"Did we just get ditched?" Bertha asked with a chuckle seeing the car speeding away.

Alice snickered as she looked in that direction and nodded. "I guess, those two had other plans!"

The three bursts into laughter, as they looked at each other, still speechless about what had just happened.

With Briar gone, they didn’t have any reason to remain together anymore. It was late, and they all wanted to go home.

Madam Meyer chatted with the old ladies for a while as she bragged continuously about the harmonious relationship between Logan and Briar before getting pulled by Alice to go home.

Bertha left with Lady Helen and on the way, entertained the old lady with some juicy gossips. She made the other so happy, when they got home, the old lady was still smiling brightly. Even Bertha’s partner was relieved seeing that.

Meanwhile, the media friends were on a frenzy and busy uploading the juicy gossip before others do so first. Online, the netizens were having a feast and Logan’s wife’s face was exposed making a lot of people angry and some very happy.
