On the outside, Briar was indeed trembling like a leaf and she looked miserable compared to before. Raine, who had sent herself to Briar’s door, didn’t know what Briar was thinking and how she had fallen into a trap.

She simply thought that everything was going according to plan. No one was going to save Briar today. She was going to risk it all.

"Raine .... You ..... whatever you want to do, you will never succeed!" mustering the courage to save and protect herself, Briar stuttered as she threatened Raine but the other simply burst into a hearty laughter, tears pooling in her eyes.

"Haha, Briar, are you an idiot? Those people are so far away from here. Do you think that they would save you in time?"

"Even if they don’t save me in time, this is the public restroom. People will call the administrative office. They would find you!" Briar confidently yelled as she protectively clutched her belly and that didn’t go unnoticed by Raine, who gritted her teeth angrily at the thought of Briar carrying a child for Logan.

How could Briar conceive Logan’s child?

She wasn’t going to let Briar achieve her nasty goals so easily.

"Who said that I am planning on running?" Raine hysterically laughed as she continued to walk towards Briar.

From the second she planned on confronting Briar despite being in public, Raine was ready to face any consequences. As long as she gets rid of Briar, she will let Logan feel the pain of losing everything.

Thinking about how Logan had been attacking her family’s businesses in the past week, Raine was determined to hit Logan where it hurt.

She made a fool of herself, the person she trusted to bring Briar down, got insane, got hit by the car and died. She was even sent to a mental hospital and, as if that wasn’t enough, Logan attacked her family for this b****. How could she just let them go?

Briar seeing Raine so determined, a sinister smile suddenly appeared on her face which caught Raine off guard as she wasn’t expecting to see such a quick change of faces like that.

"What_" Before Raine could finish whatever she planned to say, Briar cut her off.

Briar stood firm, a mocking smile on her face before starting to walk towards Raine, which made Raine stagger backwards as she was taken by surprise and not knowing what the other wanted to do.

After suffering several defeats because of Briar previously, Raine knew well not to underestimate Briar. However, after thinking about how it was just the two of them in the restroom right now, she stopped and stood firm, a mocking smile on her face.

She nearly got fooled and gave up the only chance she had to deal with this hussy.

When Briar saw that Raine had gathered her wits, she smirked as she stopped a few feet from Raine and suddenly asked, "Raine, tell me, how did it feel like wasting so much effort, time, and money to collect dirt on me, only for Logan to not believe you?" her tone daunting.

Raine clenched her fists and gritted her teeth the second she heard that. How did she know? Did Logan tell her?

Wasn’t she away when that all happened?

However, before she could respond, Briar attacked again. "Tsk. Tsk. I heard that you went insane a while ago. Was it that stimulating seeing the man you spent so much money to expose me getting insane and getting hit by the car?"

When that was said, Raine’s veins were literally popping out as she connected several dots. "You_"

Briar’s eyes squinted, a smirk on her face as she placed her hand on her belly and provocatively said, "It’s a pity that the man you have loved since you were a teenager never loved you. Instead, he was in love with Selena and had a family with her. When you thought that your chance was coming, you just had to bump into me. Tsk, tsk. Honestly, if you haven’t tried to offend me, Raine, perhaps I would pretend to like you. But why did you come on such a day? Didn’t you see that my mother-in-law was accompanying me to have my wedding dress made? And now she must wait outside. I need to buy a few clothes for my baby!"

When that reached Raine’s eyes, she only heard the part where Briar talked about the baby. Although she could tell that Briar was somehow provoking her, the matter of the baby must be true. After all, she heard it yesterday when the PI she sent was following Briar.

Briar talked about the baby with that friend of hers.

Raine puffed and huffed as she looked at that flat belly.

Briar, seeing the hatred in Raine’s eyes, laughed mockingly as she walked. As she passed by Raine, she added, "It would have been better if you didn’t fall into my trap and ended up making a fool out of yourself when you presented such unrealistic evidence to Logan. How could you bring out such a hurtful reminder that Tiana isn’t his child?"

Briar cut her off as she turned around to face Raine and whispered, "The moment you said that to him. You lost and became a serial liar and a bad person in his heart. After all, I am someone whose memory doesn’t even remember that, so how could I spill the beans to you? Tsk, tsk. If only I knew you were this easy to defeat ....." Briar shook her head pitifully as she turned around, a bit disappointed at Raine’s antics.

Why did she act like her brains were filled with worms and bugs? Even Anna lasted longer than Raine. What a pity!

However, Raine, who was being pitied, was burning red with steam coming out of her ears as realization dawned on her.

Looking at Briar, who was going to the door, Raine’s eyes flashed with a murderous glint. With swift movements, she took out the sharp knife which was hidden in her clothes and rushed towards Briar cussing, "Die, you b****!" forcing Briar to turn around with a mocking smile on her face.

However, when she caught sight of the flashing knife in Raine’s hand, her eyes popped out as she froze in place.

"What_" she uttered, and before she could finish, a ’puchi’ sound sounded and Briar dazedly clutched her belly as she looked down and saw blood dripping from her hands.

’She took the bait!’ she thought smilingly inwardly as she fell to the floor.
