Yeongsoo blinked in surprise but quickly recovered, a smile tugging at his lips. "Then I’ll have to thank my dad for his predictions. Now with fate in the picture, Haeun and I will always be together," he said with a lighthearted tone.

Taekjoon laughed, shaking his head. "How’s your dad these days, kid? We had a bit of a fallout, but I still consider him my good buddy."

Yeongsoo looked thoughtful for a moment. "He’s ....doing well, though he hasn’t mentioned the past much. Maybe he’s still waiting for the right time to reach out," he replied, sensing the history behind Taekjoon’s words. He couldn’t tell him he had a fallout with his dad too.

"Stubborn as ever, huh? That’s Hanuel for you," Taekjoon said, the fondness in his voice clear despite the history.

Haeun, who had been listening quietly, yawned and stretched on the couch. "All this talk of old buddies is making me sleepy. Can we eat already?"

Minho swatted at him with the feather duster. "Get off the couch, you brat. We’re about to eat anyways. And Yeongsoo, you’ll sit next to me."

"But Umma I always seat next to you!"

"Bullshit, you always seat next to your dad..."

Haeun shook his head and walked to the table at this rate they’ll never have dinner and be done with.

"I’m sleepy, can we get this over with.."

Yeongsoo immediately pulled out the chair for Haeun and then asked him if he was okay.

"Are you okay? Feeling light headed?"

Haeun smiled and shook his head, but he was feeling a headache coming on with how much they were talking.

"No im okay, it’s already 8 let’s eat and be done.."

Everyone finally filled into their seats and dinner officially started.

Taekjoon eyed Yeongsoo curiously. After a few bites of food, he leaned in slightly. "So, Yeongsoo, what kind of work do you do?" he asked casually, though his tone held genuine interest.

Yeongsoo placed his chopsticks down for a moment and smiled. "I run a hotel chain."

There was a brief pause as everyone took in the information. Taeun’s eyes widened slightly, clearly impressed. "A hotel chain? That sounds big."

"Yes, we have locations across country K and a few internationally," Yeongsoo explained modestly, his calm demeanor betraying little of the level of his job.

Minho’s face brightened with interest. "Well, that’s impressive. Must keep you busy, though, doesn’t it?"

Yeongsoo nodded. "It does. But I’ve been lucky to have a great team that allows me to manage things without getting overwhelmed. It also gives me the flexibility to spend time with Haeun."

"...."

Taekjoon nodded, he liked the fact Yeongsoo knew how to manage his time well.

Turning to Haeun, he sighed now that they were together was he still not going to bring up the matter.

"So Hae...you don’t have anything to tell us?"

"..."

Haeun sipped the water as he sinked deeper into chair.

"What? Umma didn’t tell you?"

"..."

"Hae...it’s best you tell us yourself.." Taekjoon pressed, even Minho refused to tell him everything, he only knew the bits and pieces.

Haeun sighed and nodded "Yeongsoo and I are bonded and we’re having a baby together.."

Taeun eyes widened when he heard what Haeun said, his hands shook slightly as he placed them under the table and smiled.

"You’re full of surprises Hyung, no wonder your pheromones smell different, it not just you.."

Taekjoon and Taeun stared at Haeun in shock, processing the bombshell he just dropped. Minho, who had known all along, watched their reactions with a quiet, amused smile.

"Bonded and... a baby?" Taekjoon finally broke the silence, his voice a mix of surprise and confusion. He stared at Haeun, then at Yeongsoo, as if trying to connect the dots. "You’ve been sitting here the whole time, and this is how you tell me, did you even plan on telling me?"

"..."

Haeun, looking a bit sheepish, avoided his father’s gaze. "I mean... I thought Umma told you everything already. You knew we were coming tonight."

Taekjoon ran a hand through his hair, leaning back in his chair. "A grandchild... I’m still trying to wrap my head around that. I didn’t even get to process that you two are bonded, and now there’s a baby on the way." His tone softened, pride creeping in despite the surprise. "When did all this happen?"

Haeun cleared his throat. "A few months ago. It’s still early..."

"So that’s how it is." Taekjoon interrupted, still looking a little dazed. "So, I guess I’m going to be a grandfather. Minho, did you know about this didn’t you?"

Minho smiled, looking between his husband and his sons. "Of course I did, Joon. I was just waiting for Hae to tell you himself. If I didn’t pry it out of him we wouldn’t have know until the pregnancy became visible."

"Tsk tsk! He always wants to keep things to himself until dying minute.."

Taeun, still smiling, leaned back in his chair. "Well, this family dinner just got a lot more interesting." He turned to Yeongsoo, his voice light. "Brother-in-law, seems like you’ve got a lot on your plate."

Yeongsoo chuckled softly, glancing at Haeun with a warm smile. "Yeah, but it’s worth it."

Taeun smiled, if his Hyung was getting his life together, he should give him his support.

"I’ll get diapers for the little guy, im poor I can’t be a rich uncle.."

"..."

Haeun’s lips twitched at Taeun’s shamelessness, a kettle calling the pot black.

"1 million and above no less should be given to my child..."

"..."

"Certainly! Money is not an issue, we will definitely spoil our grandbaby. Minho should we go shopping too. We haven’t gone baby shopping in years?"

"..."

"Dad you really don’t have to.." Haeun waved his hands, he knew his parents very well and they tend to go overboard.

"Nonsense, we’re definitely going shopping now.."

Minho lips twitched well now this idea was stuck, once Taekjoon started buying, it was hard for him to stop.
