed, but her body was possessed at that moment.
"I'm back!" He roared happily, but suddenly something blunt and thin rammed into his body.
Due to his experience, he was able to shield his internal organs, so there was only external damage, but that didn't mean he didn't lose focus.
"No...! I just possessed her...!" He cried out as he went back to sleep.
The Blood Fox groaned unhappily as her body ached from the impact.
'Ugh, stupid bastard that doesn't know how to defend.' She immediately used a Pill from Mei to heal her external injuries.
That Pill was definitely overkill, but since she was alone, it was better to be in full health.
Looking on the ground, there was a nice fan.
'Was that what hit me...?' The Blood Fox narrowed her eyes as she had a second look at it.
"At least you are pretty, unlike the one who blasted me away." The Spiritual Weapon snorted unhappily.
"You can talk?" The Blood Fox blinked a few times.
"Obviously, I'm not a normal weapon. Now take me, I don't want to end up in someone's ugly hands." The Spiritual Weapon demanded.
"I think I'm alright." The Blood Fox nodded and was about to walk away.
"Waaaait! I can adjust myself for you! Don't leave me here!" The Spiritual Weapon didn't believe that this beauty would just walk away, so she quickly changed her tune and submitted to her.
"I will throw you away if I don't like you." The Blood Fox narrowed her eyes.
"You will definitely like me! I can tell you what I can do!" The Spiritual Weapon said proudly.
"You don't have to do that." The Blood Fox narrowed her eyes.

The Blood Fox quite liked this weapon, since it would go well with her gloves, but...
'If I trade it with Mei, I will get a significant jump.' She wanted to get much stronger, and her current gloves were good enough to last for a long time since they included Blood Abilities.
She stashed the Fan into her Storage Ring before quickly leaving the scene. She didn't even look at the Fan, but she believed it would be pretty enough for Mei.
-----
Aiko walked out of the Inheritance Site with a huge 'grudge' written on her face.
"Did something happen?" The Demonic Foxes approached her gently, but Aiko didn't seem too injured.
She had a few scratches and a bit messed-up internal energy, but that was about it.
"Don't mention it." Aiko rolled her eyes. If she ever saw a mole, she would do her best to bury it alive!
Not to mention, if there were another stingy Ghost around, she would definitely declare war against all Ghosts that were not stored in her Lamp!
"What about the weapon...?" Yuqi asked softly, but Aiko's face distorted even more.
"Don't even ask about it!" Aiko stomped her feet, since this place didn't have anything good inside.
"Oh..." The Demonic Foxes backed away a bit to give Aiko room.
There was one more Inheritance Site, but they honestly could return right now.
Nobody expected Aiko to take one month to clear the first Inheritance Site, so the war was in its climax.
"Tsk. I just want to lie down and not do anything." Aiko clicked her tongue.
"We have also found your team, or rather, two Demonic Foxes with the Shadow Element." One Demonic Fox suddenly said.
"Huh, Yuxi and Wanshu are around? Let's go meet them!" Aiko immediately changed gears, since she was still upset about that 'thing'!
"Sure, we will guide you." The Demonic Foxes smiled happily that Aiko was no longer as upset.
She had quite the scary expression, and the Demonic Foxes didn't want to be on the receiving end...
...
On the way back, it was eerily quiet.
Like everyone ran away far away from this place.
"The war is almost over, so most Humans had to go back and defend the major cities." The Demonic Fox suddenly explained.
"Oho~!" Aiko nodded happily. "But what would happen now?" She tilted her head.
"There would be a big race to get all the Inheritance Sites that were uncovered by this war." The Demonic Foxes paused their steps. "Should we speed up?"
"No." Aiko plainly rejected them. She was tired of Inheritance Sites, so she would seriously just rest and maybe work on her Cauldron again.
She had plenty of materials, and in theory, she should be able to completely finish the upper part. There might be some tweaking that would need to be done in the future, but as long as it's activated, it would be a great boost to Aiko!
"Then just the duo?" Yuqi was curious about Aiko's companions, so she followed them.
"Yeah, they are cute, but I feel like something troublesome is about to happen..." Aiko groaned unhappily.
...
Arriving at the grand palace. Aiko walked inside.
"Aiko~!" For some reason, Mei greeted her enthusiastically, but Aiko's first reaction was to whirl her legs and round-kick her stomach.
"Guh-!" The obviously fake Mei was blasted into a nearby pillar. "You did tell me that something like this would happen, but how come my illusion didn't work at all?!"
That illusion would show you the person that you really wanted to see, but for some reason, it had no effect on Aiko.
"Mei would never wear such erotic clothing!" Aiko proclaimed. That Mei was wearing the same clothing as Aiko had seen in her dreams.
This further solidified the idea that the Mei in those dreams was lying.
Aiko was more careful about her surroundings, looking around, but a familiar voice interrupted her.
"It's the Chameleon Tribe, and there is only one; you can rest easy." It was the Demonic Saintess who was laughing on her throne. "I told you. You would be beaten up by her, but you didn't believe me."
"You are all so weird! Why are my illusions not working on anyone?!" The Chameleon-kin cried out.
"You should also work on your feminine traits, they suck." Aiko clicked her tongue.
She turned towards the Demonic Saintess and ignored the obviously heartbroken Chameleon-kin.
"I heard that cute duo came?" Aiko looked around.
"Yeah. They are resting in the side wing, so you can visit them." The Demonic Saintess didn't say anything about the war, since she wanted Aiko to stay out of it.
Although she did want Aiko to look at the Table Maps later and improve them, so everything would go slightly smoother than before.
"Cool~!" Aiko hummed happily and immediately ran away.
"Ugh." The illusion completely melted, and a beauty appeared from said illusion.
"Tsk. No matter how many times I look at your face, I really want to smack it." The Demonic Saintess didn't like that feminine face paired with a masculine body.
"What? I just started to work out. Is it that bad?" The Chameleon-kin gently touched his face.
"Do that again and I will kick you out!" The Demonic Saintess roared angrily.
"No way! We are this close to victory!" The Chameleon-kin immediately rejected that idea.
"Then don't act out of place and stay put!" The Demonic Saintess glared at him.
"But I'm bored!" He cried out endlessly...
